One of the worst things about insomnia is how boring and lonely it is. Everyone else is uncomfortable scious for the longest 8 hours of your life with the worst tv. Its not so bad since netflix but you run out of that quickly enough if it happens somewhat regularly

Also re: the common critique of "you could just copy-paste the JPG!" Yeah well you can also still pirate MP3s, videos, etc. just no one really bothers to do that any more, as the cost of Netflix/Spotify/etc is sufficiently low to make it really not worth the trouble
