This is sad news, it may have had issues at first but this game is Destiny meets Division meets Iron Man. This is the way!

saints (@dalessteaksauce) reported@bioware there an issue with @anthemgame it keeps kicking us off the game having us reload the whole game. It’s a bit glitchy as well. Please fix this the game has so much potential.

Instead, it was more an online MP/Service game, and it seems to have suffered a lot because of that. An Iron Man 'esque game where you could play with a friend, with limited "store" options, would have been great

They can't do a hostile take over but if EA was willing it could be done just as "easily" as selling EA. The issue is exclusive rights to an IP has a lot of value in itself so there is no net value in selling piecemeal.
