There was some bad technical issues at launch buts it's been improved massively. The amount of hate the game got was severe and unjust in my opinion. It's a great experience, I'm glad you're enjoying it.

With ME you got the full game on day one, DLC was always an addition & not ‘the next bit that we ran out of time to do’.
