Anthem Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • WVUPiKA Gabriel Ado (@WVUPiKA) reported from Cashell Estates, Maryland

@notthefakeSVP please talk about the disconnect between the new support for Colin Kap and the new NFL rule players must stand for anthem.

  • scotthess scotthess (@scotthess) reported from Chicago, Illinois

The error Drew Brees makes is that it’s been clear from the get-go that Kaep’s gesture — taking a knee — was specifically chosen so that it wouldn’t dishonor the flag or the anthem, but would call attention to police violence toward black Americans. Ignoring that is ignorant.

  • EDnSantaPaula Eddie in Santa Paula (@EDnSantaPaula) reported from Santa Paula, California

Drew has to know better. Its no problem if he disagrees with kneeling during the anthem....its when he brought up "ancestors" . thats why a lot of players are going at him.

  • Robs_Mets_Talk Rob's Mets Talk Podcast (@Robs_Mets_Talk) reported from Queens, New York

@writtenbyIvana @jemelehill I never said it was disrespected at all. Kaepernick used his profile as a player during the national anthem to make a point about racial injustice. He used that as a platform. I have no issue with that

  • CT_Logan79 Clarence Logan (@CT_Logan79) reported from Hope Mills, North Carolina

It's doesn't matter how black people protest...you had a problem when players were peacefully protesting on NFL sidelines during the National Anthem. So it is what it is.

  • Therese_73 Therese Smith (@Therese_73) reported from Richlands, Virginia

@MylesLGarrett @MylesLGarrett I’m a fan! I am with you in the majority of what is in this post just not the kappernick part. I stand with his cause but the platform he chose to do it no. Flag and Anthem you don’t disrespect soldiers came home broken and in flag draped boxes he is a disgrace

  • Robs_Mets_Talk Rob's Mets Talk Podcast (@Robs_Mets_Talk) reported from Queens, New York

@PromoteDeez @jemelehill I agreee. Doesn't mean Brees believes it doesn't. Kaepernick used the flag and national anthem to make it known about the racial issues in this country.

  • jhallwilliams jake (@jhallwilliams) reported from Shiney Row, England

@colling_morgan Well to be honest mate they tried to protest peacefully but no one would listen to them. They even tried to just simply kneel for the national anthem and people still had a problem with that. They were left with no choice but to make sure the government will listen.

  • danhandana dana ☀️ (@danhandana) reported from Sachse, Texas

Acknowledging what’s wrong with this country and trying to fix it is MORE American than worshiping the flag and the national anthem.

  • JoshuaHudson85 Josh Hudson (@JoshuaHudson85) reported from Coats, North Carolina

@dc_mma I'm all for fixing the racial problems in this country. But like I've said before! Kneel at the start of the game, at the coin flip etc. But not during the National Anthem which is sung and played to give respect to the men and women who fought/died for our freedoms!

  • TheChangoBango Chango the Aquarius💙♒️ (@TheChangoBango) reported from Baton Rouge, Louisiana

@saykiraaaa He voiced that he doesn’t like when people kneel during the national anthem and that he’s proud to be an American. He went on about his Grandparents. He didn’t address the issues that are at large right now and he basically had a very bad sound bite from this.

  • 3_Point_THREAT Big Truss KG (@3_Point_THREAT) reported from Indianapolis, Indiana

I still don’t understand why kneeling before the National Anthem is such a problem for white folks especially when Kaepernick explained why it he did it in the first place!!!

  • JaroG4 The Notorious JGG (@JaroG4) reported from Manhattan, New York

Anyone who still thinks that it’s offensive to take a knee during the national anthem is not understanding (nor cares to) the real issues at hand here They are lost

  • KrisChesshir Kris Chesshir (@KrisChesshir) reported from Sherman, Texas

@RSherman_25 @AllenRobinson What's lunacy is ur stuck on protesting during the national anthem while on the job, u got a problem with what another man does or says then its UR PROBLEM!

  • jakeem_morgan Jakeem Morgan (@jakeem_morgan) reported from Fontana, California

Once again I am not a fan of the riots, NOT AT ALL Hate cannot drive out hate. Nonetheless, if you are someone who had issues with Kap kneeling during the anthem ...people really don’t care what you have to say. Your voice has lost influence.
