@SethShruti I'm in agreement as well as disagreement. Agree that one must stand when national anthem is being played Disagree that it needs to be played in theatres just before the movie starts. SC once again couldn't attack the key issue.

It's great watching films continuously for 8 hours but this standing up for 10 long, boring minutes to a silly old National Anthem really stinks. If soldiers r stupid to stand at the LOC & die for a salary & a stupid medal that's their problem.

This is a completely disingenuous take, and I've seen a lot of them. I didn't like what LeBron did/didn't say on the Chinese issue. But every sporting event there are always people who scream "let's go (insert team name here)" at the end of the anthem. But narrative.

Anthem was such shit that when patches added bugs and glitches, players thought they made the game more fun. And BioWare rushes to fix the “loot shower” bug faster than any of the issues it launched with lmaoo

Not sure what the issue is meant to be here. Alan Mannus expressed his view, controversial as it may be, in a respectful way. The same as people who decline to stand for the US national anthem, or who decline to wear the poppy. You're allowed to do this in an open society.

It is a psychological issue. Such persons assume this as old fashioned as well as an act to be done by illiterate guys. They feel shame in standing in the honour of national anthem. They are pseudo patriots.
