@NewfNukem Stopped listening to reviewers and "gaming journalists" after they killed ME: Andromeda. It had a few problems, but so did Spiderman. Picked up Crackdown, Anthem, Far Cry 5 and Exodus. 2 of them have great reviews and 2...not so good. Personally love them all. Metacritic kills...

Good news with Anthem, I haven't ran into any of the issues people seemed to have had. But so far woof, the mission design and enemies have been pretty dull so far. I hope I'm wrong.

@monkeyDTT I own a digital copy of Fallout 76 for the same reasons. Welcome to the “I hope they fix this shitshow” club. The one issue is EA and BioWare dropped Andromeda and left it broken, so the odds are not in Anthem’s favor

Sorta glad I didn’t preorder Anthem, based on my playing 1 of the betas & all the reports of issues and problems. As a longtime fan of the Elder Scrolls & Destiny, I’m pretty patient w/ buggy, rocky starts, but Anthem’s sounds particularly bad.

Comparing Anthem's launch to Fallout 76's is ridiculous. 76's problems went far, far beyond "repetitive gameplay" and "uninteresting story", the two biggest complaints currently being lobbed at Anthem.

@TGGJustin @WS_Shinobi @ZQuestion Seems like the “rushed” part is mostly about bugs that need another month or so to fix. But there seems to be fundamental flaws in the core design of the game that no amount of patches will fix. Anthem is in desperate need of its “taken king” expansion and it isn’t even out yet.

@BenchmadeKnives Goddamn it. I love your blades, been EDC them for over 20 years. I have a 781 Anthem on my hip right now. If you don't fix this right now in a much more definitive and meaningful way than the milquetoast crap above you will permanently alienate your core customer base.

And I like Fallout 76, too. But I can also still barely play 76, months after launch, because the game was fundamentally broken on a technical level. Anthem, on the other hand, aside from hiccups during the demos seems to be having a pretty smooth launch.
