I’m not sure if it was same problem as other Anthem player, but mine a bit different. After playing Anthem, I return to home and try to open new game, while closing Anthem, my PS4 just shut down. When I reopen, it do the thing when PS4 didn’t turn off properly.

Anthem literally just wrecked my PS4. Sent it to blue screen. Got frozen on reset. Had to pull the plug out and now my PS4 is hot as hell. In 2 years have never had any issues but damn. Fix your game. EA doing EA things. Sony, what gives.

@_Jeevster @nicregis @BlaktimusPrime The point is, any time the PS4 (or any computer, for that matter) is shut down improperly (which is the problem with Anthem), there is a risk of damage (loss of data, bricked console, etc). That it doesn’t happen to you doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen at all.

@CaptainPhatsma Yeh anthem on ps4 is just bricking systems even when it's not running. Uninstall and message sony and they will refund. EA are refusing to look at the issue blaming ps4 friends list as the cause.

@jasonschreier Happened to mine when awaking the PS4 from rest mode with Anthem in suspension today. Got to the sign in screen, crashed to the blue screen & switched off Same Friday night as well when trying to sign in when the servers went down @anthemgame @AskPS_UK @AskPlayStation @EAHelp

@NoHeroes94 I believe Anthem has similar issues on PS4 at the moment and I’ve heard of it bricking consoles. Maybe wait for Ubisoft to address any issues before you try launching it again

ANTHEM is the real deal people. Don’t let the demo sway you. It was supposed to be buggy and full of issues. They resolved them for the main game and that what matters. Don’t stick to this game cause of “loyalty”. I loved D1. This garbage is not a 1star game even. Wake up people

@AskPS_UK Its Anthem, its causes my PS4 to completely power off and then I have to manually switch the system back on, does a full reboot then error report page, not sure on codes but error reports have been sent
