My guess on this is because of all the things that addons allowed before (and being restricted now), the UIs from then & now got scrambled and that's what causes issues. Bartender4 was another thing for me, had to completely delete it and restart etc.

amhayes (@amhayes8) reported@Lumidoom @BlizzardCS I've had this happen to me once or twice, had to nuke my my cache and local config and run the launcher's repair tool. If that still doesn't work blizz may well have ****** up the UI on their end, in which case all you can do is use an addon to suppress errors.

Acs (@RagingAcs) reported@Lumidoom @BlizzardCS In the cata tw week, i did a big pull then was bombarded with tons of addon lua errors & my ui went irresponsive. Even disabling all addons didn't fix it. Something like you are experiencing. Wow code is a total mess right now.
