    @followdusT @CounterStrike Something is unstable in your pc not cs issue

  • Leksakstrader volcano (@Leksakstrader) reported

    @followdusT @jonjiponji @CounterStrike Its not, its your CPU that is the issue it is bottlenecking Also check that your CPU and CPU fan dont have dust. I had 5600x and sever FPS drop (Open chassi and a lot of dust). Changed CPU fan and cpu to 57003xd with better CPU cooler easy fix

  • Anxrchh Anxrch (@Anxrchh) reported

    @kawstuh @followdusT @CounterStrike It’s not a settings issue. 5700X3D is miles better than a 11700k. 96MB L3 cache eats unoptimised slop like CS for breakfast. Get a X3D chip and you will see performance. I have the same cpu and 6750XT UC UV and I get 300+ on max settings if I want to play at that

  • mento210 mento (@mento210) reported

    @followdusT @CounterStrike Had the same problem. My game would always be at 180 or so frames and every time there was a smoke on the map, I would spike down to 60-80. Most annoying thing ever. I tried everything. Only thing that fixed it was time.

  • vixffxiv vix (@vixffxiv) reported

    @followdusT @biggus_maximus @CounterStrike I was having crashing issues and had to turn off xmp

  • BigVariation A big variation of dum **** (@BigVariation) reported

    @followdusT @CounterStrike I have the same issue, dont understand ****. I have tried everything aswell.

  • vano004 Nope (@vano004) reported

    @followdusT @CounterStrike From the research I’ve done I came to the conclusion the issue lies in how much L3 cache you have and how fast your CPU is. Processing in CS2 is mainly done on the CPU and normal processors can’t handle that level of throughput. So getting any x3d ryzen is the way to go.

  • richieblasco Richie | Creative Director ⚛️🔺🍀🍑 (@richieblasco) reported

    @followdusT @CounterStrike 3080, 8-core machine, 64gb RAM. Still getting these framerate drops at key moments, chops down to like 15fps. Same, settings turned WAY down. Game has problems.

  • spizganed Spizganed (@spizganed) reported

    @followdusT @CounterStrike just reading the replies and the post i can tell thats a cpu issue if u have a friend just borrow a better one and put it into your system to see the difference well the whole mobo+cpu+ram combo seems like a chore but its a way to test i guess

  • Pakenzyy Mehmet (@Pakenzyy) reported

    @jonjiponji @followdusT @CounterStrike If latest drivers don't cause problems in other games but there are problems in CS2, I don't think the problem is with the drivers. Why do players need to find solutions? CS2 will never be fixed..

  • sneakinsnake sneakinsnake (@sneakinsnake) reported

    @followdusT @CounterStrike This isn’t enough info. How’s perf in other titles? You need to monitor your hardware to see what’s maxed and what’s choking. You’re trying to fix something without data. All you’ll get here are silly guesses like turning off vsync.

  • Pepsfootball Watermelon (@Pepsfootball) reported

    @followdusT @CounterStrike Move to x3d cpu that's the fix

  • tomketiket Tom Ket (@tomketiket) reported

    @followdusT @CounterStrike i am getting 300+ on a 10700k and a 3070ti, 16gb@3200, there is a problem at your end, but after reading the comments i have no clue what it is 😭 recheck xmp and resizable bar? no idea...

  • egocentricpsyco Egocentricpsycho (@egocentricpsyco) reported

    @followdusT @CounterStrike Try dif resolution settings since you’ve basically tried everything else can’t think of what would be an issue, I had the same cpu just 2-3 months ago and only upgraded to the i7 14th recently don’t see any diff really so doubt it’s your cpu

  • Rakso1337TM raxo (@Rakso1337TM) reported

    @followdusT @CounterStrike same problem bro :(
