  @WickedSalasa @sonngoku22 @belikegift6 Crashing Crunchyroll servers is light work and has always been light work for years, that’s not an achievement retard almost a lot of anime can do that. And weekly doesn’t matter one One Piece episode or a random DBS Beerus Remaster episode would crash those weak servers 😭😭😭

  @Eryn_NotErin @AprilSamuraii @Heroism424440 There's much better ways to support the industry that gets more money to creators and does not promote anti-consumer activities such as region-locking or exclusivity contracts. As far as supporting the industry goes, Crunchyroll is one of the worst ways to do so.

  I used to volunteer as a timer for fansub groups, back before Crunchyroll got big. I was one of those pirates that helped anime which did not have an official translation or license overseas find fans. I despise these people. These people who cannot respect cultural differences, who think the world should bow to their own views, who loudly proclaim indecency while being indecent people themselves. I sometimes look back now and think that it wasn't worth it. Why did we put in all of that work only to have those efforts turn into something where Japanese creators are attacked by the people here? It's depressing.

  @magisxdv @CEkwealor20241 Ya unlike lotm which had delayed dubs,ai subtiles, cutting out content from original eps and 0 marketing. Tbhx none of this problem and had good marketing. Also I don't why he would say that when this is Crunchyroll ratings and not china ratings 😭😭😭😭

  @MadamLaconic @MadamSavvy "rest of your point doesn't matter" it absolutely does. the complaint is Crunchyroll treating SUBS like dubs by removing honorifics that defeats the purpose of having subs vs dubs as separate options you're deflecting from the actual issue

  Seems like Crunchyroll is changing their web video player for the worse: 1. No longer uses SubtitlesOctopus for *** subtitles, instead using hardsubs. Note that hardsubs were already used on the TV/mobile version. 2. No more direct quality selection.

  @ToriCarlini @B_Rabbit843 fma 03 is an aniplex issue, that one's not really on crunchyroll, the fma blurays went out of print well before the merger. crunchyroll has really only reprinted their most popular series, and fma (03 and fmab) most likely would've come back otherwise, given their popularity
