    @hiyori13 In the interest of avoiding total hypocrisy or similar, I am not denying I have or freq. pirated sites despite knowing the ethica, moral, and legal issues. Heck, I have been subscribing to Crunchyroll since Nov. 2007 and they started out as a pirated site.

    @Miisago_han We watch on Bahamut and Taiwan isn’t accessible to Crunchyroll. Netflix’s Chinese sub translation is far lower in quality than Bahamut though, which is why a Taiwanese agent getting licensed is important.

    @Wokenessisevil No Ai translation is the worst thing ever! We have already seen multiple cases of it with Amazon or Crunchyroll! It’s so bad! Just hire the right ******* person who are not a propagandist tool of the platform he works for FFS! As a translator I’m fcking tired of this bullshit! 🤬

    @elpadredavi Not to mention the mountain of errors like Echidna saying “Envy Witch Factor” when she’s supposed to say “Sloth” because some moron at Crunchyroll didn’t double-check what “Taida” means; or Betty saying “Petelgeuse” instead of “Geuse”, making Subaru look like an idiot…

    @Crytfbs @leordas1 Wrong mha dominated the fall season because no other big action anime was airing , mha didn’t crash crunchyroll once during this run btw solo leveling did it like twice but ay believe what you want I can’t convince you just wait for the awards and see

    @WilderCorey Ok! I am sorry about what I said about Crunchyroll. I don’t know how Crunchyroll English Dub studio work. So I thought that Crunchyroll would let the voice actors know when the episode will release. I understand that you guys are taking a break from the holiday.

    @ShitpostRock What you want is localization. Localization is ensuring you receive the same experience as the native audience. What you take issue with is censorship and vandalism. I’m a localizer, and it hurts my industry when people associate what I do with the trash Funi and Crunchyroll do.

    One day we'll have to talk about Crunchyroll subtitles in certain anime with multiple characters talking at the same time they decide to translate just one conversation, and often it's not even the main character's. but in some website 👀 they don't have this problem.

    @KingGoldark @SushantJunior @YUNGJEFF Crunchyroll’s subtitles are surprisingly bad. They’re full of robotic language, grammatical errors, and straight up mistranslations. Older fansubs can often be worse, but the subs he’s using were actually written in 2025 by a reputable team
