@spinaret Eh. It sounds like the idea is to give PlayStation a boost in live service games and, like Destiny, those aren't for me. If they also make a less online, less likely to need to have content removed/cycled game, then I'm in

  • Iwidesence Iwi 💜 (@Iwidesence) reported

@aquue_2 I have never ever in my life seen a weapon from destiny completely removed. It’s not like I like sunsetting but it addressed two different problems at the same time. File bloat and weapons getting absurdly strong. There had to be some kind of soft reset.

  • MemoriesLPs MemoriesLP (@MemoriesLPs) reported

@JShwayze111 @Dubbz_V @PlayStation Yeah but it still takes them years to release a game on pc, at least 1 full year, which is horrible specially for live service games like Destiny.

  • HazyGamezz HazyGamezz (@HazyGamezz) reported

@solgob_ That’s why Halo should take notes to avoid years of live service mediocrity that I went through as a Destiny main lol but yeah good point about the esports scene. I agree.

@ianwilgaus @Charalanahzard But man they could have spent their money on something more valuable. According to their own release they basically bought Bungie for their potential. Only problem is they haven't shown any potential for 10 years. They've just been a destiny factory which to me isn't that great.

  • dabuith Snekith (@dabuith) reported

@Nibellion Honestly this is pretty good if they wanna fix the shot show that is destiny 2 hope the new support from Sony helps bungie fix their ****

  • WincuRilan Curt Winter (@WincuRilan) reported

@mvdb2009 @BungieHelp But they have Sony money now and will fix everything .... NOT

  • JoshM574 Josh⁷ (@JoshM574) reported

@kazanerdi @TrialsReport The main thing I see happening is some kind of bonus cosmetic pack, but I dont see them releasing content early/exclusive to PlayStation. I think that'd cause issues on the dev timeline for a live service game like Destiny, so I don't think D2 can be out of sync like that.

  • GreatMmesa Gmems (@GreatMmesa) reported

@rose_talon091 @DestinyTheGame Considering how easy it is for Bungie to block equipping broken exotics, I can imagine where a playstation exotic is blocked when you try to use it on Xbox and PC. The PS Exclusive strikes simply won't be in the PC and Xbox matchmaking pool.

  • MrAmbassador91 MrAmbassador91 (@MrAmbassador91) reported

@FSutter1 I’m willing to bet it will depend what happens with the Activision acquisition. I don’t see MS pulling COD, OW, etc from PS so it might not be an issue. I just don’t want to see Destiny how it was in D1 and D2 before they split from Activision

  • hysterical_j Hysterical_J (@hysterical_j) reported

@singleplayer33 @AEGRO_84 Were saying nothing, Bungie hasn't has anything to do with Halo for 13 years. It's Ponies think Halonis now PS and tweets getting deleted that's gold right now. Maybe Sony can fix Destiny 2 **** dlc and make the game great again.

  • DFFTCOP DEEP (@DFFTCOP) reported

@SLloydNorris Don't give a **** about Destiny or any "live service" games.

  • son_0fdamorning Leo (@son_0fdamorning) reported

@IGN No more funding problems! New IP from Bungie coming out. Possibility of a Netflix series or something, maybe? Good Bungie got what they needed! Let’s hope for some sick content for Destiny now.

  • Datruth_iseasy DaTruth777 (@Datruth_iseasy) reported

@FrontlineGamer @reksveks @alyx_xander 1. This gives PS their first big games as a service. Which they get 100% of the cut now. That was sorely needed for PS. 2. The technology and skills of the destiny team. Will be passed along to their other Devs and multiplayer games they have coming that's huge for PS.........

  • theshayminpunk Shaymin-Punk (@theshayminpunk) reported

@TheQuartering On the brightside, it's going to be good for Destiny players. And it's going to remain multiplatform. So there's almost no downside here. Sucks for Sony competitively, but unless you own stock in Sony I don't see why that's a problem.
