  @discord @discord @discord_support I am unable to login to my hydroplaysrblx account with my old email because it got deleted. I made a support ticket on a human removing/updating to my new email and as far as I know I keep getting automated messages from your bot, Nelly. Help me out.

  Everyone is appreciatively bitter about @Discord's nigh-innavigable support system and how far removed it feels from being human, and those are fair complaints as end users. I think specifically the issue here is that customer support simply doesn't scale and that the expectation that large platforms shouldn't use automated systems to process customer queries is silly. Given how reasonably strict laws are for platforms it makes more sense to rely on automated tools to scan content, the issue is that when these create false positives it places a significant load on support infrastructure when people require human intervention. A malicious user using Discord to share content that violates their child safety policy will have a much easier time making a new account than trying to recover their existing one, so the game theory plays out that false flags upset legitimate and compliant users (often paying customers) significantly more than than correctly flagged content prevents malicious users. Naturally Discord only cares about remaining compliant with local laws and no user has the right their account. In some areas such as the UK and the EU, you have the right to human review in the event that wholly automated action is taken against you, such as account suspension. However, trying to cite these statutes is an exercise in patience as Discord needs only respond to them in a "timely manner", and it benefits only them to draw it out. All this is to say, I don't have an answer as to how platforms should operate at the support level, their careers page currently shows listings for support platform developers, so clearly they don't currently know either. I know that as an end user, who has been unfairly flagged for something quite serious over something quite benign and having lost my account to it, I am a frustrated end user.

  @discord Please please fix scaling issues when resizing windows on iPadOS (and probably Android too). The keyboard often overlaps the send button, and many UI elements go into each other or are cut off. And please a PC like emoji/gif/sticker picker on the tablet App 🫠

  I have access to my email and can receive login links, but I don't remember my current password. Discord only sends me login links instead of a password reset email. Because of this, I can't change my password or delete my account since it asks for my current password. @discord

  @VILLAINL0VER @melonkind @discord discord STILL beats Google's support by default because it doesn't even exist lol. One whole email account I've had for years completely gone forever. If you didn't have youtube channel attached to your email before you lost your gmail Google refuses to help you.
