@mkhammer @etrade @etrade y’all on this? I assume y’all have a customer service department specifically for these types of situations, right?

  • Carolewithane13 Carolewithane (@Carolewithane13) reported

@mkhammer @OfBetters @etrade I’ve found on many occasions going through Twitter is actually faster when trying to solve a problem. Maybe they don’t want to risk bad publicly but they often have good people working social media. Good luck!

  • MyAlteredEgo MyAlteredEgo (@MyAlteredEgo) reported

@mkhammer @etrade In my experience E*Trade has excellent customer service by phone, just saying. If your friend's father was well off they have a higher-level of service, also by phone.

  • YourmanGodfrey Troy Hinrichs (@YourmanGodfrey) reported

@Madisox43 @mkhammer @etrade Phones work but if the person on the other end won’t help you innovate. Good on MK for public shaming

  • CollegeInvestin The College Investor (@CollegeInvestin) reported from San Diego, California

@etrade is disappointing with their customer service changes in eliminating all online help. The only contact options are now calling (wait times though) or go into an office. They have: - disabled online chat - eliminated online secure messaging Seriously - it’s 2021!?!

  • Sunshin21176498 Rain (@Sunshin21176498) reported

@mkhammer @etrade Bank of America was the worst when my dad died. I was literally in a local office with all paperwork and they said the New York office handles that. Go hime and get here notarized to prove how you are and send to this fax. I cried more. They were awful/inept.

  • OpenMindPolitic ChallengePoliticsWithFacts (@OpenMindPolitic) reported

@mkhammer @etrade Just hate when “celebrities” use their fame on social media for personal benefit. That’s lame and shows a lack of situational awareness. Start a movement - ok. Complain about a personal situation - NOT OK!!!

  • LehmanWmlehman Bill Lehman (@LehmanWmlehman) reported

    @mkhammer @etrade Yes @etrade, please help.

  • IrvingFisher16 IrvingFisher (@IrvingFisher16) reported

@mkhammer @noonanjo @etrade Deal with a 1-800 discount broker and get 1-800 discount customer service.

  • Mannyj07 Manny j (@Mannyj07) reported

  • Mannyj07 Manny j (@Mannyj07) reported

@etrade what can’t you keep your LIVE CHAT on? Your customer services sucks

  • TadGhostal3 Patrick H. (@TadGhostal3) reported

@BaltusVT @mkhammer @etrade Sure, because only blue checks ever tweet to company Twitter accounts to get help with something. FFS, dude.

  • CdreMattDecker Commodore Matt Decker, B.A. in Hamburgerology (@CdreMattDecker) reported

@mkhammer @etrade Good to hear. The ackshuallys in the original thread were getting me down.
