@etrade you should hire more customer svc reps, every time I call over the past year I end up hanging up as the wait times are so long... didn’t used to be this way. It’s very frustrating. Pls find a way to shorten wait times. Thx!

Follow up - for future traders, if using @etrade enable options trading early or else suffer my scenario. I'm still pending approval 20 minutes prior to close. @TDAmeritrade gave me options and customer agent. @etrade needs to get their game together

@etrade E*TRADE customer service is terrible. My 18 year old son has been trying to open an account for 2 weeks. After waiting fir 2 hours they asked him to upload a photo of his drivers license and they would call him in a few hours to verify his identity. They never called.

You have horrendous customer service. I have had my customer support call dropped 4 times after staying on hold for 30 min @etrade. This is unacceptable and as soon as I can I will be leaving etrade.

@etrade Would you really want to use a broker that will freeze an account of a 20 year elite user without cause... No suspected cause? Just because they say they can? When your money gets frozen and finances and credit take a hit you won't think I'm just a disgruntled customer anymore.

@etrade @MorganStanley What is up with answering the phones at eTrade? It was poor before but now it's over a half hour wait to get a live voice on the phone. You are hurting us day traders living with such SH!t Service. FIX it or @interactivebrokers here i come!

@etrade You wanna explain somewhere on the site how authentication is being processed into password encryption wise? Cannot compare authentication 6 digit added to the end without the password being cleartext. Terrible 2FA implementation.
