When @etrade says 5 minutes for the next online customer rep, then mean 45 minutes. Is that standard for other platforms?

@jablamsky @etrade I got through after about an hour on hold another 45 min on call finally resolved. Person I reached was good but I had given up two previous times due to wait. Pretty bad for sure.

@etrade platform unusable & 1hr wait 4 customer service & another 1hr wait 4 tech support. Market Data Subscriptions notice cripples site. 10 notices pop up by themselves when log in & if click on anythintg more notice pops up Last wk problem was platform ring sound what's next?

@spacathon @jablamsky @etrade IDK - they assigned somebody to me. His name is Nam and he is a real person. He occasionally calls me. Other times I always get a real representative and the issues are resolved on the spot, or Nam calls me back very quickly.

@jablamsky @TheMarkCooke @etrade Jessica, I find that almost nobody does customer service well. I just don’t get it. Has confused me for so long. Maybe companies are just set on keeping wages at a certain level and, thus, cannot get talent? idk.

@jablamsky @etrade Had to move from E*TRADE and interactive brokers to schwab due to customer service. Had a wonderful experience relative to these brokers. First time realized, customer experience could be also a moat

@etrade platform cripple if try anything like refresh it freezes. Tech support can't fix issues despite multiple same issue customers complaints. A promise of call back by supervisor in 30min nonexistant. 2 hr weekly phone calls for issues instead of trading. What's up @etrade?

@jablamsky @etrade I agree. took too long to update my cost basis information with them…. Was considering moving money away from them and back to fidelity because of it. Schwab has had great customer service, I just get annoyed with calling them for a confirmation number

@stock_mj @etrade @CharlesSchwab I love Schwab. They have top tier customer reps and their system always works. Never an issue at schwab. I was trading AMC options when everyone in RH was locked out. They let you trade whatever OTC you want. You get to decide not the big boys.
