❀Dawson❂ (@DawsonBarcey) reported@coinbase I just initiated a stock portfolio transfer from E*TRADE to Coinbase. E*TRADE was able to get on the phone with me and verify the outgoing transfer and making sure that I got my reimbursement for the fee that they had charged me. I can’t get a single human person at Coinbase both on chat or phone to assist me about the transfer verification. I feel like I should transfer all my **** back to @etrade because their customer service is superior.

Your support staff Patrick H, stated that because @SpaceX just did IPO “I’m sure there will be hiccups, and we will raise a case to have your funds returned”… Seriously wtf ?? I have to warn you that e*trade stands out in a very bad way from most other online brokerages in that you still charge fees on mandatory corporate actions on equity holdings. Your UI is top notch but these fees have driven me to open accounts at other brokerages. I hope E*trade reconsiders and eliminates these ridiculous fees to stay competitive.

Joe Shaffer (@Shoelessshaffer) reported@etrade liquidated a 7 figure stock portfolio my wife inherited into a managed fund. When there was confusion about which accounts funds were going into, E*trade did nothing to prevent the rebalancing/ liquidation. This triggered a sizable tax event. E*trade is the worst.
