@uraviteas No it is absolutely hilarious bc I wouldn't yell like this if fb messenger went down... and I literally run business off that. But the silly little community chat app? the world is ending if it goes down (which is monthly occurrence).

You can turn off read receipts in iMessage. You can hold down an unopened message in fb messenger and read what it says. You can half slide the chat in Snapchat and read what it says. @instagram, we’re just waiting on you …
