The problem seems to lie only with MMS and not the SMS. Facebook Messenger can take the place of the standard Samsung Messages app so maybe this'll be the work around solution I need?

Okay so I've worked through every possible solution on @sprintcare 's side and did some digging online myself. There still is no solution to this issue other than to keep wifi turned off 24/7 which is not an option. Going to try utilizing Facebook messenger as my main message app
