Just updated my @Facebook messenger and now I can't click on friends names to message them. Great. Ever since @Google upgraded my #pixel 5 to Android 12 I've had nothing but issues. Wasn't like this in previous versions.

@rgay At a hotel breakfast room last week a woman sat with a laptop and had her volume way up. She was chatting on FB Messenger so would get a loud DING with each new message. Stared daggers at me when I asked her to turn it down. People are *****.

Then tried to contact Facebook messenger, which not said: “If you are experiencing issues scheduling an appointment, call your local center for help scheduling your next donation appointment.” But the call just tells me to check out the website and hangs up.

@Meta the whole problem with FB Messenger Ads is it destroys the point of using it. People abandoned email because it became 99% spam (all noise, little signal). Messenger was 100% friends. Adding Ads to Messenger (or WhatsApp) just makes it into another spam-filled email app.
