@raissawriter I am using my phone from the Phils. No SIM card. My wifi/internet naman. I can used my FB messenger to audio/video calls. Wala pang bayad. Still sa mga malls at airports may signal din. No problem. OBTW I have also my registered SIM Card here in the US.
