@WillBerron @IGN Nah. Not really. You can still send all those things over text. Photos especially. Videos do tend to get compressed. I usually use FB Messenger for videos. But photos are a non issue. I don't buy Apple out of principal. But if you like them, there's no real reason to switch.

@sinarynn when i used imessage like a decade ago i had no issue with sending imessages worldwide? it should just be like facebook messenger or discord in that it uses the internet rather than a phone carrier

Does anyone know how to deactivate my FB Messenger account? I’ve already deactivated my main profile. I have spent probably 30 minutes trying to figure this out. The option to deactivate isn’t showing up anywhere help articles say to look.

@heyjenbartel I only use Facebook messenger. Instagram has a problem with petty people reporting the dumbest **** and somehow winning and you can’t even explain context to defend yourself. The report staff if they even exist don’t even look 99.9% of the time.

@NNerocchi It isnt just Twitter. Facebook, Facebook messenger, Instagram, Whatsapp, are all having outages. Hell, even the McDonald's app is having a surge of reported outages. Likely a world-wide major outage, whether purely on accident or done with malicious intent.

@USAA I wasted time doing this on Facebook messenger. Was faced with more chat room incompetence. All the reps had to do was connect me to an agent in your awful and outdated phone queue on a Saturday. I’m just not surprised in bad customer service with USAA now.

@FadicalNem My DMs were down earlier but are back up now. Apparently the outage has affected FB FB messenger, YouTube, Instagram as well. Probably a AWS (Amazon server) issue on which these platforms all depend.

@sondesix Are these issues per device based or the whole Exynos is like that?? Because in two years I havent felt any overheating with mine. I'm a heavy user, sometimes I use pubg with whatsapp, insta and facebook messenger in pop-up view.
