@ElectricKiwi I had that on the old version of Facebook messenger, went to my inbox & there was nothing there. Turns out it was a glitch between the phone app & the desktop & sorted itself with an app update. Maybe reset your internet settings on your phone?

It's like gifs & stickers in iMessage & the default Android keyboard. They belong in Facebook Messenger but as in-built OS-level features it's like corporate-mandated fun — if it doesn't click with you, it's *your* problem and *your* job to ignore it.
