@AnaClar50988053 @jamesgtmoore @ezralevant FB and IG have been working on integrating their messaging platform into one big one - Whatsapp,IG and FB messenger. Something they had to PROMISE not to do before buying WhatsApp. The integration proves difficult for them. It's brought down their service at least 3 times in '21

Did you even get any of the Jan-6th video evidence submitted to you before it was taken down? The videos surely would not have survived being openly posted on social media.

@ysbeidiauheulog I mainly use the fb mobile site because the actual mobile app is terrible. I think most people would rather communicate over fb messenger (which hides all profile info from marketplace chats) than give out your phone number.

Many issues arising on my @Samsung Galaxy S10e following a recent @Android update that go beyond WiFi connectivity (still not working). Uninstall Gear VR Service message after every reboot removes FB messenger when I follow the prompt. Some app updates not working.

Went down a rabbit hole on fb messenger last night (bad idea, do not recommend) and found messages my ex sent on my behalf in 2009 interrogating and harassing people AS ME for sending me friend requests and commenting on my photos. He also lost me a photo client, I had no idea.

I'm about to drop @TMobile ! Ever since we had to swap our Sim card from Sprint, I've had connection issues. I have to use Facebook messenger to text my husband because my text messages don't go through. I've been with Sprint since '04 and never had issues like with TMobile.

@doctorow In theory Signal, What's App and Facebook Messenger all implement Signal protocol and are compatible engineering-wise. Just as with e-mails and back in the time with phones, the problem is identity. Until not that long ago moving or changing operator meant changing phone.
