@AtlanticBBInc Well, we had this same conversation a week ago when I needed a transfer of service so I message thru fb messenger like you advised me to, set everything up for today to get transferred only to find out that it was only scheduled to be a service call for tech.

@Jason23Gar @toddneville Everyone I don't know if this helps you but I have had a great deal of success reaching Ohio unemployment through Facebook messenger. I send a message and usually that same day I get a message back and they have fixed my issues every single time this way. Better than calling.

@KatieDaviscourt Do not use FB Messenger. Facebook has access to messages you send there. Use a E2E encrypted service like Signal, Whatsapp, Telegram (with encryption enabled), etc.

If I wasn’t a bad enough friend for forgetting to reply before COVID I’ve just looked in my Facebook messenger and saw a message unopened from 4 days ago and now I feel like it’s rude to reply but message notifications just overwhelm me and I just put my phone down instead 🙃

@DuckDuckGo @mshelton I love Signal. I dropped Facebook Messenger and I'm not going back. My one issue with Signal is that I can't send photos in batches, only one by one. I wish they'd update that issue.

@whitequark there was that kind of brief period in the late 2000's where you could login to facebook messenger, google chat etc via XMPP. Even up to 2015 I was logging in to Lync/Skype for Business with pidgin which worked well for chat
