I built a prototype chatbot on Facebook Messenger a couple years ago that does basic DMV content trafficking functions just for fun. It receives tons of messages from people in dire need that it's not yet trained to help. I told @VirginiaDMV months ago and just crickets.

Anyone else noticing a keyboard lag or glitches in your typing on @Messenger? I'm not having this issue on mobile, but my messages are either doubling or producing really weird typos when I use @Facebook messenger on my laptop. So inconvenient.

@AraWagco I do wish I don't have to talk to a CSR on the phone to get things done. I prefer self-service thru browser- not another downloaded app. If not self-service, then chat / FB Messenger / Twitter DM / sms / email. just not a voice call

Pro tip: the best way to get help with your EHIC card is via fb messenger. Still not worth having a fb account, so I deleted mine.

@PBPtallaght @paulmurphy_TD If they aren't being backed up there though, the messages only live on the device that sent it and the device that received it. Once deleted from both devices they're gone forever, there's no record of them. This is in stark contrast to a service like fb messenger or Telegram.
