    @pabst_jim @cullend @Facebook I'm not at Facebook, but as a software engineer I've had a product management colleague borrow my angle grinder because their child's bike lock had a lost or broken key. (From home, I've not had a reason to take it to work. But it's hardly an obscure tool.)

    @Greggers_UK @saleemCh_JK @Facebook He should ask for his data to be safe and the services be working properly. Also i think it's weird how they never comment when they have an issue like this. They want to hide the fact that they were hacked so they avoid lawsuits. People should absolutelly know if they were haked

    @AstridBears No problem. I read that @Facebook said they could not contact the people with the actual keys. So nobody in management had the phone numbers of these top-tier network engineers? Sorry, not buying. Network engineers are given phones they HAVE to answer in case of an outage.

    When a car has a safety problem the manufacturer is responsible for fixing the problem under federal law. When @facebook has a problem with algorithms that harm users, they "voluntarily" make "modifications." It is past time to regulate and hold social media accountable.
