@supermormongirl @hbomax @netflix They definitely have good shows, but their business plan was always about getting more and more subscribers, with apparently no plan for when they inevitably plateaued. So, they have a couple tent poles but then sacrifice quality everywhere else in the name of numbers

What is going on with @hbomax? Everything I am seeing makes me think I won’t be using it for much longer. They are completely gutting it and getting rid of a ton. Crazy times we live in. Services going from one of the best to terrible overnight it seems.

@rgay @hbomax Warner Bros Discovery recently acquired HBO Max and this is the fallout from that consolidation. Even though they promised it would be good for competition w Netflix & Amazon, this is what we get. Awful.

@BlankSpaceProd @hbomax AND there's no paid tier nonsense that stops you from being able to stream in high quality - like I HATE Netflix for paywalling the best streaming quality by making it much more expensive than other tiers, like wtf!???
