    @hbomax You need to kick out everyone associated with this show. You can keep the John Stewart actor he's fine. Writers producers everyone else had to lose their job. This was beyond terrible.

    @hbomax This is not a hero. To be honest, in these 3 chapters they haven't shown John do any hero actions, and I don't mean by using the ring, but as a soldier or to help somebody. All we've seen is just a guy being arrogant along with his douche bag counterpart.

    @hbomax I think episode three was a bit heavy handed in its delivery and they changed a bit too much in regards to John Stewarts lore. He was not dishonorably discharged from the Marines. They made his parents into nut cases. No self respecting Black parents would put their kid through that for a damn green lantern ring. They need to focus on details in the show too. A Marine would never call a Sgt Major just Major. That’s not the rank he has earned. They would always call him Sgt Major. Then I saw the behind the scenes stuff and a female said John Stewart didn’t get an origin story like Hal Jordan did in the comics so they wanted to fix that. I don’t know what comic she was reading but John Stewart does have an origin story in the comics same as Hal. Both Hal’s and John’s origins have been retconned over the years as well. Episode three was kinda meh. Way to heavy handed in it’s messaging which makes the episode come off as silly. You can address issues of ethnicity and privilege in more subtle and intelligent ways.

    It looks fine... but that “magical feel” is missing. The muted colour scale is a mood killer... and the scenes are giving copy paste vibes all over because it's the same story being told again. And @hbomax plz fix that uncreative HP logo... it's bad! 😭 #HarryPotter
