    @dunemovie @hbomax I loved the books but I have a problem with the #DuneMovie. The story takes place 20,000 yrs in the future but the dialogue is like 16th century English. I just can’t reconcile the 2 extremes. It may be one of those books that just doesn’t translate well to film.

    @hbomax @HBO why did your servers crash mid-Dune? Why weren’t you ready? Why were you too cheap to mix the sound so we can actually hear the dialogue? And why do the captions for your badly mixed and muffled dialog taking up a quarter of the screen? #hbomax #DuneMovie  #fail

    For those trying to get Dolby Atmos on @hbomax app, I had to side load a much older version ( 50.35.0.275 Android TV version ). Still can't get Dolby Vision to work ( Fire TV Cube ). Netflix etc... all work fine with Vision/Atmos so it's 100% HBO's app at fault #DuneMovie

    @anshelsag @hbomax Same. Peak nits of many theaters I've been to is poor. And often the audio is too loud. Villeneuve has it all backwards. He should want us to experience his work in a controlled environment. Anyone who isn't going to take those steps probably doesn't care in the first place.

    @hbomax @HBOMaxHelp Help! I just signed up for your service but it will only play on my laptop and not my ps4 connected to the tv which was the main reason I wanted it. Ever time I click on a movie to play it sends me back to the main screen.

    @BrienWannabe @dunemovie @hbomax Yeah, I’ve never been able to get the subtitles to work on HBO Max’s new releases. Everything else is fine, but new releases I can’t get for some reason. I use amazons fire cube.

    @dunemovie @hbomax This is not a movie to see on a TV. It's designed to be seen in a theater, in particular lighting conditions and with a quality sound system. The only reason to not see it in the theater (at least the first time) is because you're cautious about Covid.

    Weirdly I couldn’t watch Prisoner of Azkaban on @hbomax but it was pouring and thunder/lightning at the time. But I did have WiFi so idk why it wouldn’t work. :/
