@HBOMaxHelp Dear intern, lemme tell you about the time I deleted 11,000 item records from the library database, told my boss, who gave me a hug and told me it’d be okay. Then I posted my mistake to a library listserv and a nice man wrote a script to fix it. We all make mistakes.

@HBOMaxHelp Dear Intern: My first night at my first full-time radio job I entered a wrong command into the computer. Locked the whole thing up for a half-hour and a 60,000 watt station aired nothing. PD came in all pissed off and he couldn't fix it. Engineer redid the system the next day.

Dear intern, In my first live broadcast as a young radio reporter, I mispronounced someone's name, unintentionally changing it into a bad word, and nervously burst out laughing. The station immediately cut off the broadcast due to "technical issues". @HBOMaxHelp

@HBOMaxHelp Dear Intern, As a software developer intern I once disabled the software’s “Save” default. So everyone who closed or crashed the product lost ALL their work. Customers were annoyed, but I kept my job AND learned the importance of setting the right defaults in all areas of life.

@HBOMaxHelp Dear Intern - a guy I work with was trying to send all his appointments to his phone and accidentally re-invited everyone in the company to all his appointments for the last 5 years. The CEO (in Europe) responded and said he couldn't do time travel. Wasn't me, I swear.

Paying for @hbomax is paying for frustration. I should get $1 every time it freezes, crashes, says "Oops," or generally doesn't work. I could retire comfortably by the end of the month! That'd be a great selling point. Get $1 back for every time an app stops working.

@HBOMaxHelp Actually, one of the nicest messages I got that day. Nobody tried to sell me anything or needed me to hurry and help them or wanted to complain. Somewhere, there was somebody quietly testing something. Ahhhh. Engineering poetry. Thank you. Pay that intern well.

@MissMer84346656 @Marymeowmix @HBOMaxHelp Yeah plus look at all the messages showing how we have all done stuff like this. If the intern is reading I hope it makes them feel better. At the end of the day it wasn’t that awful an error. It could have been much worse.
