    @RtisticWriter @riotgames There was a follow up on their end. Turns out bots were the ones who filed the complaint in error. They are currently working to fix the issue and get the artist back up and running.

    @riotgames Do y’all know how many IPS there are? 💀 it’s literally not possible to have someone manually review them. Simple AI error , unfortunate but it happens.

    @_AntaBaka_ @StefanMitrevsk4 @riotgames Ahhh I see. Well that's where the fault lies with the DMCA laws. Big companies can cause issues as they see fit with bots putting all these faulty DMCA claims in, with zero penalties. There needs to be penalties put in place for these sort of things or nothing will ever change.

    @riotgames Rescind copyright on words and you won't have issues of that nature, now will you? Or, how about you rescind your copyright on anything at all,? Boohoo, someone might sell a product associated with League of Legends without you getting paid for it. Big deal, if that's the price.

    @kotton_boi @kuttysarkart @riotgames The issue is that with DMCA, there really isn't supposed to be a way for recourse guaranteed if you're a creator on a platform. Youtube has their own systems for this, but even then, they're pretty dogshit. This is a legal issue with DMCA, where false claims exist uncontested.

    @riotgames Mistakes happen if you have a bot doing all the work. Maybe have someone verify the bots actions and do research before finalizing a report? But teepublic does have a major problem of copyright infringers in the Marvel/Nintendo/Disney department.
