My account got hacked over a week ago and I've sent multiple tickets about it without receiving a response on any of them. The hacker simply brute forced my mobile authenticator code and got in anyway. What a joke.

Karl Alex Pauls ⚛️ (@KarlAlexPauls) reported@Rowojon @riotgames If you understand better what’s going on then you should be able to explain it. Do not think you can hand wave this away. A direct memory access card reads from the instructions to mirror parts of main memory which contain Valorant instructions (copyrighted) and memory. The Riot software issues instructions to Windows IOMMU which disable the DMA devices for all operations. This exceeds the scope of their interests (the Valorant code and memory space). DMA devices used only for legitimate purposes may have a cause for action. The civil standard of evidence most likely leans in Riot’s favor, and the harms are not irreparable.

Tokyo Morose (@LTsarcasm) reported@304FoundNot @SpookyGhost81 @riotgames What MS is trying to do with a driver whitelist (thus blocking any form of unapproved ring zero access) is a good idea - but they can't actually make the whitelist tight enough without causing too many compatibility issues. Too many end users require compromised drivers.

I was also thinking a lot about it and wheter it was coded to be like this. My conclusion is it maybe is a bug/coding error, but also could be a new skill test.

☁️🦁 Saren (@nekomatasaren) reported@MorrivarGG @riotgames Yeah if the hardware tries to read memory region protected by IOMMU after the restriction is in place, the OS is surely going to generate illegal memory access errors, which results in bsod for windows. I think it's by design.
