    @knifewoman6 @CheeseGalaxy3 @riotgames Yes, they are permanent changes to your OS. Vanguard alters WIndows in a way that causes the DMA card to not function at all if you have IOMMU turned on. This persists even after you uninstall all Riot software. The only way to fix it is to reinstall the OS.

    @riotgames The last Vanguard update causes my PC to crash 3-4 times per day with vgk.sys error code, sometimes in the middle of rounds, in champ select, in the lobby. After restarting everything works normally until after a bunch of new rounds it happens again... never had a cheat program

But yer last sentence actually describes Ring-0 process isolation, not IOMMU & that kernel-level software policing is exactly where my problem w/ Vanguard As engineer, running debuggers, memory profilers, & CLI tools ...

    @riotgames Cheaters are a problem, I get that I've never touched Vanguard because I care about my security and even if I played normally, your anticheat sits at Ring 0, which is a breach of security What you're doing to "own the cheaters" is scaring legit players **** off

    @Maltyversee @V4RSTAPP4N @riotgames Vanguard used to blue screen me (it would show as the cause in the error) when I launched other games until i got rid of it.

    @riotgames DMA **** is a bussines (montly subscriptions), do you think cheaters, and specially cheat providers will stop with it? Those things have always a fix while people still pay the subscription.

    @crash @riotgames Genuinely put your ***** on the hottest waffle iron on this planet. I don't condone cheating but I also don't condone blowing up someone's PC cuz your anti-cheat "suspects" cheating. Vanguard literally ***** your PC sideways and spits on you afterwards. GET A GRIP.

    I hope every single game does what @riotgames just did. The amount of third party devices people use. Cronus all that bullshit has ruined most games. **** the cheaters. If you see people complaining online you know they are part of the problem

    @Olley83513831 @crash @riotgames Basically every modern component in your pc use DMA and is compatible with IOMMU, guess why DMA cards that are used to cheating only causes issues. Because they are trying to access memory they are not supposed to. That's why its blocked, its not new tech.

    @riotgames @RiotSupport I am a legit player and I am playing valorant only newly built PC and I am seeing minor stutters on my machine. I tried diagnosing but still the issue persisted. I have log files generated and it says some hypervisor issue. Please help I can share logs too!!

    @sickratzzz @MugsTV @riotgames It doesnt brick anything, the worst it can happen if you spend 5k on a dma setup to CHEAT, is a blue screen caused by repeated attempts of illegal memory access blocked by iommu from the dma ,which windows will treat as faulty hardware and crash. That literally it

    @gonggavirgo @RiotSupport me and a friend got tired of waiting and figured it out ourselves yesterday. The real issue is that not everyone has the technical knowledge to do this, and Valorant support being completely unresponsive for weeks doesn't help. Do better @RiotSupport
