  @knifewoman6 @CheeseGalaxy3 @riotgames Yes, they are permanent changes to your OS. Vanguard alters WIndows in a way that causes the DMA card to not function at all if you have IOMMU turned on. This persists even after you uninstall all Riot software. The only way to fix it is to reinstall the OS.

  @H8Dustin @tonkotsunate @riotgames You're ******* retarded Dustin. When vanguard first came out I was bsod'ing constantly trying to play League. It took the collective support of 3 different rioters and 2 weeks worth of tickets to get the issue solved.

  @GorgonsGrimoire @riotgames The factthat to fix this people have to clean install the OS back=illegal.Since most dont have back up of their pc thus losing all you files.They say go in the bios,disactive that,they dont realise 3/4 of poeple with pc dont know how Bios work.They shouldnt disable themselve btw.

  @gonggavirgo @RiotSupport me and a friend got tired of waiting and figured it out ourselves yesterday. The real issue is that not everyone has the technical knowledge to do this, and Valorant support being completely unresponsive for weeks doesn't help. Do better @RiotSupport

  @Rowojon @riotgames If you understand better what’s going on then you should be able to explain it. Do not think you can hand wave this away. A direct memory access card reads from the instructions to mirror parts of main memory which contain Valorant instructions (copyrighted) and memory. The Riot software issues instructions to Windows IOMMU which disable the DMA devices for all operations. This exceeds the scope of their interests (the Valorant code and memory space). DMA devices used only for legitimate purposes may have a cause for action. The civil standard of evidence most likely leans in Riot’s favor, and the harms are not irreparable.

  @Stoobiedooda @GamersPrey @riotgames They never did anything to my equiptment, i wasnt banned by any anti cheat ever. I would love for all cheaters to go to jail or be fined like in south korea since 2017 but thw government doest care so companies have to fight it. Funfact since the law cheating drastically reduced in south korea. Also all they did was make it so that you cannot use the hardware that is made solely to cheat in valorant, to cheat unless you disable the memory read thing. The devices arent broken they just dont work if you have that memory read thing enabled which all riot titles have to have to be able to play them. Again nothing is broken

  @DonkFast @riotgames What? Do you even know what DMA is? Assuming all PCI-E Devices are DMA is like saying all apples are apple juice by default because you failed elementary school. Kernel DMA Memory Protection can't kill devices, but they can crash if they keep trying to access protected code.

  @wrquickmaths @riotgames No, bus, it's a process inherent to your computer that's supposed to protect you. You using the cheat system puts pressure on that, which is what causes those errors and hardware faults. You did this to yourself by using the hardware in an intended manner.

  @Grunt2A @riotgames That is exactly what theyre going for finally someone gets it.If they have no trouble banning ur acc w thousands of dollars of purchases,breaking most peoplesPCs is actually less of a loss. Modern day slaves will defend anything which is why were heading towards worldwide tyranny
