The Flying Toaster(commissions Open!) (@infinity_king) reported
@HighImShadow @AzurenGames @monsterhunter Basically he's being pissy at his own problem and wants us to know.
-
Loyal Vex (@WolfieSavageSSS) reported
@kataclysmic_atk @monsterhunter Because they suck at their job. Plus minecraft has crossplay I don't see the issue.
-
Saz (@Saz_2604) reported
@monsterhunter This is pretty stupid, fair enough if there issues but games like Witcher 3 have cross save, Nintendo allows cross-play without royalties unlike Sony, people will say its the framerate but look at rocket league which has cross play on everything including switch which runs worse.
-
Daquen King (@DaquenK) reported
@Viexi_ @monsterhunter The problem is transferring save data from Nintendo switch to pc
-
Airah Shunken, Your Host.🍾Twitch Affiliate. (@AirahShunken) reported
@PsychoIntent @TheOuterOnes @monsterhunter and those other games may have different negotiations going on. Unless you work at either company's legal team to disprove this idea then "legal issues" seems most plausible.
-
「Active Threat」 (@S_Tiger_) reported
@monsterhunter If Microsoft can strike a deal for cross platform play and save data, Capcom shouldn't have any problem with managing cross-save data.
-
Thrinity (@ThriniT) reported
@AHire4630 @monsterhunter Completely disagreed. Transparency is everything. It puts an early end to false hopes and speculation. Being Nintendo consumers, which I assume many of us are because currently MHR is only on Switch, we know the issue with lack of transparency.

Akmal Maulana Azzam (@RealAkmalAzzam) reported
@Pandiviss @PowerShockX @monsterhunter how do you know that they can't implement it before asking in the survey ? i am 100% sure that they can add it if they put it in their survey they probably got taken down because of licensing issue or someone higher up asked to not do it in the last minute
-
Mick Oli (@Quirkynary) reported
@monsterhunter Absolute bullshit. Pretty sure this is a won't do it issue and not a can't at this point.
-
Stifran (@stifran_is_you) reported
@Viexi_ @monsterhunter Nintendo servers. Thats it. Thats the problem.
-
Dave (@joemesh2154) reported
@monsterhunter Translation: "We refuse to implement it because PC players with mods and trainers will disrupt the Switch version. But when we release the live service, always online Monster Hunter World 2, we'll consider it."
-
Slaking 🇮🇪 (@Slaking__) reported
@pomfpomfisla @Viexi_ @monsterhunter That's not the issue either. The issue is that Nintendo has to agree to let them port the save data over, and if Nintendo said no (which is most likely what happened), then they just can't do it. In other words, Nintendo ratfucking their own consumers again who'd have thought?
-
Conditioner Gordon (@gordon_schaper) reported
@Viexi_ @monsterhunter Not 100% related to MoHu but save and Server struktures could be a problem If Cross save wasn't a point building it. For example the servers are the thing that blocks Overwatch from having Crosssave
-
An Abandoned Red Lobster (@LobsterMatsuri) reported
@monsterhunter But it's almost certainly not a software issue, but an operations issue with Nintendo. You could never come out and say that, but it's just massively disappointing as fans to deal with Nintendo's archaic systems, let alone have to create a product with them.

Kliffsly (requests closed) (@Kliffsly_) reported
@AzurenGames @monsterhunter Look man it's nobody's problem that you think just buying a switch will make you less of a "gamer" and that it's just a bootleg iPad or something. No one wants to hear you cry because it's not on Xbox or something. Go be an *** in a cod lobby or something no one wants you here
