Both ports of the game have the same issue, its not just Xbox/pc, console players can't even play with their own friends. Totally doesn't have to do with the fact it's a broken mechanic of the game. Just a "glitch"

@HetzersgonaHetz @Vanat6 @monsterhunter Never had that issue, I only remember a couple cutscenes where it’s used and I didn’t give a ****. I really loved being able to (somewhat) realistically grapple onto the bugs and also the environment interactions and easy stuns with it made the gameplay more fun for me

@DerpyMudkip2 @Stardazzle220 @monsterhunter No, it's not a glitch, it's bad programming. Restarted the game, have been in multiple lobbies and tried it with multiple friends. I'm not the only one with this problem. They DID choose to not test multiplayer matchmaking and DID choose to release the game in a broken state.

@Sly76152351 @monsterhunter There isn't an issue with the engine rise runs on, it runs on the RE engine, which is what re2 and village run on, great look games. It looks worse than world because it was scaled down to run on switch

@Noneleftlive1 @monsterhunter Calm down.. the game just released, obviously it'll have bugs on day 1. Just report to them and they'll fix it on the next update. When they gather a few bugs they'll release update to fix all at once.

@1Moltenfire @monsterhunter Here's the problem, those quests are nowhere near as hard as this one, and usually those types of insane quests such as in World where you had Arch Tempered Elders, you'd have new armor or skins to play for. The same with X Ultimate. Titles are WoW era stuff nobody cares for

@kerosene_tears @monsterhunter If I take 20 min to hunt an afflicted monster and 2 other high tier monsters that generally come with the quest it's my problem Better yet god forbid I'm trying to play for fun and am trying something new so I'm inefficient Clearly the problem here is me
