@monsterhunter We want performance, PERFORMANCE, the game has only gotten worse, less vram usage is not the problem is the goddamn textures that cost the performance issues, the game loads constantly stuff, because compressing process is ***, just make the file bigger and be done with it.

@monsterhunter For me, all monsters should be given buffs (except gore), they are predictable, fall easily and are also very susceptible to any elemental weapon, apart from the main problem which is poor resistance to wounds.

@monsterhunter Switch DirectStorage to use the GPU instead of the CPU. It’ll go a long way towards fixing performance issues on PC.

@monsterhunter But will my game crash as soon as I load into it? How did your team not address this AT ALL at the Capcom showcase? You have an OVERWHELMINGLY NEGATIVE rating on Steam. Thats legendary. None of this content matters if I can't load the game, and I built a PC to run this game!

@KannasDisguise @monsterhunter Because they have too, it’s not their fault. I’m not saying the frustration isn’t valid, the problem is where you’re placing it, It’s Capcom and shareholders that released the game in its state, the devs are trying to clean up the mess these people made

@monsterhunter Out of topic, Performance and Optimization aside (which is not a problem for me on Ps5), A bigger problem is the lack of content, is it how difficult to make TUs faster or bigger? Or would there be a solution content that'd ladt longer?

@HalifaxVual @monsterhunter It's literally in this thread if you read it. VRAM and shader caching issues were causing a lot of the issues.

The droprates of the monster parts aren't something they can fix anymore at least until grank comes out so they have to give us a system for a goal to strive for. I'd rather have more rng than absolutely no content any day

@StormriderArt @monsterhunter World was more challenging in low/high rank than that, and GRank in Wilds is going to be a big joke, the only thing that can kill you is the optimisation of the game or the lag input with frame generation

@monsterhunter Could we get fixes to graphical settings seemingly being broken as well? (Performance fixes come first of course, but fixing graphic bugs probably will help performance and improve visuals?) Stuff like Ray Tracing is busted in the Grand Hub for example? And the BVH is very wonky

@monsterhunter I think the main problem is not the VRAM but the CPU usage which is insane, this is the only game that makes my CPU stay on 90% usage most of the time, we need that optimized ASAP.

@Brandon08020705 @monsterhunter At the end of the day, performance is being treated like a patch of content. You don't announce fix bugs/perf and mask it like a content update. That's just bad business, regardless of who's pushing it. I love monster hunter but they need to do better.
