Theres this MrMeatMan dude on youtube, he made this 4 hour deep dive into the numbers and figured out that most of the MH playerbase, now, has only played Iceborne after it was already done its live service and complete.

@BrandonEroza @monsterhunter besides it's not like many do letter LIVE, so yeah mh gets prerecorded messages and some lip service on twitter, you get LIVE segments where he has answered to chat several times. Really....the level of entitlement from the XIV community is INSANE

@monsterhunter Will we be able to register our layered weapons to armor sets? If not, this will be another Sunbreak TU2 situation where you “fix” it in the next update with Hunter Loadouts.

@monsterhunter Are you guys trying to be stupid? Performance problem with this Engine is that CPU usage is very bad, causing bottlenecks. That's why you guys have to specify that framegen is used to boost framerate instead of optimizing it. I don't see you mentioning any fixes for CPU usage.

@RemediMax @monsterhunter Yes, they are more open to criticism and how to improve, that's why they created the guild reports, meanwhile ffxiv does not communicate how they are progressing in terms of problems or requests from the community.

@ItsHawx @FrostDrakeHeart @monsterhunter its better imo when they require a specific part to be broken, like rathalos tail or anjanaths nosebone. reward players for persistently chasing the desired materials, just locking it behind 1% rng SUCKS. players will quit after too many hunts with no reward.

@monsterhunter Great you at least are addressing the issues. We'll see if this improves things or not. Performance on high end cards with 16gb of VRAM is just unacceptable at present.

@ZweiH22 @NecrosisOdium @monsterhunter When your "critique" is WILDS isnt as hard as an expansion, youre not very bright. AT Rey Dau, is better than anything in Iceborne for Arch Temps. The first in the base game, not the last in the expansion after waiting years. Its not the devs problem you dont know what fun is

@monsterhunter Hopefully we see some optimizations on the CPU side of things sooner rather than later. All these updates have been VRAM related when there’s far more issues than just that.

@monsterhunter The issue plaguing MH Wilds, like Dragon's Dogma 2 is a CPU issue much more than it is a GPU issue. it was ignored with Dragon's Dogma 2 and I question if Capcom will address it despite everyone snapping at their heels about yet another poorly optimized game.
