@nypost Disney and Netflix have the same problem, they stopped trying to entertain people and instead became soundboards for woketards.

    reapermonkey (@rprmnky) reported

@disclosetv Let us not all forget how gradually terrible Netflix has become in terms of variety of content too. It used to be that everything you wanted to watch was on Netflix but now you have Hulu, Disney+, Apple TV, etc. Netflix may have been on a downward spiral already.

  • NatieEna
    Natalie Ena (@NatieEna) reported

The only reason people are cancelling their @Netflix subscriptions is because they keep raising the monthly rates. When it was a cool $7/month there was no problem.

@pbump Netflix was in trouble as soon as the companies whose voluminous libraries it was licensing realized they could just make their own apps. But Netflix has made its situation worse by going with a quantity-not-quality approach to building its own library, IMO.

@SaurabhRauniyar @randomvichar @DharmaMovies I didn't disagree with that. Just saying they got it as part of a much larger deal. India is a huge market but Netflix business model and price points wont work there. They need to start bidding on IPL which they have said they wont bid on sports and would need to cut prices.

  • seanschuerman

@daveweigel Netflix is the definition of quantity over quality at this point. HBO is by far the most consistent service in terms of quality imo.

  • nomad122

@ParikPatelCFA Lol…the problem is they don’t watch Netflix. Disney+ Hotstar is making great progress in the same market

  • layla_job

Netflix attributed the 200000 drop in subscribers to factors like price increases and password sharing.Password sharing? You ******* don’t understand its the COMPETITION! Us sharing passwords is not the issue, it’s your dumb *** content that we don’t care for, we go elsewhere now

  • jamesExiledLedg
    James 💉💉💉 (@jamesExiledLedg) reported

.@MrLeslieRoberts the problem with netflix is they cancel shows after a season or 2 so hard to get invested in watching a series. There are now other streaming services, which at this point we are just slowly reinventing cable due to exclusivity rights.Sprinkle ads in and it's TV

  • Capt3958
    Kelmac (@Capt3958) reported

@pbump The quality of Netflix content hasn’t kept up with the price increases. If it were cheaper people would keep it as an alternative but they’ve priced themselves out for what they are offering relative to other streaming services.

  • EVApilot011
    Tymothy Henry (@EVApilot011) reported

@vicious696 I'm not saying they haven't had issues with content, but everyone keeps dodging the first issue. Without nextflix, none of this competition exists. They proved that old content has value, so everyone ripped it back screwed Netflix over and laugh while Netflix falters.

  • HockeydadNYC
    IU_BTOWN_CHICAGO (@HockeydadNYC) reported

@ABC How is this going to work? I travel a lot and have two homes. I have six devices using my Netflix app. I shouldn’t have to pay for more subscriptions due to this.

  • scottyb972
    Isle of Dogs (@scottyb972) reported

@GottaLaff @netflix needs to lower prices, and go back to being a clearinghouse for other people’s content. For the most part, their “original” content is awful because it’s niche entertainment that tries to please everyone, while pleasing no one.

  • jaaydee84
    Justin (@jaaydee84) reported

@ClayTravis To me this is a simple issue. Supply and demand. There are a ton of streaming services now and Netflix seems to think constant price increases are a sustainable model. Netflix has priced themselves out of the market with hardly any must watch programming.

  • ranjanxroy
    Ranjan (@ranjanxroy) reported

Netflix got spoiled with ability to make tens of millions of people watch something with big names + prominent home screen placement, completely regardless of quality.
