I feel like we should call what we are seeing happen with Netflix the "Cable Convergence." As you're all aware "Cable" was originally sold as having high quality programming with no ads, as opposed to free TV with ads. Then as cable swallowed free TV, ads showed up on cable.

Held off watching #Blonde on Netflix… I should’ve kept on holding off. This movie is terrible. Seems like they recreated snapshot moments to perfectly mirror real images of her for the internet but really it’s just exploitive, unnecessarily grotesque, traumatic & triggering

Anyone else watching Coroner on Netflix? It’s pandering, the acting is terrible, the plots are full of holes, but I just can’t stop watching it!

@rip_cinema A lotta alien 3 defense in here but is Mank actually a bad film? I don't mean average, flawed, or a bit self indulgent, but actually bad? It's not his best work but I'd still watch it again over anything else Netflix has spat out recently

@lizziescoven_ I’ve been sweating this dude since he was on Arrow. And then on Rupaul’s horrible Netflix show, of which he was the only redeeming quality (besides the other queens) but he’s so hot in that show, in a gold chain tank top kind of way.

@gv49ers Yes. I went to YouTubeTV (Google) and Xfinity internet (still faster ... but to be honest 300 kbs is all you need even for gaming and TV, so ATT/others work fine; "gig" is a waste.) Get Peacock free and my son has Netflix and Hula. I saved $40 a month and have more channels.
