SpongeBob (@Jack_the_westi) reported@TBanton18 @Microsoft @Outlook I had the same problem a while ago, absolutely impossible to speak to a human at Microsoft to get support, finally I switched to Gmail, caused a lot of disruption because my old Hotmail is used to verify loads of passwords, annoyingly I keep getting reminders to log into Hotmail

I had to install the Outlook app on iOS and go through the “forgot password” process there. Somehow the verification (robot test) worked there, and I was finally able to reset my password. This just shows how broken the system is — the same process didn’t work anywhere else. Also, Microsoft’s support is even worse than the system itself. No real help, no human support, just useless automated responses. This experience was extremely frustrating.
