@Outlook "This is a known issue with IMAP accounts. The change (read state) needs to sync with the server before you can move it, which only takes a split second, but outlook keeps a hold on the message until you switch messages." 4 years ago. Not fixed yet. But thanks for the answer.

Well @Outlook we are making slow but sure progress I guess. Upgraded to 2019 and now no more beach-ball pauses, but the outbox gets flustered and likes to complain for hours about not being able to send. Checked around, this is happening to a lot of people.

@Outlook at 10amCST my email glitched and is not working. When I compose a new email it is tracking all changes as I type and the top bar is gray. I am unable to change font, make bullet points, etc. My emails look VERY unprofessional.

@Outlook is the worst Mail service that i have ever seen. They locked my mail for literally no reason and when I tried to unlock it, they send a code to my number that never came and have to WAIT 24 HOURS just to try it again! Oh and talking to support only possible via sign in!

@Microsoft @Outlook I am unable to login into my account for which I had setup 2 factor ms auth. I recently formatted my phone and forgot to take the backup. It doesn't show any other way to recover the account! Can you please help?

Doing some googling it seems a lot of people have trouble sending simple emails to their friends and family on #hotmail (@Outlook). It'd be okay if hotmail would report back that it wasn't delivered, but it doesn't. It's a void.
