@SinisterPixeLP @Kyrpjooseppi6 @OverwatchEU >Overwatch team makes a change that really doesn't do anything and people are annoyed that the character's name is getting changed >"Don't criticize them for the decision, criticize the higher-ups since they are the ones that can solve the original problem" >????

so if alot of u dont know this but i played Overwatch for years and with them saying that they are changing MCcree's name in overwatch because someone that worked at blizzard had the name mccree isnt going to fix anything or put there names off of this **** thats going on

todd howard is real and he tried to suck my ****
(@gayspacegulag) reported
there's something slightly amusing to me about overwatch being a total shitshow because it seems even a broken piece of **** like TF2 still had more staying power just from raw charm and mechanics

overwatch should make mccree come out as trans and then her name could be Jessie McCree there. problem done. same name but not same name.

@VoicesByZane I said it in their response, but I feel itd be easier to just say his name is based on a combo of Mad Dog Mcree and Jesse James. And then just fire the employee and fix their internal problems. Just like dropping overwatch 2, making changes does not fix mistakes

@Grummz Whoever didn't believe you on this was blinded by brand loyalty, "inclusivity", or money. From a players perspective it was obvious that the balancing issues spelled doom for the Overwatch eSports scene.

@OverwatchEU I think this is a problem, thats not as important as other Problems of Overwatch and Blizzard itself. Something i was more hoping of, as i heard the Headline of the Post, was something about the sudden and sad Death of Mercys Voice-Actor...

@PlayOverwatch I'm pretty sure most people can understand that the Jessie McCree in Overwatch is not the same ******* at Blizzard - but hey, rewrite his name. That'll certainly fix the problem, right? Real talk, how many people even KNEW McCree was named after the guy?

(@SinisterPixeLP) reported
@Kyrpjooseppi6 @OverwatchEU Blizzard do need to do more about the real problem but you're addressing the wrong people. The Overwatch team is just that. A team working on Overwatch. For changes to the business as a whole, these need to be addressed far further up. There's literally 0 reason to be mad at this

@IceTheDemon @PlagueOfGripes The Overwatch dev team can't change the issues, they're not Blizzard's higher ups

@apex_intel Welcome to the return of overwatch G.O.A.T meta problem in apex "Wallhack meta" nerfing everything till the players stop playing the meta entirely...

Sinister Pixel
(@SinisterPixeLP) reported
@OverwatchEU Remember people: the Overwatch team are just the team working on one single project. They don't have the power to address the issues within Blizzard as a whole. This isn't disingenuous or a PR stunt. It's one team doing what they can. You need to address your complaints higher up

@OxygenDota @Aui_2000 im not really sure where youre going with this but comparing dota to overwatch seems like a crime. also, whats the problem on not being toxic on stream lmao. we live in a modern age where accountability should be upheld.

@MOOMANiBE Wasn't it a decision from the Overwatch team anyway, and not management at Blizzard? I.e. Not a decision from anyone directly involved in the ongoing issues

@MoralNitro OW is distancing themselves from Blizzard's mess because what Blizzard is responsible for isn't what Overwatch means to a lot of people. It is also an issue the OW team cares about. Women that have worked on that team at come forward and said they were lucky to work on that team.
