@vicious696 Still wonder why more wasn't made of PlayStation Now – the service is technically already *there* but it needs repackaging

  • BenjiSales

Worth noting this report doesn't mention anything about PlayStation Studios Games releasing Day 1 on the service (the main draw of Game Pass is Day 1 Xbox games) Doesn't mean we won't see any. I think it's possible multiplayer focused games will. But for now no mention of it

@jasonschreier I wonder why not just upgrade PlayStation Now instead of making a new subscription service that merges Now and Plus as an option

  • AstorAstari
    astor (@AstorAstari) reported

I presume if playstation do it like that, don't think there will be any news for any persona remaster I guess? And they said to expect the service in spring, not that long to wait

And what the library is will really determine how many PS4 and PS5 owners buy this. I would be genuinely shocked if PlayStation includes first-party games the day they launch as part of the subscription service. Big 3rd party support & past exclusives will likely be a big focus.

  • jasonschreier
    Jason Schreier (@jasonschreier) reported

This new service, expected in the spring, will likely retain the "PlayStation Plus" branding. Don't expect Sony to include its big new games day one like Game Pass does, but the expectation is a stronger offering than PlayStation Now

@PlayStation would you by any chance know when the next exclusive event to buy a PS5 will take place? as the last one which was yesterday got cancelled due to technical issues. Thanks!

For this new service to be good for Sony and PlayStation this Id say are some things they need - Day One Exclusives on the service like Game Pass (ex. Forza) - Download Classic Games not have to stream them like PS Now - PC Version with Cross Play - Actually affordable for 3 tier

  • ChrisVillareal1
    Christian Villareal (@ChrisVillareal1) reported

@JackTweets44 I might expect that it will be as a global service since PlayStation is recognizable worldwide.

@jasonschreier @Nibellion THE GUYS WANT ONE DAY HFW OR SOMETHING SO LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GamePass unprofitable today while the PlayStation division makes millions selling their games, giving them away for free on a subscription service is simply impossible.
