👀 🇺🇸 Casual Observer (@classicdawn) reported@ring And you're another example of why AI canNOT replace us. The support bot ends the convo without any resolution! Your customer service is the WORST!
-
MaryWV (@MaryWVwv) reported@amazon @ring Why? Why in trying to get help did I receive 2 people that did not understand ENGLISH! Do any of them? What Countries are they from? So I'm Hammond, I'm sure he loves me using his account! Or is he using mine? If I add a credit card it goes to him? Is this a scam?

Ken Martin (@kenmartinboston) reported.@ring customer support is gone right down the toilet after dealing with massive language barriers I’m on my third return 🤦🏻 they just can’t get it right I think their plan is to drive the customer crazy until they give up. @amazon you have ruined them

Luis Carro-something (@BigMouthLouu) reportedStock Down 📉: @ring cameras, spotted a bear at 4AM . Didn’t catch 15 other motions yesterday (mainly vehicular). Sucks when a huge corporation buys an incredible product and turns it to mush with outsourced customer service. #cestlavie

Marcel Wagenaar (@marcelwagenaar) reported@ring is there a malfunction? Can’t log in and my system is offline. #ring #ringalarm

Jeremiah (@TotalRecall9) reported@amazon @ring I'd say it's staged because.. 1) It's not hot as hell. 2) He's not rushing around on an overburdened route. 3) He has time enough to fix the flag but not a couple of seconds to walk on the sidewalk? Amazon posts this, but they treat their delivery drivers like expendable crap!
-
Nanabozho (@SaltyRiverWater) reportedMan, @USPS has a serious problem. I mailed a sealed box of cards back in April. Box was never scanned so I opened up a Missing Mail Search. Yesterday, after 6 weeks, I get a notification that it was delivered. Reached out to the buyer and let him know. Buyer provided @ring video showing that no delivery was made. @USPS where did this package end up?

Shane Marshall (@semarshall2007) reportedPiece of **** @ring can’t event ******* record any ******* thing worth using unless it’s for there ******* use.
-
Jdxma17 (@Pencilart17) reported@ring You have the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Been waiting since early Feb for replacement motion detector because they are supposedly "out of stock." What BULLSHIT! I'll never buy another Ring product. It's garbage.
-
bando (@bandonationbank) reported@ring created & implemented movement detection / facial rec using AI to notify you in real time via push notif. ie: “person walking by front door” or “armed man holding weapon trying to break in.” & Ring was like, yeah…. we gon charge extra for this ****. pay more. more safe

MaryWV (@MaryWVwv) reported@amazon @ring Amazon needs to fix this absolutely crazy huge blunder! Do you need a dictionary?

~sarlev (e/acc) (@sarlev_) reported@rahul the problem people have with flock (and other megacorp surveillance systems, like @ring being used by police departments), is the massive network effects and the scale and nature of surveillance that arises out of that. sure, this is also why you guys are funded by @a16z and venture capital, but forcing these kinds of product features at a regulatory level actually makes it so smaller upstarts cannot break into the market and have alternative solutions to people’s privacy fears. of course, you guys and other incumbents know this. for example, i would be ok for select cameras in my locality that are actually fully accessible to any fellow citizen resident. there is no expectation of privacy in a public place, but for a community to actually adjudicate if they want cameras, they should have access to them and to the user experience of the surveillance operators. no audit logs, just everyone has access at all times. and then the community makes a decision at that point to say, ‘where do we actually want to have constant surveillance that is in the interest and aligned with the values of our community’
