Chris Andrews (@crandrews631) reported@ring you have the worst logistics department out there. I placed an order on 7/22 with an arrives by 7/28 and nothing. I wait on hold to be told hopefully by 8/10 but no guarantee yet I can order it today on your site and it says “Arrives 8/8” and no one is willing to do ****!
-
Dan Spack (@DanieltheLion1) reported@ring Though the signal strength is still poor, it seems the Spotlight Cam is not discounting from the WiFi as much as before the extender was installed. It was explained to me previously that was a primary issue for the fast battery drain. I’ll send a DM. Thanks.
-
bagel (@louhastie) reported@ring can you give me an email address so I can speak to someone please, not impressed with your customer service 😡 I can’t resolve my issue despite 5 phone calls, they kept getting disconnected by you
-
← Sum'n Else 🇹🇹🇯🇲 (@CreatedToBHated) reported@ring I did. Your agent told me I have to wait a week for y'all to do anything about an issue that's reoccurring and happening right now
-
Jeremy Abreu (@jeremyabreu) reported@ring is your app down? Won’t open for me or update
-
Hailey 🗡️ HEAL THE WORLD #1 FAN (@mori_must_die) reported@fangpuppy666 @ring they have bad morals but shoutout to ******** as a whole for being so good at handiwork bc i have 3 screwdrivers and a wrench and a hammer and a measuring tape and I can’t even build ikea furniture by myself
-
Crazed Dems 🇺🇸 (@FreedomAlways9) reported@ring How do I turn off this completely useless AI ****? Giving you a long description of what you're literally seeing with your eyes? Completely useless but everyone has to try to implement AI in some fashion to show how up to date they are
-
Jdxma17 (@Pencilart17) reported@ring You have the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Been waiting since early Feb for replacement motion detector because they are supposedly "out of stock." What BULLSHIT! I'll never buy another Ring product. It's garbage.
-
Geo_Traveler (@GTCMaverick) reported@therealDeFlock @ring @HomeDepot If it’s on private property and not owned by a government entity I have less of a problem with it since it is protecting private property. If on public property and “owned” by a city, county, etc. it is a violation of my rights and shouldn’t exist.
-
Jessi Laurèn (@PBM_Pretty) reported@YaBoyHagg @ring I thought it was just me !!!! I hate that what if it goes down the day yall wanna bs with my damn security system it’s insane !!!!
-
Jewel S (@jewels_my) reported@ring Oh I’m sorry. You need to fix it on your side. Mine is perfect on this side. Hard wired is great for that. Any more excuses? You have messed with settings also. I took pets off my settings and now they are back on there. How dare you! So many things wrong with #ring not again.😩
-
CMurphyGolf (@FixUrBallMark) reported@AlecBurnsGolf @ring Had a similar issue - QR code stated that the camera had already been issued to another person.
-
Strewth ❤️🤍🖤 (@Strewth10) reported@ring Hi Australian here. You’re advertising here. Bad idea. We know you. Zero chance of installing your spyware here. And if I see a friend with your stuff I’ll tell them what you do.
-
GOPmom (@lisadolgos) reported@ring worst customer service. Spent over $500 on cameras and a doorbell. I never received the doorbell, even though UPS says it was delivered. Spent an hour on the phone to get them to agree to send a replacement. Have yet to receive it.
-
Startup Academy (@vc__backed) reportedThe story of Ring and Jamie Siminoff is one of the best examples of waiting for the right moment. Jamie was able to sell Ring for $1.2 billion to Amazon, but first he had to turn down an offer from Shark Tank. "Kevin O'Leary gives me this offer, which was it just going to bankrupt the business. It was like royalties and all this stuff. Like we needed to build something bigger." - @ring Founder, @JamieSiminoff on @The_RoomPodcast
-
Jeremiah (@TotalRecall9) reported@amazon @ring I'd say it's staged because.. 1) It's not hot as hell. 2) He's not rushing around on an overburdened route. 3) He has time enough to fix the flag but not a couple of seconds to walk on the sidewalk? Amazon posts this, but they treat their delivery drivers like expendable crap!
-
James Landrum (no relation) (@JamesRLandrum) reported@FedExHelp No I just want both drivers to arrive at the same time and throw down in front of my @ring camera
-
👀 🇺🇸 Casual Observer (@classicdawn) reported@ring And you're another example of why AI canNOT replace us. The support bot ends the convo without any resolution! Your customer service is the WORST!
-
Ken Martin (@kenmartinboston) reported.@ring customer support is gone right down the toilet after dealing with massive language barriers I’m on my third return 🤦🏻 they just can’t get it right I think their plan is to drive the customer crazy until they give up. @amazon you have ruined them
-
Timothy Royer (@Be_BereanTX) reported@therealDeFlock @ring @HomeDepot Well, if it had an automated pepper ball gun or hi flow pepper spray with it, I could see it, but the Thugs could have that thing torn down and carried away before any live security guard could get there.
-
Rob Wilkens (@Rob_D_Wilkens) reported@ring Okay - There was a lot going on yesterday and I was frustrated - I apologize for my reaciton - however, I resolved the issue by setting up a VPN. Without the VPN (using AT&T's wireless home internet service) it was failing,. Solved.
-
Tom Reader (@thomasFreader) reported@AlecBurnsGolf @ring Sometimes things go wrong, nobody is immune from system errors. How they respond in problem solving is the point at which disappointment might be justified.
-
SoCalSquatter (@RealAlexT1) reportedHas anybody ever noticed that @amazon deliveries don’t show up on your @Ring? They won’t ring the bell and somehow black out your camera…wtf @amazon ?
-
Words of Wiz Dumb (@Michael07369542) reportedWTF @amazon Keep pushing back and pushing back delivery on a simple @ring doorbell. As I said @Lowes had them IN STOCK AT SAME PRICE AND SCAM "PRIME DAYS"!!
-
Jesus (@benjohnson4prez) reportedI just realized @ring pushed out some AI bullshit for a free month, without me saying yes to it. There's no way to cancel it unless you cancel the service. Congrats ring, service cancelled. Next time ask us if we want that ******* **** pushed on our cameras. ********!
-
Mikey! (@comrademikey) reported@ring Hi. I changed my phone number now I'm completely locked out of my account. I'm based in the UK so the advice on your help page is not relevant.
-
ØBANA (@StephenObana) reported@ring doorbell was denied by all of the sharks on #sharktank during its pitch episode, in 2018 it sold to Amazon for $1billion dollars. Gate keepers aren’t ****, never give up.
-
~sarlev (e/acc) (@sarlev_) reported@rahul the problem people have with flock (and other megacorp surveillance systems, like @ring being used by police departments), is the massive network effects and the scale and nature of surveillance that arises out of that. sure, this is also why you guys are funded by @a16z and venture capital, but forcing these kinds of product features at a regulatory level actually makes it so smaller upstarts cannot break into the market and have alternative solutions to people’s privacy fears. of course, you guys and other incumbents know this. for example, i would be ok for select cameras in my locality that are actually fully accessible to any fellow citizen resident. there is no expectation of privacy in a public place, but for a community to actually adjudicate if they want cameras, they should have access to them and to the user experience of the surveillance operators. no audit logs, just everyone has access at all times. and then the community makes a decision at that point to say, ‘where do we actually want to have constant surveillance that is in the interest and aligned with the values of our community’
-
Laura Waller (@MamaWaller85) reported@ring is there a current issue as my device has been offline all day and no problem with WiFi
-
Dorian Finney-Smith Muse (@DorianMuse) reported@note4note @amazon @ring Same thing happens to me all the time. Amazon needs to fix this major problem.
