Dan Spack (@DanieltheLion1) reported@ring Though the signal strength is still poor, it seems the Spotlight Cam is not discounting from the WiFi as much as before the extender was installed. It was explained to me previously that was a primary issue for the fast battery drain. I’ll send a DM. Thanks.

🐈⬛ (@politicaIicious) reported@ring Victims of anti-social neighbours, quietly, sit tight, as the legal wheels turn slowly via courts. Advised not to tip the nod to ongoing proceedings. Nightmare neighbours remain oblivious to court applications. Meanwhile, stupidly, continue their campaign of harassment & abuse.

James 🌐 (@james_almeida) reportedBe careful ordering AI gear from @Amazon I ordered 2 DGX Sparks. The package arrived opened, items stolen, and boxes re-taped. My @Ring camera only captured a single frame of the delivery guy. He clearly knew what he was doing: stole $10k of AI gear and tampered with the camera so it shut off during the drop-off. How was thing not a package that requires a signature? Also it should have been Fedex or UPS. I reached out to Amazon support and now I have to wait 5 days for them to tell me what's going to happen. I'm without the gear I paid for and it's not clear I'm getting a refund. WTF @Amazon ?

Helen D (@Helen_D_Snow) reported@amazon @ring I am writing to request assistance with a long-standing technical issue affecting my Amazon account. For several months (possibly close to a year), I have been completely unable to use the Customer Service Chat feature. Every time I attempt to start a chat, I receive the following error message: “Sorry, it looks like we hit a snag. Please select Try chat again. If you see this message again, you can try another help option.” This problem occurs consistently: On every order, not just a specific one. In the Amazon mobile app. Repeatedly over many months. Selecting “Try chat again” never resolves the issue. Because this has persisted for such a long time, I believe it may be related to my account or a backend technical issue rather than a temporary system error. The inability to use Customer Service Chat has made it very difficult for me to contact Amazon whenever I need assistance. I would greatly appreciate it if your technical team could investigate my account and restore my access to the Chat service. I have already contacted Customer Service multiple times regarding this issue. Unfortunately, the problem has never been resolved, so I am reaching out to your Executive Customer Relations team in the hope that it can be investigated by the appropriate technical team. If any additional information, screenshots, or account details are needed, I would be happy to provide them. Thank you very much for your time and assistance. I have always appreciated Amazon’s customer service and hope this issue can be resolved. Attached is a screenshot of the error message for your reference.

Kentucky Girl (@Notwokenow) reported@AngieJandro @ring I was in my bedroom and the phone went off- there was a message saying a delivery from Amazon was left at the door AND then I check the video and there it was, the driver was putting another package down. This is AWESOME.
-
BarbP (@bp30045) reportedDisappointed in @ring My monitoring subscription is doubling because of a ton of features I don’t want or need. And my previous plan which was perfect for me and fairly priced has been stripped down to not even include camera recording OR professional monitoring.
-
Leo (@Leonajardinho) reported@Jouler8 @ring Paying $200 a year just to access footage captured by hardware you already paid for is bad enough. Adding opaque corporate content moderation on top proves Ring is selling control, not security.
-
Words of Wiz Dumb (@Michael07369542) reportedWTF @amazon Keep pushing back and pushing back delivery on a simple @ring doorbell. As I said @Lowes had them IN STOCK AT SAME PRICE AND SCAM "PRIME DAYS"!!

~sarlev (e/acc) (@sarlev_) reported@rahul the problem people have with flock (and other megacorp surveillance systems, like @ring being used by police departments), is the massive network effects and the scale and nature of surveillance that arises out of that. sure, this is also why you guys are funded by @a16z and venture capital, but forcing these kinds of product features at a regulatory level actually makes it so smaller upstarts cannot break into the market and have alternative solutions to people’s privacy fears. of course, you guys and other incumbents know this. for example, i would be ok for select cameras in my locality that are actually fully accessible to any fellow citizen resident. there is no expectation of privacy in a public place, but for a community to actually adjudicate if they want cameras, they should have access to them and to the user experience of the surveillance operators. no audit logs, just everyone has access at all times. and then the community makes a decision at that point to say, ‘where do we actually want to have constant surveillance that is in the interest and aligned with the values of our community’

DonutOfDoom (@AnusOfDoom) reported@AFL 🚨🚨🚨 My neighbour barracks for the Dons and 3 weeks ago I caught her on my @ring doing a girthy **** 💩on our doorstep so I’ve little to no sympathy for Don fans at the minute. 🙄 They’re filthy animals imho🎯

Startup Academy (@vc__backed) reportedThe story of Ring and Jamie Siminoff is one of the best examples of waiting for the right moment. Jamie was able to sell Ring for $1.2 billion to Amazon, but first he had to turn down an offer from Shark Tank. "Kevin O'Leary gives me this offer, which was it just going to bankrupt the business. It was like royalties and all this stuff. Like we needed to build something bigger." - @ring Founder, @JamieSiminoff on @The_RoomPodcast
-
Louis (@LouisFerreira) reported@therealDeFlock @ring @HomeDepot wtf is that…

Brad Rice (@BradRice14) reportedAwful customer service from @ring . Multiple times trying to resolve an issue that is at their end and never a resolution. No complaints department and no escalation paths. Poorly run
-
𝓐𝓵𝓲 (@aliezad) reported@ring on my apple watch, the alerts usually include a snapshot from the ring cam. But randomly, there would be no picture and just the text about someone being at front door. I have been noticing this more since last couple of months. Can you look into this and fix in a future update?

Jessi Laurèn (@PBM_Pretty) reported@YaBoyHagg @ring I thought it was just me !!!! I hate that what if it goes down the day yall wanna bs with my damn security system it’s insane !!!!

I find dotards! (@monkeybutte62) reported@DesireeAmerica4 It's for determining traffic usage for road maintenance planning you fking retards. They use to use a pneumatic hose to count the traffic, now it's more precise. In the 70's we would blow in the hose to run the count up. Y'all just keep slapping your @ring cameras on your doors!

Barry Harding (@BazzaHards) reported@ring not impressed with your customer service 😡 You send me a faulty product, can’t resolve the issue despite 5 phone calls (kept getting disconnected by you), then I have all of the inconvenience of sending faulty bit back BEFORE you send me a replacement ! Shocking 🤷🏻😡😡

ØBANA (@StephenObana) reported@ring doorbell was denied by all of the sharks on #sharktank during its pitch episode, in 2018 it sold to Amazon for $1billion dollars. Gate keepers aren’t ****, never give up.
