@ring Brilliant, not even managed a month without another outage! What’s the point in having this doorbell if it breaks down all the time, I’m disabled, this was the whole point of having a) security before I open the door and b) not having to get up as I have limited mobility 😡

@ring Things like this happens. But please atleast fix your app to give proper error message. This is very basic programming stuff. You wasted so many customer's time because of unrelated app error message and we have no clue on what's going on.

@ring has been down all day, the only notification from the company has been on Twitter, no updates of any kind and no answer on the 800 number. Sometimes things go wrong, that's okay, not be responsive to your customers, not so much.

@jbt70094 @resisthaters @ring It's AWS down. But #RING doesn't say that. RING offers no help or information to help you assess safety risk. You're forced to research it online, follow time conversion tables from UTC to local time zone to even figure out when they posted the last nonsense "status" update.

@ring I understand that, I’m questioning why Ring hasn’t been proactive in notifying customers there’s an issue? Instead your customers are uninstalling the App, calling internet providers thinking something is wrong on their end, only to find out wasted hours later it’s Ring’s issue!

@ring Not great when you buy a product to only find out its made useless by a major outage at AWS. I'm curious why an outage in NE America impacts me in Europe. Surely your services should be distributed more for the sake of fault tolerance?
