@ring 1/2: 30 minutes on hold with customer service as I can’t get the faceplate off my ring door bell to reconnect to internet. It seems previous homeowner stripped screws and now I can’t fix. You sent me to local on-site support and they charge $129 to come out. What a joke!

Hi @ring we have a Video Doorbell 2nd Gen. A few weeks ago the battery needed charging which we did, a full charge lasted a few days, we recharged, the same thing happened. We purchased a brand new Ring battery, charged it and the same thing happened. Can you help please? Thanks

@ring my son got a Ring for me cause of white trash next door. I have been trying to get this thing to work ha ha. It ask me for my WiFi password but there's no place to put the password. when I ask it takes me to Ring password. It has to something that is so easy to fix

@ring I tried that approach twice but it didn't resolve my problem (I have 2 request IDs as proof with no replacement or tracking number). At this point a dumb doorbell is better than your product, at least it actually works.

@ring you subscription has tripled since I got your doorbell and camera. Just charged my credit card without warning or notice at a higher rate. Not good enough. The ability to review videos after motion has gotten longer and longer. So charges have gone up, service has gone down

As a follow-up, @ring advised me to restart my phone to update the app. Since doing that, it’s appeared to have worked. Unfortunate that that is a fix, though. It should have always worked.

Downloading videos from @ring is criminally terrible, and not even sure it’s worth bothering with. And no, the new batch downloading released last month isn’t any better. It consistently fails.
