@ring It is a problem because a user wouldn’t know the camera is down unless they manually check the app and notice the camera is showing offline. I have DLink cameras too and their app does notify when the cameras go offline and back online.

Cooooooool mail gets stolen and i try to make a post to alert the neighbors and @ring took it down. Like we gona protect unidentifiable mail thieves now. I canr even let people know to look out my post gets deleted, F for censorship

@ring "I posted about this problem a couple weeks ago. It's a firmware issue. Your Ring is restarting when someone rings the doorbell, which is why you can't connect until later and there's no recording after the doorbell is rung. " is this true @ring ?

@ring The issue is that snoozing your home from the dashboard still allows chime units to ring when motion is detected. Ive also DM'd Ring, with no response. Looking forward to your advice.

@klikyote @ring It’s worked ok for me but this lack of outage notifications is a huge oversight. Plus Amazon doesn’t need any more business. I won’t continue using their products when my current cameras need replacement.

@ring I’ve noticed a bug in the Ring iOS app where sometimes the live view from tapping on a doorbell notification does not show the door controls for my Ring Access Controller Pro. To open the door I have to first exit live view, which isn’t great. Is this a known issue?

@ring I did DM you. I am trying to cancel my account. I even provided the error from the web browser which shows the REST url and error I receive. Since other people trying to cancel may get this error, you may be overcharging them if you do not fix it
