@ring I am not receiving Rich Notifications from my hard-wired Ring doorbell. I see that you are aware that battery-powered Ring doorbells are having this problem. I want to make sure that you are also working on resolving the problem with hard-wired devices.

Anyone else get tired of @fedex lying and saying they delivered packages they didnt deliver. You spend hours chasing down packages in the event it was delivered to the wrong place, only for your @ring to show the delivery the next day. Stop faking deliveries! Tell the truth!

So, @ring cameras have "Person Detection" and are supposed to use AI/ML to detect if motion is a person or not. If it detects a person, notifies "There is a person at (back door camera)." But that detection sucks...and alerts on all kinds of ****...in the middle of the night...

@marcy_c1223 @ring Could be 2 years.. there's no ETA and no update since 8/5 besides "it's offline". What kind of IT resolution is this? It's no resolution at all, it's a huge, ongoing FAIL by Ring.

@ring Called the support team to ask why Rich notifications are not working and got told they were disabled. Don't you think it would be wise to send a communication email out to all your account holders to advise that you are disabling a service? Secondly there is no ETA for a fix.

@ring charges £25 a year for the privilege of getting rich notifications and to look at your own videos is absolutely shocking especially since its been down now for nearly a week.. seriously would never recommend ring to anyone with charging to look at your videos.

@MidleAgeGambino @ring I’ve tried blink and wyze and I prefer ring. Also, if you have an issue, they answer you immediately and will troubleshoot. I had one that gave me issues and they replaced it right away

@ring @ijimenez1 I could literally spin up an AWS instance and code the entire back-end required to start an entirely new Rich Notifications service in the time it's taken your engineers to sort this issue.

@agcia87 @ring do you have many of their devices? I talked to my Mom about getting Ring after she was robbed in the middle of the day when she was home. Thankfully they broke into a building that was unoccupied but they just as easily could have broken in her home.
