Big takeaways from today. @ring is not reliable, it’s a fun and sometimes useful gimmick, but it’s not a security system. They have terrible technical support. Their phone service could not be worse and their twitter team is nice but not equipped to help with technical issues.

@ring Hey Ring, what’s up with the huge security issue introduced when you pushed “modes?” Now cameras stop working at 12:00 am and don’t begin working until 5:00 am! And yes, I’ve called, no one has a clue! Big problem. Huge!

@ring hi guys, do you have any idea why the Ring alarm ‘arm ring’ commands aren’t working with Alexa routines for past 2 days in UK? Ive asked Amazon but they have no idea. It’s not just me, lots of people in FB group have the same issue. Used to work but stopped. Thanks.

It seems like everyone I know with a @ring doorbell has had their battery die in the last week. What’s going on? Mine is hardwired but a power outage of less than two hours dropped the battery to 6%?!?

Too bad that footage was released to the police and the entire crew has been arrested. Only issue is where the jewelry is as it has not yet been recovered. This should be a lesson to all homeowners. Get guns Get guard dogs Get @ring security devices

What is going on with @ring at the min. app is dreadful,got worse, performance of watching back footage or live view is pointless as the thing freezes after 2 secs, &then you get nothing for rest of the clip.Internet connection good so it's the app/servers. Poor (paid for) show

@ring They’re not “running as normal.” I’ve had these for 2 years. And it wasn’t 1 call. It was 3! You have a firmware issue. After the last rep reset all the cameras this started. The outlier was a new, replacement camera that was behaving normally until reset. Fix it.

What if I didn't have an account? I actually asked this and was told that in that event, they can't issue refunds? What? You have my card number, but you can't issue a $30 refund to the card used to make the purchase? Really @ring - really?
