-
unimpressive@best (@unimpressivebe1) reportedRemeber when @ring told us they could find a lost dog and all it cost was privacy? This is that on government funded steroids. People should be calling @flocksafety out as what it is - a tool of fascism and control. **** the people who work there. They are a cult.

Helen D (@Helen_D_Snow) reported@amazon @ring I am writing to request assistance with a long-standing technical issue affecting my Amazon account. For several months (possibly close to a year), I have been completely unable to use the Customer Service Chat feature. Every time I attempt to start a chat, I receive the following error message: “Sorry, it looks like we hit a snag. Please select Try chat again. If you see this message again, you can try another help option.” This problem occurs consistently: On every order, not just a specific one. In the Amazon mobile app. Repeatedly over many months. Selecting “Try chat again” never resolves the issue. Because this has persisted for such a long time, I believe it may be related to my account or a backend technical issue rather than a temporary system error. The inability to use Customer Service Chat has made it very difficult for me to contact Amazon whenever I need assistance. I would greatly appreciate it if your technical team could investigate my account and restore my access to the Chat service. I have already contacted Customer Service multiple times regarding this issue. Unfortunately, the problem has never been resolved, so I am reaching out to your Executive Customer Relations team in the hope that it can be investigated by the appropriate technical team. If any additional information, screenshots, or account details are needed, I would be happy to provide them. Thank you very much for your time and assistance. I have always appreciated Amazon’s customer service and hope this issue can be resolved. Attached is a screenshot of the error message for your reference.

GOPmom (@lisadolgos) reported@ring worst customer service. Spent over $500 on cameras and a doorbell. I never received the doorbell, even though UPS says it was delivered. Spent an hour on the phone to get them to agree to send a replacement. Have yet to receive it.

Laura Waller (@MamaWaller85) reported@ring is there a current issue as my device has been offline all day and no problem with WiFi
-
VAUGHAN (@VAUGHANutd) reported@ring I’m having trouble logging into my account on both the app and website. I keep getting a ‘406 Not Acceptable’ black page ONLY on the login page Please help

Startup Academy (@vc__backed) reportedThe story of Ring and Jamie Siminoff is one of the best examples of waiting for the right moment. Jamie was able to sell Ring for $1.2 billion to Amazon, but first he had to turn down an offer from Shark Tank. "Kevin O'Leary gives me this offer, which was it just going to bankrupt the business. It was like royalties and all this stuff. Like we needed to build something bigger." - @ring Founder, @JamieSiminoff on @The_RoomPodcast
-
Jeremiah (@TotalRecall9) reported@amazon @ring I'd say it's staged because.. 1) It's not hot as hell. 2) He's not rushing around on an overburdened route. 3) He has time enough to fix the flag but not a couple of seconds to walk on the sidewalk? Amazon posts this, but they treat their delivery drivers like expendable crap!

Thatoneaccount (@Retradworld) reported@therealDeFlock @ring @HomeDepot Wtf is their problem!!!

I find dotards! (@monkeybutte62) reported@DesireeAmerica4 It's for determining traffic usage for road maintenance planning you fking retards. They use to use a pneumatic hose to count the traffic, now it's more precise. In the 70's we would blow in the hose to run the count up. Y'all just keep slapping your @ring cameras on your doors!
-
East Austin Zaddy (@El_Jefe_Mayor) reportedIt’s probably just me but Is @ring a piece of ****?
-
Daniel Ricker (@RickerDaniel19) reported@ring you have too many options for cameras. The app says newest or 2nd gen or newest model. Make the numbers more clear or help differentiate your products. Trying to choose and it’s way too complicated.
-
DA (@Roentgenguy) reported@sabucci_84 @ring @ring same issue with one of my floodlight cameras. Please provide us with an update as to when this will be fixed. Thanks.

-
ItsMike (@ItsMikeTwitch) reported@NataleeAnn92 @ring I'm having the exact same issue, every single morning for the past week I'm waking up to a notification from 2-3am saying it's offline. Literally never reconnects 🙄 @ring please advise ASAP, I'd rather not be spending £5 a month on a device that doesn't work...
-
I find dotards! (@monkeybutte62) reported@DisrespectedThe We need to ban ALL Ring cameras! Destroy Ring cameras and be a patriot! Down with @ring
-
Bubbba Buffett (@DickBuffett) reportedPointing your security camera onto your neighbors property is illegal. @ring cameras are often just as bad as flock.
-
← Sum'n Else 🇹🇹🇯🇲 (@CreatedToBHated) reported@ring I did. Your agent told me I have to wait a week for y'all to do anything about an issue that's reoccurring and happening right now
-
Mark Lawton (@marklawton500) reported@ring just had the most horrific customer service experience. Camera failed, but you've deactivated my device and the lights are permanently on causing a nuisance to my neighbours. You shouldn't have done this until the new device was installed. Customer service refused to help.

~sarlev (e/acc) (@sarlev_) reported@rahul the problem people have with flock (and other megacorp surveillance systems, like @ring being used by police departments), is the massive network effects and the scale and nature of surveillance that arises out of that. sure, this is also why you guys are funded by @a16z and venture capital, but forcing these kinds of product features at a regulatory level actually makes it so smaller upstarts cannot break into the market and have alternative solutions to people’s privacy fears. of course, you guys and other incumbents know this. for example, i would be ok for select cameras in my locality that are actually fully accessible to any fellow citizen resident. there is no expectation of privacy in a public place, but for a community to actually adjudicate if they want cameras, they should have access to them and to the user experience of the surveillance operators. no audit logs, just everyone has access at all times. and then the community makes a decision at that point to say, ‘where do we actually want to have constant surveillance that is in the interest and aligned with the values of our community’

SilkyMule (@silkymule11) reported**** you @ring and your stupid *** products
-
LastRealOneLeft (@Rivirunthecity) reported@ring if I bought ya ****** *** cameras I shouldn’t have to pay to use them. The whole subscription to **** I already paid for is so ******* old fix up of just shut ******** down.
