    One of the fundamental issues with blocking public apps (like Parler) is that you reduce visibility of bad actors on open platforms. Once a group moves to invite only groups on encrypted services (telegram etc.) it becomes harder to pick up signals

    I guess this 'Switch to signal/telegram' arguments will all die down and most people will click that 'I agree' button on #WhatsApp eventually. It's too ingrained in life, especially the seniors. Very hard to move onto something new

    @upweeks @techmedy Every service that's been aligned with this man has officially been tanked the only platform left at this point is Telegram.

    @IanHardie9018 They were given 24hrs to clean up. As you say, the platform will be archived. New ones will emerge, I found Whatsapp was fouling up my laptop and trying to make links with my phone, causing loads of problems, so I now use Telegram. That might be the next one to get blocked ?

    One idea that GoI could pursue is a 'super app' for delivering central and state government services. It will integrate the functions of DigiLocker, BHIM. It can have a chat service for interaction with various departments and Telegram-style channel for dissemination information.

    @BitcoinDiamond_ Ive asked and asked. I emailed support, I requested help through Telegram, through the app and still my BitcoinDiamond is stuck on BCDPAY version 1.1.0 The new wallet version 7.1.63 wont recover and I cant send off old version. Please will you help me?

    @ZantashaK_ @PropitiousOn3O People are looking Telegram, Signal as alternatives. But still it would take some time to shift. We have too many contacts with whom we have to keep contact via WhatsApp & not all of them will shift instantly. It will take a while down the road to delete WhatsApp 4rm our mobiles.
