    @TheStarlux Could carry one of my parents old phones or the iPad and use messenger or set them up with telegram, only problem is would just have to stop at a place with WiFi.

    i guess the bummer is i can’t log into telegram, that was/would be a useful workaround not having proper phone service temporarily. not sure why i logged out. regretting that move. phone never ringing is pure relief.

    Pixel 4xl. So it's a compatibility issue with Telegram X and Android 12. Haven't fully tested the camera yet but that will be Monday when I return to work.
