    @JW_HLR @BradleyMartyn The average American has never bread of WeChat so there’s no problem but everyone in America has heard and use tiktok. The fact that a lot of Americans are getting spied on is the reason that there trying to ban it

    Might be an unpopular opinion but I think @tiktok has to be the worst app for creators … my work has been regurgitated to a ridiculous level and ive just found out these people make money from this @tiktok_uk @tiktok_us … any of the tokkerz can u fix this ?

    @CatholicaPuella TikTok is not a social issue. It's a geopolitik Intel issue. The social issue is how dumbed down and discombobulated we've become as a geographic cluster of people.

    why were they so quick to gather together and agree on shitting on tiktok instead of quickly gathering together and solving our inflation problem, or the ohio train derailment. if they are so pressed on data collection get oracle in a hearing, or interrogate your meta lobbyists

    @Alan7615 TikTok is a problem and must be addressed. India has banned it for good reason, but all their data is still stored. And if China wants it not banned, then the can UN ban Facebook and Instagram. No, it’s not a one way street.

    I think TikTok is a problem, but it’s not my problem as much as it is everybody else’s. I don’t use it. I don’t let my kids use it. I let you hooligans poison my well of attention in other ways.

    I spent last night making a highlights video for my intro to twitch tonight. I posted it to @TikTok to see what you guys thought! Unfortunately it’s been muted and copyrighted even though I pay for music to be used for content. Hopefully I’ll have this problem sorted soon 🤞

    @kevincarrico Surely it also neglects the issues of reciprocity (or lack of) and Tiktok’s inability to shield data from the CCP

    TikTok ownership and server locations are details. Data can be moved easily. The real problem is that their servers (like too many others) contain data that should never leave the privacy of our phones and computers. We need legislation to limit harvesting of our private data.

    The U.S. government is very clear about its own problems, but they will not face and face their own problems. What's more, they do is to throw away the problem and find a new problem to create a topic. TikTok is a new topic.

    @RealBrysonGray It's not about morality, it's about national security. It's a fact that tiktok is hijacking devices and spying for China. That's a big problem. Also, it would literally be impossible to ban porn in a free country. So, yeah.
