    @Matt_Hopcraft @abcmelbourne @tiktok Yup! Especially if it’s essentially an anonymous app tech company. I was monitored via an app admittedly (very handy for lockdown) but any issues I had (attachments falling off breaking, bites not settling etc) I was a tram ride away from seeing a human.

    Ego has been killing profits since forever... Likes on insta or Facebook Twitter or TikTok don't pay your bills. And when it comes down to it, your followers aren't going to be the ones deciding what action you need to take when you are faced with a problem

    @AtomicRakoon @EvilVizier Some women on the TikTok also pointed this out - the problem is not the virtual/visual augmentation of the face/body,but the INTERNAL/EXTERNAL perception of augmentation. Also,ad externalized VIRTUAL augmentation to people,who have weak external perception of their body-image. 🤪

    Incidentally if we're going after TikTok on privacy grounds but not any of the OTHER major social media companies for the same issue, that's certainly ******* grounds for contesting the whole thing. But not the First Amendment.

    @ItIsAboutPeople @gordon_mcw @RepBuddyCarter I watched it. I cringe. Buddy had zero idea what ******** he's talking about. Continue to cut in bc he can't bear to hear the truth that he's ******* wrong. Keep blaming TikTok like a sheep that you are. The core of the problem will never be fix.

    Is the problem that the Chinese government can get our data from tiktok or that our government can't? How about tightening it up so neither can get it? I bet Congress wouldn't like that option as much.

    I think TikTok is a problem, but it’s not my problem as much as it is everybody else’s. I don’t use it. I don’t let my kids use it. I let you hooligans poison my well of attention in other ways.
