    Also who the hell is so thick to have TikTok installed on a gov device anyway? Or Instagram? Or Facebook? Or Twitter? All of these apps collect sensitive data that is stored and sold for malign purposes but we apparently have no issue with US companies doing it?

    Does the app have its problems with kids. Sure. It can, but did you read the Facebook Files? I’d much rather my daughter be on TikTok than Instagram. At least people are creative, innovative and talented on TikTok instead of posting a fake procured life.

    @eiIcado @aliyahInterlude Right attention spans are definitely shorter cause of short clips. But issue is all these other platforms have already adjusted to this. Feels like it going in circles. If tiktok does go down, likely people are gonna wanna create the new top app with the same format, tragic tbh

    Idgaf about what nobody on TikTok in the reading circles say because I’m already seeing pushback against Sanderson, I have issues with certain viewpoints or misdirections of prose in his work, but that article was a HITPIECE with bad intentions. I truly believe Sanderson is good.

    That's what the hearings really need to be about. Not this fake crap aimed at TikTok that wants nothing to do with that, & built their systems in a way that those tactics can't be used. That's the real issue here. TikTok's rise to success while not letting others abuse it.

    I've watched videos of the Tiktok Hearing in US Congress on TikTok itself. TikTok Hearing revealed that Congress is the problem. Sad life.
