Very smart by Ubisoft to use Ghost Recon Breakpoint. The live-service title has a small population (for good reason; the game stinks), and can serve as an excellent testing ground in a live environment for Ubisoft to define what it wants to do with NFTs.

  • TaylorJohnPine Taylor John Pine (@TaylorJohnPine) reported

@GhostRecon Terrible idea. Why does poor old Ghost Recon have to be the crash test dummy for this? Hasn’t the franchise been through enough recently? Something like this would’ve made more sense for a game like The Division.

  • James29379058 James (@James29379058) reported

@GhostRecon thats not even avaiable in my country good job ubi keep not listening to the players , its been a year now since i could play the game without any crash, game breaking bugs, glitches etc...

  • Leovic77 Victor De Leon (@Leovic77) reported

@UbisoftSupport for Ghost Recon Breakpoint I keep getting Howard-00000 error on the xbox after playing 10 minutes into the game. It had done it about 8 times already and it does not savey progress. I have reset the router, updated. Why can I not play the game?

@disgruntledbad1 Okay, ignoring that NFTs are inherently a scam, what purpose does that serve aside from turning gamers into day traders? And in what way would you implement taking items from Ghost Recon into someone elses game? It seems like it's just creating solutions nonexistent problems

  • boyj765 Jason Boyd (@boyj765) reported

@GhostRecon I am begging you please, if you make a sequel to Breakpoint please make it run at 60 fps. Breakpoint feels brand new and every problem I had with the sluggishness or input lap is gone on ps5.

  • Noncontxtual @EdgeLordOfDoggoTown (@Noncontxtual) reported

@farokh I like the idea of some games as service games having nfts. Like final fantasy 14 or possibly in grand theft auto 6 online. Im just not impressed by ubisofts roll out yet since ghost recon breakpoint isnt something Im willing to go back to again, Siege wouldve been a better start

  • Helthurian Zach (@Helthurian) reported

It does suck for Ghost Recon fans tho, as this is the least of the franchises issues. However, if Ubisoft sticks to this implementation moving forward, it's a win win for fans of Ubisoft games. Now instead of buying a skin you dont actually own, now you'll actually own that skin.

  • CitadelHyperion CitadelHyperion ∞/21M SATS **** (@CitadelHyperion) reported

Tezos offered them a few millions in tokens. When the corpo suits saw that nobody cared about XTZ, they filled their bags. Now they are giving away the first batch of NFTs for a dead broken game (Ghost Recon Breakpoint) Later they will start selling them. 2/n

  • PrincessPutrid I cannot ******* wait until morrissey dies (@PrincessPutrid) reported

Last game I brought was Ghost recon breakpoint and I stuck it out until they took out all the looter-shooter stuff and made it an actual tactical shooter again but the **** does not work on Nvidia cards STILL WHICH HAS BEEN A KNOWN ISSUE FOR YEARS NOW

  • KurowoBeats BangladeschBoy (@KurowoBeats) reported

@GhostRecon This is trash, no one wants that ****. Ubisoft should spend their time making the Game better and not making it worse. Ways to improve the Game: - Add more customisation to the Game (4 Free) - Fix some stupid bugs (backpacks and stuff) - Add feature like putting away the guns

  • Drexo_social YTBdrexo (@Drexo_social) reported

@Nibellion Of all the games to put this trash, they choose Ghost Recon Breakpoint.... Also how the Fck do you sell these? through an Ubisoft service? How do you now the value? Is in game money laundering allowed?

  • caglarseker çağlar (@caglarseker) reported

    @GhostRecon fix grw

  • Alex_Everatt Alex (@Alex_Everatt) reported

@euolvontri @formerlycuddles @Ubisoft But what benefit does ownership have of an asset in a game? You own a skin for Ghost Recon. You can't use it elsewhere and Ubisoft shuts Ghost Recon server down. What do you own now? What benefit do you have over paid DLC now aside from selling it?

  • barbaresh Benny Shmilovicci (@barbaresh) reported

@Kenturrac I don't take any sides here, but the situation of the gaming industry is awful, we have too many games that ask more money for an half backed, broken and awful product by using a brand name, like Battlefield, Ghost recon Etc. The time is near and the industry will collapse.
