Looks like I won't be playing Halo for a while (might be a good thing??) My Scuf controller has developed major stick drift on the left stick, sending in for a repair, and have heard the service time is pretty bad. Well back to Valorant we go!

@Level2H2H @Kephrii @PlayOverwatch Not a cheater, and I still think ring 0 is by far the wrong approach. If Valorant's anticheat is any indication, it will kill compatibility with any PC that isn't running under the environment they demand. No Mac. No Linux. No Hypervisors. No streaming PC as a service.

@ConflictOCE @OfficialAproto But... Wouldn't that be less realistic? (I know we're not going for realism, i'm just trying to understand why they'd make that conscious decision) I had no issue with linear sprays in CS:GO, and switching to valorant i didn't mind how they operate.

@T_McClellan40 @bstategames The problem will always BE a problem. If someone wants to hack in a game they will simply find a way. There is already a way around kernel access games like Valorant with VM's. People already deter from playing such games because giving anyone that kind of access is insane.

@tobiassolem @NoahTwentyTwo @bstategames Look at what Riot did for Valorant. Using BE guarantees people will continue to cheat in large volumes because the exploit’s authors have an easy target. All games using BE have this exact same issue.

@FluxyWave I’ve been using windows 11 for months now. No issues. The only minor thing I noticed was a slight drop in FPS when playing Valorant but this was evident back then. I have no issues now

If it’s a proper competitive game with a skill gap it’s fun and necessary to have competition of equal skill example being Valorant. The problem is the casual no skill gap games all try to have that same principle which makes them no fun

Not sure if ring 0 access will really help too much as we can see with riots vanguard and the current cheater problem in Valorant. Would be interested to know how much the escalated privileges has actually helped in deterring cheaters in VAL as the game is having issues atm.

@OfficialAproto Oh and spread, rng is not how you balance a competitive game idc what people say with the "play your gun's effective range"; the best way to fix this is to actually implement fall-off... (btw the instant fall-off in Valorant is bad, make it linear instead of a staircase downward)

as toxic as i have been recently or as tilted as i am, i genuinely find myself wanting to play Valorant all the time and its all i think about, since @Shawn12590 fixed my input delay issue i finally able to play the game normally after 3 months.
