@mirbitcs Well, cs has a plethora of problems, but that still wont get me to switch, since valorant has a very different feel and cannot replace the game in my eyes. I think they are different enough to get more of a symbiosis going than an outright competition

I played Valorant for the last 1-2 months and got to Immortal III. The game has like 95% less issues and the built in ranking system is so much better. I personally think CS:GO is „better“ in terms of concept and gunplay but it‘s really difficult to oversee the weaknesses.

@GuvnahBrady A multiplayer NFT game would need to have a player count in the hundred thousands to minimize queue times. In order to get people to buy cosmetics, most of them would have to be p cheap. The problem is that a game like Valorant/FIFA/CSGO would also be COMPETING with those games.

I believe both CS:GO and Valorant can coexist but the lack of content, issues with the game itself and an overall „old“ or „outdated“ look would suggest that more players will switch in the long run and new players will get attracted to Valorant.

@GaNoodles_ @cmcandthings Valorant's graphics are vastly more up to date than CSGO and the "Powerups" are literally only in the Spike Rush gamemode which is a complete shitpost of a gamemode it's not even for warming up it's just dicking around. Also besides the issue of selling, Val skins are cheaper.

Looking back and seeing how serious people take ranked valorant and competitive like its their job, it’s lowkey a problem. Especially if you’re sinking 6+ hours daily 7 days a week for the whole year. Its mad!
