    Now the industry's somehow surprised that the same is happening to live service games. They saw the success of Fortnite's Battle Pass, and said, "Hey, that makes a lot of money, let's do that!" A handful of successes: Destiny, Genshin, Warframe, Sea of Thieves, Rocket League.

    @pumkinpatchwork @xvnposts And for honkai I don't know I've play live service games just as old and they suffer the same issues Warframe has almost the same issues

    @silv3rs1de Not helping matters is... Look we'll get people screaming how liver service is an abomination that needs to be destroyed and yer playing HOW MUCH Valorant there kiddo? If not that then League, Warframe, PoE. It's not EVERYONE complaining, but I bet it's a decent chunk of em.

    @JimSterling does warframe fits into this ? game improved but it requires a lot of time to play and get stuff. They fixed lot of issues but the grind is a mess , it requires time , spreadsheets , wiki , etc

    @GATHOMAS33 @firstadopter I think its not really fair to zoom in on every live service game that fail. There tons and tons that are successful, plus a live service game can literally man everything. Gran turismo, Destiny, warframe, MLB, FF14, sea of thieves are all different kind of live service games 1/2

    @TheNCSmaster The only live service game I play is Warframe off & on, crazy how it survived nearly 10 years and most of these can't survive 1.

    @REYCALL1 If I fix my sleep schedule I might be alright 😓 It's not actually been Twitter keeping me up (mostly Warframe) but I think sleeping at 2-3AM most nights to wake up at 9AM probably is doing something

    Bit of a hot take: GAAS games CAN work. Look at Warframe, Destiny, FFXIV, etc. The problem with most of these companies doing them is that they don't ever think beyond 2 years at least, which is why we're seeing SO many getting shut down soon.

    we're all lucky that live service games just naturally cancel each other out. we already got ****** destiny warframe fortnite and apex legends. anything that attempts to join will die and that is exciting

    @Forcer69 @demonjoeTV I don't think Warframe has any major issues right now other than Duviri getting delayed like 1 month. Fallout 76 had a rough road but only suffers from being same-y for the past few years.

    ...oh my ARK end tweet didnt go through... yeah i need to fix a bit of the issues on it. I'll try it again later on this week. The Warframe stream is now up in the air for now cause we're way into scorched Earth right now
