@jifferey @WickedWizard15 why is hurting live service good? hell divers is telling an amazing story, Warframe has events and missions you had to be there to experience with community in person, Fortnite has a ever changing dynamic and story, why are those bad game elements?

@DIaskevich36656 @FrankPulpwriter @Pirat_Nation This is a great example of why state regulatory power is so dangerous. People with bad ideas can force their opinions onto others, strangling the market. Consider that "online only live service games" includes: Helldivers 2, Warframe, Darktide, etc.

@Pupsker I think one of the problems is that it is taking place in duviri, wich is infamous for its bugginess. I had runs where I couldn't pick a Decree or it didn't work properly, Warframe gets animation locked, unable to use your abilities etc.

@JoshTwirl @skibitsky @The41stPrecinct Sounds like good riddence, to stop modern take on live service games. In sea of trash that those are there are maybe 2 worth while titles. Helldivers and warframe at best

@Dezachu Not necessarily hooked by it but Warframe’s battlepass system is great. Never have to pay for it, has some decent rewards. Honestly just Warframe’s whole approach to live service is S tier and should be the gold standard.

@PlayWarframe The problem with the Rhino Heirloom skin is that it is so over-designed that it no longer looks like the warframe it's based on. it's not just one aspect either, The Horns, the clothing, the weird leather Ruff... all of it deviates from his natural outline and symmetry.

my issue with warframe is that they introduce a new quest line that looks really cool (that 90s stuff) and then it's like "you need to play 130hrs to reach it"

@LethargicKoopa @ShitpostRock Warframe is going strong for it's 12th year too. The simple matter is that live service as a model isn't the problem, is the companies who are too incompetent/greedy to do it properly

@SchonlauThorben If unlimited Arcanes or trade items could be bought, Warframe's market would collapse: oversupply would crash prices to near zero, devaluing rare items, disrupting Platinum trading, and likely prompting DE to intervene with restrictions or resets to restore balance.
