@Gothalion @TTVxNEOx They bit more than they could chew, they already knew they wanted to make Soulframe and wanted to expand the Warframe team so also publishing a completely detached live service wasnt in their best interest, it sucks but as far as the gaming industry goes this is mild.

@k3nnyn3v Hopefully, if it is Live Service, it's like Warframe Monetization, or cosmetics only. Either way, I'd like to wait and see. I can definitely see why people are upset over this though.

@AcneAlex70534 @cement_chocobo @Pirat_Nation tbf, the game is not that trash especially when nearly all the issues you can list in TFD, pretty much exist in Warframe as well. Only difference between the 2 is that Warframe is a really old game with many long established fans supporting it

@SylvieClosVT But to be fair, as a South America player, that issue is expected. Even popular games like Warframe and even Fortnite suffer from matchmaking issues due to low player count in that region. At least I aways play on NA by default. 100+ ping is better than not playing at all.

@j0gi1337 @PaulTassi My point is there's many types of multiplayer games. There's MMOs with basically no PVP at all or if it exists it's a tacked on at best. Warframe, Destiny, FFXIV, huge multiplayer live service games, also not PVP (in any serious or significant way) Multiplayer doesn't mean PVP.

@Ki11ersix @MattGoesBuck @MoxsyOG Warframe is a fantastic example. In theory, it could work really well for Borderlands but I know live service is also a graveyard where other games have not succeeded. Still, doing this well might be the way to go

@david_murati @lyger013 @MoxsyOG Tbf, looter shooter wise, live service has no competition. You got Destiny 2, Division 2, Warframe, and First Descendants haha. Destiny 2 is in a very bad state, Division 2 is good but can’t keep up putting out content. Warframe is niche, and TFD may as well be a mobile game.

as much as at least tried Duet Night Abyss, the fact that they followed the example of Digital Extremes (Warframe) makes me glad, which is to deliver something both for community and for themselves, something that should make all other live-service developers follow also
