@GachaCentel Beta player of Warframe, is a little wild call inferior a game that put so much love for 10+ years, the trust, the quality, the love and how devs take notes when the comm have problems and then fix it and more is something you need earn first, then you can talk.

@lelandsdoll I think part of the issue is that one tweet saying the CEO referred to Warframe as an "inferior product." I don't know if thats a true statement, but considering the game is being made in a way that will appeal to WF players, alienating them like that is a bad idea.

@Drake64011 Whenever I talked with someone who dropped or didnt want to pick up Warframe, the complaint was mostly the grind. So I am expecting something similar from the new players that are not used to it. Ironically a warframer will have no issue with it.

@FeyHunt I would say if they manage to find the audience similar to Warframe which will likely happen as it's very similar in gameplay. Then they won't have much issues with monetisation. As skins and frames or waifus are largely all that Warframe sells and they still do fine.

@sagarch61861102 @GrayRavenRadio The issue is that this game isn’t warframe, it appeals purely to a relatively niche market. I really don’t think this game will last too long.

@BIGGOISBIGGO Bruh, thats just means that DNA is a Live Service Game. Gacha at the end of the day is still the RNG Casino-like Monetization. You remove that, and what you're left off with is basically a good old Live Service Game, just like Warframe in this case; the game that DNA is based on.

@PurpleFlurpWF I still remember Warframe when it first came out. So many people passed on it due to the simple gameplay loop and lack of content. I think DNA will face similar issues. *A mix of the "item economy", gameplay modes and new character/content releases.

@ZaWorldoxxx @ZaWorldoxxx Last I saw they had a plagiarism issue with some of the animations. Either that or they use pre-made assets other games have used. Also like Part of the reason why Warframe is so good is because of its age and just the sheer amount of content.

@ObviousRises @ChibiReviews The problem is it seems if you look at any anime stuff you start getting degenerate ads. Hell, steam tends to push more adult games if you have anime games. They suggested Nekopara because I played Warframe! Clearly the ads are stereotype targeted in some cases.

@floofiesncream The thing is that since they moved away, their competition is now games like Warframe because that is the niche that they want to target. The real question now is what is the thing it it's content that makes it stand out from other live service looter shooters?

@braxophone People mention Warframe a lot when it comes to monetization, but who is to say that Warframe is a rule and not the exception? Are there any other live-service games that are surviving on this business model?

@nochrist_nolife The only thing separating gacha and live-service games is the monetization models, anime style isn't a new concept, many MMO's have tried that time and time again, but failed its competition now lies with other top liveservice titles like first descendant and Warframe.
