@ToniZams @Domination5150 @geoffkeighley I don't think good gameplay is enough to justify scummy monetization practices and artificial time gating though. For games like warframe that are free to play sure I get the live service appeal. As long as they don't go into pay for convenience, p2w, time gating and copy paste.

@rpwbrowne Well, maybe I was too harsh. I would say that games built specifically around this concept can be quite good (Destiny, Warframe, Diablo). The issue is that I feel the concept has found its way into far too many other genres as of late and that detracts from it.

@BloodDistur20 That and with games like this I feel like their isn’t any heart behind the game.. only feels like a business decision. And for a “live service” style looter shooter only destiny comes off with any heart.. and I guess warframe but I haven’t played that all.

@Domination5150 @geoffkeighley I've easily put more than 3000 hours into warframe, I quit about 5 years ago after realising how little "content" there actually was. I disagree with you on a fundamental level, live service games might be the games of the future, sure.

the latter is something i've complained about a lot (Warframe has a long-standing problem with gameplay loops that are really just keeping the player busy rather than measuring their performance in any meaningful way) but in this case does not distinguish the two modes

@PlayWarframe I ran the new exterminate tileset. Corpus holding. The grunts threw so many shield drones up it was almost funny. How about sorting petty issues like this out? I came to Warframe from Destiny 2. Bungie are appalling. But you lot are catching up. Kudos dumbfucks

@KarlieFryer @Bungie Yep, didn't help at all. Im a bit tired of the game to be honest, so many bugs, lag and promises they didn't keep. I take a break for a while and switch to Warframe.
