Pugs have to accept whatever is in place by blizz. Not gonna argue PL vs GL because they have pros and cons in pug environments.

However, how they are presented was what differentiated them. I have no issue with the Atrociraptor not looking different as long as it was allowed to do something interesting

Under the current system, i cant roll need on a lower ilvl tier piece than i currently own. There are very very few situation in which what you are describing would happen, and its not something you'd wanna "fix"
