Granted, this could be due to the simpler tech it was based on, but it might also be because it was built from the ground-up to be the game it is, whereas D2 is built on a modified Halo engine, over a decade old.

There are pros and cons in both systems for sure

It hasn't been a manual process in more than decade and doesn't the overhead cost isn't commensurate with the service fee. $15/mo in 2023 is already bananas. Just do away with exorbitant character service fees.

See the Warcraft adapting the prologue instead of anything interesting.

IF YOU'RE TAKING MY OMNIBAR, YOU BETTER BE TAKING THEIR QUE SYNC ADDON. EASY FIX: Allow DPS to que into full DPS lobbies. Give people who miss ques a 5 minute debuff

Mind Spike instant procs are gone. Void Origins is gone. Damnation is gone.
