    The bank of Japan is intervening in the yen to strengthen it. USDJPY is down 0.7% today and is backing away from The 162 level. The issue is, how long can intervention boost the yen? It doesn’t seem to have done much so far. @XTBUK

    What goes up, must come down. Bitcoin is down more than $3,000 today after hitting a record high on Monday after $121,000. Bitcoin is no get rich quick scheme at this level. @XTBUK

    Yields were lower, but are now starting to rise in Europe. Gold is up $40, but is not back at record highs. Oil is up 7%, and may have broken into a new range around $75 per barrel. Again, not great, but it may only have a limited impact on inflation. @XTBUK

    @BiggusDickusGME @consorsbank can’t agree more, quite disappointed with customer service handling and service offering in this case. Checking out @xtbde hoping they support shareholder voting also for US based stocks

    A small recalibration lower in expectations of a Fed rate cut in September, there is now a 59% chance; down from 60%. Bond yields are lower, as the us is following European bond yields lower. The market is taking this CPI report as benign, no hindrance to rate cuts. @XTBUK

    @KATHLEENBROOKS @XTBUK I hope you are not recommending XTB to your customers. @XTBUK is a disaster. Broken reporting system and non-existent support. Trustpilot has a note attached to their page highlighting scam reviews. I got caught badly.

    Likewise, In Europe the major pharma companies are only suffering mild losses. This is because companies are exempt if they are building facilities in the US. Most are, so their share prices are protected today, but it could lead to weaker growth in Europe down the line.@XTBUK

    @xtbczsk The worst experience I’ve ever had when it comes to investing, customer service, and the platform overall. I’ve been trying since February to transfer my funds, and customer support just keeps passing the issue from one person to another. @XTBLatam

    More record highs for gold, and us stocks are expected to extend gains later today. European indices are weaker across the board this morning. Ftse100 is led lower by healthcare. A stronger pound is a problem for the ftse since the majority of big hitters earn in $. @XTBUK
