    @shubh1 @zoom_us Nope. No fears at all. I’ve got the requisite safeguards on: no public links, only authenticated users, use a waiting room, only allow users with their real name displayed, and sometimes I use a password for access. No problems at all. #knockonwood

    @AnnTruwe @morningmika @comcast @Xfinity Truth! Hopefully @comcast @Xfinity gets their act together tomorrow and resolves this intermittent WiFi issue. I’ve got 3 college students and an 8th grader trying to do @zoom_us and/or online classes.

    Seems for @zoom_us webhooks, you cannot set conditions on the webhook payload. For example, for the user status updated event, you cannot filter down to a specific user (yourself)... you get the webhook event for EVERYONE in your account.

    With due respect, @DarBashir3 our village (Bon-Nambal, Mattan) is facing huge problems related to frequent power cuts. This problem is sever particularly for students who are unable to connect to their @zoom_us meetings and carry their #WorkFromHome.

    It baffles me whenever I hear people say @zoom_us is easy to use. Many platforms eg @google_meet & @uberconference have much less friction (eg no download). I've witnessed some not-so-tech-savvy users connect to @google_meet on their own, but have to get help to use @zoom_us.

    @YALLWEST @hrmason What happened is awful & unacceptable. @zoom_us needs a security measure in place where only the host can control turning mics on & off. The “raise hand” option shouldn’t only be accessible via chat. As long as chats & muting are open access, these problems will occur.

    @zoom_us needs to do so much more to protect folks on their platform. If it’s so bad that @ADL has to host webinars to address the issue - Zoom needs to go back to the drawing board. No one should have to go through what we experienced last night. #Hate.
