I would have trouble picturing how Ruffalo, Hemsworth, and their agents read this script and thought it was a winner. The alternative would be the script changed radically in production.

His relations with women (mom, GF) are main character focus (wtf?). Uneven pacing and too long. Halle Berry‘s work was good and refreshing. Hemsworth was not bad, just badly mis-used and mis-directed. It’s a bit of a mess of a movie. No surprise it bombed at the box office.
