Just started The Last Duel on @PrimeVideo and the subtitles are 5 seconds ahead right off the bat... Us hard of hearing folks have trouble following along if the subs aren't synced.

@LOTRonPrime @PrimeVideo Enjoyable fantasy show but awful Tolkien adaptation. Harfoots served no purpose except to introduce Gandalf and mislead as to who Sauron was. Númenor and Sauron storyline stayed somewhat true to the books but with a messed up timeline. As a whole it feels like wasted potential.

@LOTRonPrime @PrimeVideo I’d rather watch, “House of the Dragon” At least it resembles the work of the author who created the characters. I’m not sure who the source for “Rings of Power” is, but it’s not Tolkien. Sure the character names seem familiar, but that’s where the similarity ends.
