Just had my Firestick update its @PrimeVideo app. God the UI is absolutely awful. Oversized thumbnails, too much dead space, basically a poor man's Netflix rip off.Still has unnecessary & pointless categories.Every update Amazon does (music, Firestick UI, Prime Video) gets worse

I genuinely feel the algorithms work against them. You'd think media services would have their customers' best interest in mind but it is not so

A lot of people have trauma that dumps them into terrible depression, and some of us binge watch the darkest stuff- it's concurrent with, but not causing, the depression. I self medicate with very intense media- it helps.

. @PrimeVideo, your latest major update of the roku app is terrible. UI is ungodly slow and it kicks out of what I'm watching to the details page way too soon when paused. I don't think it even gives me 10 minutes! Why can't you simply leave it paused?

@perfidiousSH @netflix @PrimeVideo I guess what I'm saying is that it's possible all your observations are correct, but not abt the cause- they are having a tough time, that's what they do to feel less terrible, they *are* depressed and the depression is affecting their mental space- but the shows aren't the root?
