@shugosha @PrimeVideo I agree. I watched first 3 episodes. Subpar production, terrible writing, bad acting, pacing is off, story barely resembles the novels. I’m passing on the rest. GOT production was top notch, acting spectacular even if they diverged from novels.

@NetflixFilm @netflix one of the worst movies of all time amongst many from netflix that only contribute to their ever increasing plan rates due to ridiculous salaries so they can claim 'biggest'. at least @PrimeVideo includes 4K streams in its basic plan unlike netflix.

@makyou_1 I did a search for “Amazon Prime compression” and found this tweet. The compression artifacts during the new Wheel of Time series is awful. This show would be soooo much more beautiful if they gave us more bandwidth. @PrimeVideo is ruining their best show yet!

@Reepiceep @PrimeVideo I've seen consultants of the show trying to say it's a different turning of the wheel... they know they messed up bad so pulling out all the excuses, bet they haven't read the books in years. @BrandSanderson was against these god awful changes.

@LilDragonReborn @Vixen_Darkfairy @PrimeVideo I can access it on firestick in the UK. Pause and then up on the controller and select X-Ray. But I've seen a lot of people reporting problems accessing it in other regions, including the US, and it varies by device.

As someone who was a big fan of #TheWheelOfTime series of books, I was pretty skeptical about @PrimeVideo's take on it. Turns out I was right. The tone is all wrong, the guts are gratuitous, and the pacing is terrible. Strong C- grade, Almost a D.

@PrimeVideo It always kills me when cultish fan bases can’t handle some changes to their 40 year old story. People seem to have the biggest issue with Perrin, but honestly this helps the character because now you don’t have to read 100s of pages where he is voluntarily celibate for no reason

@rock_climber02 @PrimeVideo This is a bad show. The pacing is terrible, random scenes that do nothing to advance the plot, and they couldn't even manage to keep the camera still. It's not worth watching as a standalone show, and it doesn't even capture the mood of the Wheel of Time. Complete disaster.

@TheWheelOfTime @PrimeVideo I usually do not like the movies and/or serials of the books I'd read because they often disappointed me. I've watched the first three episodes and enjoyed very much. If the rest comes with the same quality that I'll relivere those days which without sleep but reading the book👍
