Sony detached Rafe to the development of GoW with Fergus/Ostby while he was starting s2 and s3 wasn’t even confirmed. Whatever his involvement truly is it’s clear both he and the studio, plus Amazon, think it can work

@Thechosenone875 @PrimeVideo Yes, this is why people are freaking out right now, but that means NOTHING about WoT. (Other than Amazon likes his work.) Many showrunners work on 2 shows at once. S3 of WoT is confirmed; he's in London working on it now. And he'll share showrunning duties for GoW with 2 others.

Live action has a lot of limitations like the actors you choose, the quality of costumes and CGI, etc. That's why I mentioned Halo and not Arcane or Edgerunners. Just the live action Blades of Chaos are worrying.
