We have outages every day. Complaints made days ago remain unresolved. Sometimes monkeys are blamed for cutting fibre cables with their bare teeth, sometimes a JCB trudges along, breaking an overhead Fibre Cable, or someone plays a mischief and cuts cables for fun. At times back end equipment malfunctions and even if Fibre is connected well, there is no Internet. Now I am using 4G signals to write this. Why doesn't BSNL lay underground cables permanently, avoid all these issues. Or is a Starlink deal with BSNL about to come through for remote areas?

Moh@n v@msi (@mhn_vam) reportedNo response from BSNL even after sending email regarding refund of security deposit for my closed copper broadband connection. My old copper broadband connection was closed during migration from Masab Tank to Bandlaguda Jagir because copper service was unavailable in the new area. As suggested by BSNL, FTTH connection was activated successfully with the same account details. However, the refundable security deposit amount is still pending. Requesting @BSNLCorporate @bsnl_tt @DoT_India to kindly look into this issue and help process the refund at the earliest. I can share connection/account details through DM if required.
