  BSNL has reportedly cut its FY27 fund requirement from ₹25,985 crore to ₹5,910 crore — a reduction of ₹20,075 crore, or about 77%. But read the number carefully: a specific fund requirement is not the same thing as the government’s total FY27 support for BSNL. The Union Budget separately provides ₹28,473 crore as capital infusion for technology upgrades and restructuring. The real test now is execution: network rollout, subscriber growth, ARPU improvement and BSNL’s ability to generate more of its own capital. The company is also targeting ₹8,000 crore from asset monetisation in FY27 to fund capex. Smaller ask. Same big test.

  Extremely disappointed with @BSNLCorporate in Mussalpur Haat, Patna. Bought a new number (09431463243) just to test the network, but the service is pathetic. No internet, even on the 4th floor, and online payments keep failing. Don't waste your money! 😡 #BSNL #Patna

  @Ethernetly Dear customer, Greetings of the day! To activate the VoLTE service, type 'ACTVOLTE' in a text message and send it to 53733. Once you do that, it might take up to 24 hours for the service to activate. Regards, BSNL-Care (Sangita)

  @BSNLCorporate @BSNL_KTK I am at BSNL CSC Hassan. I came here to get a proof of ownership certificate. But I am being sent back. Reason given is, the officer in charge has not issued similar certificate before. As a customer this is frustrating. Please help @MIB_India

  @neopalmtree01 @bsnl_care It was horrible. The service is very bad. The local BSNL office was very good with the new connection. They gave me an up-and-running 5G sim in less than 1 hour. ce. And I don't like slow internet. I have a gigabit fibre in my home since 2020

  Jio and airtel will go down because of BSNL? No way. The government gave away all the BSNL towers to Jio for free. It's not that easy for BSNL now.
