IRS coming for people trying to make money on ebay is really telling people they are NOT allowed to extend beyond their set income "class". If you're poor, you may not make more money. If you're middle class, you will never move up, only down.

Thank God the IRS is going after millionaires and billionaires. Instead of those people selling junk. Starting on Jan 1, 2022, eBay and other marketplaces are required by the IRS to issue a Form 1099-K for all sellers who receive $600 or more in sales.

@TPrevoJr @ReOpenChris You don't have it right. Most items on ebay are sold for less than the original cost basis and therefore legally do not create a tax burden. However, now the IRS will be able to shake down anyone for petty amounts because no one keeps receipts for old clothes...

As part of the American Rescue Plan, third-party e-commerce platforms like eBay, Poshmark, Mercari, Depop, and Tradesy will now have to issue a 1099-K tax form to anyone with a total revenue of more than $600 on their websites. It's gonna help us alot. Thank you o I'm sorry fu.

I bought 100 oz bar at 2011 when spot was down 40 cents only see the retailer raise the same bar price to 2061 on the same bar with spot was the same price. Premiums are increasing big.

Here's a warning for @eBay customers. Tracking numbers are being recycled so even though I bought an item in July, it says it was delivered in April. It was actually delivered August 17th. There was a problem but customer service keeps telling me I'm too late to get help!

@_marching_Ents_ Yes, PayPal are good as long as you have all your receipts. If it was from ebay they will also follow up any problems with purchases.
