Waited over a week for the replacement to arrive and when it did it wouldn’t sync either! Problem was finally fixed by someone in support who knew what they were doing.

They haven’t even bothered replying but then it’s probably because they’re inundated with the same problem - the move to Google isn’t working! Firstly, I start the “Run” on my Pixel Watch 4 and once I end it, it somehow ends up as “Workout” on the Health App and no stats. I change it to Run and only GPS is displayed but no cadence. @FitbitSupport

It is only about connecting them, not troubleshooting after they have been connected. What would be great is if FitBit would tell during exercise whether it is recording properly or not.
