And on this day, @fitbit died. It was a slow death - first came the email, then came the #challenges & the last gasp of #groups. Then the pain as thousands upon thousands fled as fitbit died in ignominy, mourned by many & then simply forgotten as @apple & @GarminFitness rejoiced.

@GarminFitness I do have another issue (this is day two of using my new Garmin) I cant get the wrist gesture to work. the mode is always on and the sensitivity is set to high but it still doesn't activate when I raise my wrist. Can you help please?

@GarminUK @GarminFitness - disappointed that my Forerunner 965 has broken after less than 3 years and the option is to buy a refurbished device at a price of £155. I expect a £600 watch to last longer than it has, especially as it’s not worn all day / everyday.

@GarminFitness Fitness age is now 30, did two lifts this week so it had a marginal negative effect on the running due to soreness even though it was limited reps. It was still the first time I've done those movements under load since August. Sunday as a recovery day should help.

1/n This is my 15th year with @GarminFitness watches and they still can’t get software right. Their watches are twice the price of apple watches but their software can’t get basics right. @Garmin coach workouts don’t sync with the watch, an issue reported on Reddit and Garmin forums for years. @MarkMilliganDPT @GarminFitness The wrist sensor can definitely get a little buggy if the wrist strap is too tight or too loose. Also, if you move your wrist into certain positions like extension with a little deviation it can get a little funky. For any real exercise, the chest strap is the way to go.

Ok @GarminFitness users. Need some tech problem solving. Turn on Fenix 5. Start jogging, heart rate is not accurate. Stop mid run cause it is frustrating. Stop Garmin. Turn off and back on. Put on wrist, heart rate is accurate. Software is up to date. Please help! #running
