Dave (@mad_hominem) reported@GarminFitness @Spotify having to suddenly spend 15 minutes reauthorising my music when I want to run on my lunch break is a seriously poor UX. Please sort this out.

Josh Lane (@joshlane34) reported@Garmin @GarminFitness A UX recommendation for your watches. If I forget to save my sleep activity in the morning before heading out on my run, my watch spends my whole run asking me if I want to save my sleep activity or dismiss the notification. It takes over my running display so none of my running data is readable. If I dismiss the notification, it takes me back to my normal watch face and I need to click multiple times to get back into my activity. And, within a minute or two the notification comes back anyway and the cycle repeats. If I click save, it almost always takes longer than my run to actually save the activity. My screen is frozen with "Saving" and the circling green indicator around the edges. I am unable to see my running data panels. I'm unable to pause a run, hit a lap timer, anything. It's just stuck on Saving. Today, it gave me "Saving" for the last 3 miles of my run, for the 10 minutes I spent cooling down and drinking water, and now still for the time it's taken me to write this suggestion. Basically, if I forget to save my sleep activity, and ensure that I've fully dismissed the sleep activity before my run, then my watch is unusable. I assume these are both bugs. If so, please add them to your list to fix if they're not already there. If they're not bugs and they're intended workflow, I have a few suggestions. 1. Dismissing the notification should dismiss it until after the current in-progress activity ends. 2. Dismissing the notification should take you back to the current in-progress activity. 3. Click "Save Activity" shouldn't cause the watch to lock up for an excessive amount of time. It should either save in the background if it takes a while, or save faster. Or, if neither of those is possible, it shouldn't be an option at all until after the current activity ends. 4. Prompt to save the previous unsaved activity once, before the new activity starts. 5. If none of the above are impossible, just suppress the whole interaction until there are no other in-progress activities. Thanks!

Trashatarian (@Trashatarian) reportedAbsolutely do NOT buy a @GarminFitness watch. The charging system is AWFUL. I have a Venu 2S and I'm on my 3rd charging cable in 3 yrs cause the pins keep breaking off. The best they offer is 50% off their garbage charging cable. I'll never buy another until they fix this tech

Ben (@TumoLPK) reported@GarminFitness @GarminUK I’ve got a HRM Dual that despite connecting to my watch will not read HR. I’ve replaced the battery, tried a different strap, and reset the HRM with no success. Seems to be really common issue online. How do I fix please?

Oscar Mike 🧗🏻♂️ (@Oscar_O_Neill) reportedAll this money for the ‘best smart watch on the market’ and it won’t even track sleep patterns properly. Garmin get you **** together and realise not everyone has a 9-5 job that allows you one window to sleep 🙄 @Garmin @GarminUK @GarminFitness
-
AaeJay (@AaeJay2008) reported@Garmin @GarminFitness 2. My watch has been with you for over a week. No updates until I contact you. Its a simple fix but every time I look for support, your agents say they will escalate it and then drop out of the chat. I have the screen recording as proof if you want.

Lars Ankile (@larsankile) reported@Garmin @GarminFitness also @Garmin I have this strange issue now that any time I finish a run it tells me I get all sorts of records, like longest run, fastest run, etc. even though it very much isn't, not even for that week (i.e., this includes Garmin data, not counting any imported data)

Melanie J (@only_little) reported@LadySayFuckALot @Garmin @GarminFitness I would be interested to know if they reply. Worst customer “service” ever. Love my watch but hate that you can never ask them anything 😢

Giles P. Croft (@gpcroft) reportedGrrr, after years of syncing Routes effortlessly from Strava, my @Garmin Edge 530 will no longer receive new Courses, by any means: iOS app, Garmin Express, USB connection, Send to device via Connect on Web – *nothing* gets them on there! Help @GarminFitness!

Nimish T (@t_nimish64935) reported@Garmin @GarminFitness genius product strategy. 1. Sell trainers with issues. 2. Have only one country wide service center, the user bears cost and risk to send bulky (25kg) courier. 3. Bluetooth drops off and it is termed as PCB/motherboard issue and cant be repaired. 1/n

Mahli (@Mah_Lan) reported@GarminFitness @Garmin the GPS on my Forerunner 645M is giving issues. Please help.

KDaltonD 🇺🇦 (@kdaltond) reportedSo, @garmin / @GarminFitness I'm told by Product Support that a ride launched thru downloaded Movies in Tacx desktop app doesn't count for a challenge that ride is a part of. Can that be right? That's a clear design flaw. Please fix.

Kanika.malhotra17@gmail.com (@KMalhotra17) reportedGarmin watch (Venu 2S) stopped working. Battery is gone within hardly 2 years. Battery cannot be replaced. What is the solution?? @Garmin @GarminFitness please help

Renato Villanueva (@_renatov) reportedI need your help. I've been a loyal @WHOOP user. I've been with them for 5+ years. But... i'm sick of it not giving me my distance on runs, but i love that the battery last 15 days AND that i get ZERO notifications from it. People recommend @GarminFitness, but i really don't want a smart watch. Just the best fitness tracker. Any thoughts?
