Sweating does not seem to matter. I tried starting by wetting it to simulate sweat. I even take the watch off and see if it calibrates but that does not help

Garmin should warranty it even out of window given the research use. If you want zero risk of repeat, Venu Sq 2 or Vivoactive 5 are sealed cases instead of the slide-in pod.

CT (@CarlJTaylor23) reported@GarminUK @GarminFitness - disappointed that my Forerunner 965 has broken after less than 3 years and the option is to buy a refurbished device at a price of £155. I expect a £600 watch to last longer than it has, especially as it’s not worn all day / everyday.
