She is really sad that she lost her 1000+ days goal streak and even more sad that her watch cannot be repaired. The support told us we would receive a discount for a new one but we received nothing. I’m in the Fenix 6 now, but occasionally I go through periods of getting a lot of false abnormally high heart rate alerts, and either restarting or updating the software will resolve it.

The only issue is that the battery charge only lasts 1 day (yes, that's the downfall). The screen also had a small group of dead pixels, but still works totally as intended. in 6yrs, took it off only to charge. 💯

Garmin should warranty it even out of window given the research use. If you want zero risk of repeat, Venu Sq 2 or Vivoactive 5 are sealed cases instead of the slide-in pod.
