@GarminFitness Hey, any insight you can shed on a Garmin Bike Radar (RTL500) kicking up a "Sensor Error 1:1" on my Edge? It happens a fair bit these days. TIA!

@GarminFitness Thanks for the reply, I tried all that multiple times. I bet there is an error in the firmware and/or software that controls the BLE connectivity.

@GarminFitness Can you fox your shipping challenges to help get the watch I ordered over a week ago. Ninja shipped a whole food processor in 2 days and you can't get me a watch inside a week.

@MarkMilliganDPT @GarminFitness The wrist sensor can definitely get a little buggy if the wrist strap is too tight or too loose. Also, if you move your wrist into certain positions like extension with a little deviation it can get a little funky. For any real exercise, the chest strap is the way to go.

Absolutely do NOT buy a @GarminFitness watch. The charging system is AWFUL. I have a Venu 2S and I'm on my 3rd charging cable in 3 yrs cause the pins keep breaking off. The best they offer is 50% off their garbage charging cable. I'll never buy another until they fix this tech

@GarminFitness why won’t my connect show intensity minutes anymore!?? I’ve tried to edit my day and remove and re-add intensity and nothing seems to fix this.

@MarkMilliganDPT @GarminFitness I think the wrist heart rate sensor is just kind of buggy. I’m in the Fenix 6 now, but occasionally I go through periods of getting a lot of false abnormally high heart rate alerts, and either restarting or updating the software will resolve it.

@marcelfahle @pepicrft @GarminFitness I'm on a 945 LTE. But I had (still have) a 230 that lasted 6yrs. The only issue is that the battery charge only lasts 1 day (yes, that's the downfall). The screen also had a small group of dead pixels, but still works totally as intended. in 6yrs, took it off only to charge. 💯

One problem I see right away with the @Garmin @GarminFitness HRM 600 is the connection between the strap and the pod, which you have to separate in order to charge the device...this pod is breaking at some point. What are my options when it does?

@Garmin @GarminFitness I just bought and tested your new Garmin D2 Mach 2 Pro: I have used an Apple Watch Ultra One since release, as comparison: The build quality of your product is so hilariously bad that after one hour of testing, I decided to send it back and request a refund. China Trash. Display (really bad black and contrast) and case quality (moves and makes noises, no working lunette) is a 4/10, in relation to 1700€ price tag a 2/10. On top: Your OS is so bloated, slow and you force users to install 5! different apps and still charge 10€ per month for satellite coverage (@Apple it is for free). Compared to my almost 4 years old Apple watch your watch feels and looks like a kids toy. I will wait for the Apple Watch Ultra 4 instead.

@GarminFitness @GarminUK I’ve got a HRM Dual that despite connecting to my watch will not read HR. I’ve replaced the battery, tried a different strap, and reset the HRM with no success. Seems to be really common issue online. How do I fix please?

Can you support me get my watch fixed @GarminFitness? I got a number for garmin Kenya. The 1st call was answered, the solution they gave didn’t work, they have since not answered calls or WhatsApp. My device keeps going off, battery shows 100%, I’ve rebooted, problem persists.

Tbh I feel a bit misled by all of the articles claiming the @GarminFitness Forerunner 955 was the best fitness watch ever. I read SO many articles & did research before buying. To end up with something so poorly performing, slow, and buggy? Did we buy the same watch!?

  • Omkar_Pradhan7

@Garmin @Garmin_India @GarminFitness I always believed Garmin stood for reliability and quality. Sadly, my experience has been the complete opposite. I purchased an Instinct 3 (50mm) in May 2025. Within 5 months, it had a battery defect and was replaced (Sep 2025). Seven months later, in May 2026, the replacement unit started malfunctioning with pace tracking. I spent nearly a week without my watch while it was at the service center. Then, just a month later in June, the same replacement device developed a heart rate sensor issue. I’ve now been informed that this unit will also be replaced. That means I’ll be on my third device in just 14 months. I requested a simple exception: allow me to switch to a different Garmin model, and I’m happy to pay the price difference. This request has been declined. Can someone explain why? As a customer, I’ve repeatedly faced training disruptions because of defective hardware. Every issue has been verified by your own service team. At what point does customer experience become important enough to justify an exception? I’m not asking for a free upgrade. I’m only asking for a chance to move away from a model that has repeatedly failed me, while paying the difference myself. I expected better from a brand known for building products athletes can depend on.

@GarminFitness Is it possible to change the Connect calorie display back to the previous version? The new update now takes me directly to the worst version of MFP. I miss the simple display.

I really think there’s something wrong with this watch. How does my HR go down from 110bpm to 80bpm during/after 10 minutes of running??? 2 weeks ago it went as far down as 60 and I was dripping sweat from running. Explain that @GarminFitness ???

@GarminFitness I'm shocked and annoyed that Garmin is trashing up the app that syncs with my venue 2s. I have to scroll down or x it out to see my data. Grrrr. It is getting old but I won't be replacing it with another Garmin device.
