AmeliaBaldreeNichols (@starlitdazzle) reportedWaking up to find out @GarminFitness changed its Garmin Connect All Activities view and it's terrible. How can I return to the minimized version of ystrday where I could see more data on the screen? I don't need or want this maximized version with icons where I see less actvities

Josh Lane (@joshlane34) reported@Garmin @GarminFitness A UX recommendation for your watches. If I forget to save my sleep activity in the morning before heading out on my run, my watch spends my whole run asking me if I want to save my sleep activity or dismiss the notification. It takes over my running display so none of my running data is readable. If I dismiss the notification, it takes me back to my normal watch face and I need to click multiple times to get back into my activity. And, within a minute or two the notification comes back anyway and the cycle repeats. If I click save, it almost always takes longer than my run to actually save the activity. My screen is frozen with "Saving" and the circling green indicator around the edges. I am unable to see my running data panels. I'm unable to pause a run, hit a lap timer, anything. It's just stuck on Saving. Today, it gave me "Saving" for the last 3 miles of my run, for the 10 minutes I spent cooling down and drinking water, and now still for the time it's taken me to write this suggestion. Basically, if I forget to save my sleep activity, and ensure that I've fully dismissed the sleep activity before my run, then my watch is unusable. I assume these are both bugs. If so, please add them to your list to fix if they're not already there. If they're not bugs and they're intended workflow, I have a few suggestions. 1. Dismissing the notification should dismiss it until after the current in-progress activity ends. 2. Dismissing the notification should take you back to the current in-progress activity. 3. Click "Save Activity" shouldn't cause the watch to lock up for an excessive amount of time. It should either save in the background if it takes a while, or save faster. Or, if neither of those is possible, it shouldn't be an option at all until after the current activity ends. 4. Prompt to save the previous unsaved activity once, before the new activity starts. 5. If none of the above are impossible, just suppress the whole interaction until there are no other in-progress activities. Thanks!

Serah Mwihaki (@mwihakiwanjeri) reported@GarminFitness My Garmin Solar Instinct keeps going off and won’t turn back on unless connected to power. The battery is fully charged. What could be the issue?

Dalton DeVore (@livestrong829) reportedIs there a class action lawsuit out there against @Garmin or @GarminFitness that I can jump in on? There is no way it is legal to have a watch this bad at monitoring heart rate.

Omkar Pradhan (@Omkar_Pradhan7) reported@Garmin @Garmin_India @GarminFitness I always believed Garmin stood for reliability and quality. Sadly, my experience has been the complete opposite. I purchased an Instinct 3 (50mm) in May 2025. Within 5 months, it had a battery defect and was replaced (Sep 2025). Seven months later, in May 2026, the replacement unit started malfunctioning with pace tracking. I spent nearly a week without my watch while it was at the service center. Then, just a month later in June, the same replacement device developed a heart rate sensor issue. I’ve now been informed that this unit will also be replaced. That means I’ll be on my third device in just 14 months. I requested a simple exception: allow me to switch to a different Garmin model, and I’m happy to pay the price difference. This request has been declined. Can someone explain why? As a customer, I’ve repeatedly faced training disruptions because of defective hardware. Every issue has been verified by your own service team. At what point does customer experience become important enough to justify an exception? I’m not asking for a free upgrade. I’m only asking for a chance to move away from a model that has repeatedly failed me, while paying the difference myself. I expected better from a brand known for building products athletes can depend on.

Florence Sharts (@shan_tahs) reported@GarminFitness my watch battery is draining incredibly fast. It's the forerunner 945. I charged it fully last evening and it was dead at 6am this morning. How do I fix this?

AaeJay (@AaeJay2008) reported@Garmin @GarminFitness 1. what's up with your poor customer service? How many times do I need to contact you for support. You told me my Forerunner 165 has a known battery issue and will exchange it out. I was promised next day shipping on the exchange. My watch has been with

Johann Philipp Steger (@steger_johann) reported@SixPointerGuy @Garmin @GarminFitness Same Problem with my 1040 Solar. Used to upload activities after pushing stop button.

AaeJay (@AaeJay2008) reported@Garmin @GarminFitness 2. My watch has been with you for over a week. No updates until I contact you. Its a simple fix but every time I look for support, your agents say they will escalate it and then drop out of the chat. I have the screen recording as proof if you want.

Dave (@wanderingdave) reportedHelp @GarminFitness , make your own and don't you dare pay wall it.

CT (@CarlJTaylor23) reported@GarminUK @GarminFitness - disappointed that my Forerunner 965 has broken after less than 3 years and the option is to buy a refurbished device at a price of £155. I expect a £600 watch to last longer than it has, especially as it’s not worn all day / everyday.

MrsKillJoy616 (@librarykat) reported@Garmin @GarminFitness Ever since I updated your app a few days ago, my notifications won't consistently send through to my watch. I've had to uninstall and reinstall your app multiple times a day to try to get this basic function to work. I've tried to connect with help over this, but that isn't really working either. I would just like a basic function of my watch to work.

atlantaswelder (@atlantaswelder) reportedI really despise some commentary from some of these health metrics. @GarminFitness Nothing worse than someone/saying "i don't know if you're gunna make it" ... wtf Fu MF ;$:$4&:$;$/&7$:! F off 🤬 Just tell the me the data. That's all i require. I don't need your baseline

Sudhanshu Sehgal (@sudhanshu1011) reportedMy POV regarding this. I started running in June of 2020 and ran with a Casio watch till November of 2024. Then planned to buy a watch and was confused b/w Coros & Garmin. I went for Coros Pace Pro and it was the latest watch from their side at that time because it got released a month before. Pace Pro hasn't still been launched in India and I had to get it from US. Battery of Pace Pro is quite good. First hand experience of this from my side- I ran a 24 Hour Stadium Run in March of 2025 where I covered 175 KM in a span of 24 hours. The battery of the watch at the start of the race was 98 or 99% battery. After 24 hours, 50% battery was still remaining which I can bet none of the entry level watches from Garmin could do. Another recent experience of one of my friends who is a Coros user. His Pace-3 button stooped working & it had been 18 months since the point of buy. He raised the ticket for this concern and it got exchanged and this happened in India where Coros even doesn't have a single offline outlet I guess & it's presence is quite limited. If it would have been Garmin, it wouldn't have been replaced because Garmin comes with 1-year limited manufacturer's warranty whereas Coros comes with 2-year limited warranty starting from the original activation date. This is a pretty big difference. This is not a biased post regarding Coros because I am a Coros user but this is just my perspective and still I stand that entry level Coros watches are way more good especially in the context of battery. Recently one of my friends bought Garmin 265 Music & he himself says that it's battery is not that good. If you want to buy Garmin, buy it. It is good but the point is what is your purpose behind buying either a Garmin or a Coros. Entry level Coros watches battery are way more longer than the entry level watches of Garmin. @COROSGlobal @Garmin @GarminFitness

Vahid (@vahidlazio) reported@Stolen_Kishka @Garmin is that a garmin that security forces in Iran are using? Are they using your tactical watches to shoot at people? They are snipers. They shot many iranian peaceful protesters. Is your ballistic feature working in Iran?! Wtf @GarminFitness

poyntesm (@poyntesm) reported. @GarminFitness seeing runs recorded today while Connect was down have now synced to Strava but not @TrainingPeaks anyway to repush them?
-
Harish Shinde (@hvs_1988) reported@Garmin @GarminFitness kindly change your testing teams who tests products. FR 745 is utterly disappointment for its name. It never syncs properly. Worst battery performance, even it wont stand 100km ride not sure how come its boasted as triathlete one.

Trashatarian (@Trashatarian) reportedAbsolutely do NOT buy a @GarminFitness watch. The charging system is AWFUL. I have a Venu 2S and I'm on my 3rd charging cable in 3 yrs cause the pins keep breaking off. The best they offer is 50% off their garbage charging cable. I'll never buy another until they fix this tech

Marilu Carvallo (@MariluCarvallo) reported@GarminFitness I own two Scales S2, one home and other for my beach house, why I dont get all the information on my second scale? I find it absourd. Fix that please, both under my Garmin account.

Marty (@Marty_FTT) reported@amymitchellart @GarminFitness @scrippsresearch Vivosmart 5 had a known module-pop issue, the pill literally ejects from the band. Garmin should warranty it even out of window given the research use. If you want zero risk of repeat, Venu Sq 2 or Vivoactive 5 are sealed cases instead of the slide-in pod.

Aaron Lassiter 🌵 (@aaron_lassiter) reported@GarminFitness Stop forcing the useless "estimated distance" for timed runs on us. That garbage does nothing positive and whatever project lead was in charge of it should have to publicly apologize for not building in an option to toggle it off.
