Garmin should warranty it even out of window given the research use. If you want zero risk of repeat, Venu Sq 2 or Vivoactive 5 are sealed cases instead of the slide-in pod.

I’m in the Fenix 6 now, but occasionally I go through periods of getting a lot of false abnormally high heart rate alerts, and either restarting or updating the software will resolve it.

Tom Shugart (@tshugart3) reported@GarminFitness That graph with all the missing data was from a sync via my computer and Garmin Express. Disappointing that there's nothing else to be done (the support center stuff doesn't help). What I think it needs is an update, and it sounds like that's not forthcoming.
