@FitbitSupport Why is your mobile app now so awful? Ver 4.52.1 running under Android 14, logs me out every night, loses the last 5000 steps and other activities of the previous day, won't store the first 3 ECG traces after logging in. Really poor. A living ad for @GarminFitness

@Garmin @GarminFitness A UX recommendation for your watches. If I forget to save my sleep activity in the morning before heading out on my run, my watch spends my whole run asking me if I want to save my sleep activity or dismiss the notification. It takes over my running display so none of my running data is readable. If I dismiss the notification, it takes me back to my normal watch face and I need to click multiple times to get back into my activity. And, within a minute or two the notification comes back anyway and the cycle repeats. If I click save, it almost always takes longer than my run to actually save the activity. My screen is frozen with "Saving" and the circling green indicator around the edges. I am unable to see my running data panels. I'm unable to pause a run, hit a lap timer, anything. It's just stuck on Saving. Today, it gave me "Saving" for the last 3 miles of my run, for the 10 minutes I spent cooling down and drinking water, and now still for the time it's taken me to write this suggestion. Basically, if I forget to save my sleep activity, and ensure that I've fully dismissed the sleep activity before my run, then my watch is unusable. I assume these are both bugs. If so, please add them to your list to fix if they're not already there. If they're not bugs and they're intended workflow, I have a few suggestions. 1. Dismissing the notification should dismiss it until after the current in-progress activity ends. 2. Dismissing the notification should take you back to the current in-progress activity. 3. Click "Save Activity" shouldn't cause the watch to lock up for an excessive amount of time. It should either save in the background if it takes a while, or save faster. Or, if neither of those is possible, it shouldn't be an option at all until after the current activity ends. 4. Prompt to save the previous unsaved activity once, before the new activity starts. 5. If none of the above are impossible, just suppress the whole interaction until there are no other in-progress activities. Thanks!

@MarkMilliganDPT @GarminFitness I think the wrist heart rate sensor is just kind of buggy. I’m in the Fenix 6 now, but occasionally I go through periods of getting a lot of false abnormally high heart rate alerts, and either restarting or updating the software will resolve it.

@Stolen_Kishka @Garmin is that a garmin that security forces in Iran are using? Are they using your tactical watches to shoot at people? They are snipers. They shot many iranian peaceful protesters. Is your ballistic feature working in Iran?! Wtf @GarminFitness

@Garmin @GarminFitness also @Garmin I have this strange issue now that any time I finish a run it tells me I get all sorts of records, like longest run, fastest run, etc. even though it very much isn't, not even for that week (i.e., this includes Garmin data, not counting any imported data)

  • TheStroBro
    AC (@TheStroBro) reported

@GarminFitness Fitness age is now 30, did two lifts this week so it had a marginal negative effect on the running due to soreness even though it was limited reps. It was still the first time I've done those movements under load since August. Sunday as a recovery day should help.

One problem I see right away with the @Garmin @GarminFitness HRM 600 is the connection between the strap and the pod, which you have to separate in order to charge the device...this pod is breaking at some point. What are my options when it does?

I need your help. I've been a loyal @WHOOP user. I've been with them for 5+ years. But... i'm sick of it not giving me my distance on runs, but i love that the battery last 15 days AND that i get ZERO notifications from it. People recommend @GarminFitness, but i really don't want a smart watch. Just the best fitness tracker. Any thoughts?

Tbh I feel a bit misled by all of the articles claiming the @GarminFitness Forerunner 955 was the best fitness watch ever. I read SO many articles & did research before buying. To end up with something so poorly performing, slow, and buggy? Did we buy the same watch!?

Absolutely do NOT buy a @GarminFitness watch. The charging system is AWFUL. I have a Venu 2S and I'm on my 3rd charging cable in 3 yrs cause the pins keep breaking off. The best they offer is 50% off their garbage charging cable. I'll never buy another until they fix this tech

And on this day, @fitbit died. It was a slow death - first came the email, then came the #challenges & the last gasp of #groups. Then the pain as thousands upon thousands fled as fitbit died in ignominy, mourned by many & then simply forgotten as @apple & @GarminFitness rejoiced.

Can you support me get my watch fixed @GarminFitness? I got a number for garmin Kenya. The 1st call was answered, the solution they gave didn’t work, they have since not answered calls or WhatsApp. My device keeps going off, battery shows 100%, I’ve rebooted, problem persists.

So, @garmin / @GarminFitness I'm told by Product Support that a ride launched thru downloaded Movies in Tacx desktop app doesn't count for a challenge that ride is a part of. Can that be right? That's a clear design flaw. Please fix.
