R. Red R. (@johnmayer689) reported@GarminFitness @Derico42799367 I will be taking my money elsewhere. You are a 💩 greedy, ***** company with worst software on this planet.
-
Chris Manc (@ChrisManc9) reported@GarminFitness I'm shocked and annoyed that Garmin is trashing up the app that syncs with my venue 2s. I have to scroll down or x it out to see my data. Grrrr. It is getting old but I won't be replacing it with another Garmin device.

Marc J. Randazza 🇺🇸 🇮🇹 🇧🇷 (@marcorandazza) reported@Apple - my Apple Watch **** the bed and you’re gonna take a week to get it back to me? Guess that gives me a week to try out a @GarminFitness watch and see if I’m ready to swap ecosystems.

E_A_L_II🇺🇲 (@E_A_L_II) reported@GarminFitness @JohnStraumann Garmin is trash. Nobody should invest in this company

Deep General Research Institute (@DGR_Institute) reported@Garmin @GarminFitness I just bought and tested your new 2026 Garmin D2 Mach 2 Pro: I have used an Apple Watch Ultra One since release, as comparison (half the price of your watch): The build quality of your product is so hilariously bad that after one hour of testing, I decided to send it back and request a refund. Absolute China Trash. The display resolution and quality (yes I removed the display sticker lol) looks like from 2008 and the case makes noise like a kids toy. It’s heavy and bumpy too. Even the satellite emergency function, that you charge ten euros per month for, I get at Apple for free of charge. I will never buy anything from Garmin again. Worst company ever.

Brahma N (@brahma_n) reported1/n This is my 15th year with @GarminFitness watches and they still can’t get software right. Their watches are twice the price of apple watches but their software can’t get basics right. @Garmin coach workouts don’t sync with the watch, an issue reported on Reddit and Garmin forums for years. There are hundreds of threads -

Renato Villanueva (@_renatov) reportedI need your help. I've been a loyal @WHOOP user. I've been with them for 5+ years. But... i'm sick of it not giving me my distance on runs, but i love that the battery last 15 days AND that i get ZERO notifications from it. People recommend @GarminFitness, but i really don't want a smart watch. Just the best fitness tracker. Any thoughts?

Jacob Yadao (@Jacob_Yadao) reported@GarminFitness uhh outage?
-
Marty (@Marty_FTT) reported@amymitchellart @GarminFitness @scrippsresearch Vivosmart 5 had a known module-pop issue, the pill literally ejects from the band. Garmin should warranty it even out of window given the research use. If you want zero risk of repeat, Venu Sq 2 or Vivoactive 5 are sealed cases instead of the slide-in pod.

🇺🇸God Bless America (@CCPmustDie) reported@Garmin @GarminFitness have you realized there are so many exercise not listed in Connect when you're trying to create your own workouts there. Fix it by adding them! And your interface to create workouts sucks. Fix it! Don't just selling crazy expensive smart watches.
-
erin link (@TennislinkE) reported@GarminFitness my charging cable melted my port and fried my Vivoactive 3 is there any fix?
-
Quin Bond (@njergonomics) reported@MarkMilliganDPT @GarminFitness The wrist sensor can definitely get a little buggy if the wrist strap is too tight or too loose. Also, if you move your wrist into certain positions like extension with a little deviation it can get a little funky. For any real exercise, the chest strap is the way to go.

Vahid (@vahidlazio) reported@Stolen_Kishka @Garmin is that a garmin that security forces in Iran are using? Are they using your tactical watches to shoot at people? They are snipers. They shot many iranian peaceful protesters. Is your ballistic feature working in Iran?! Wtf @GarminFitness

Josh Lane (@joshlane34) reported@Garmin @GarminFitness A UX recommendation for your watches. If I forget to save my sleep activity in the morning before heading out on my run, my watch spends my whole run asking me if I want to save my sleep activity or dismiss the notification. It takes over my running display so none of my running data is readable. If I dismiss the notification, it takes me back to my normal watch face and I need to click multiple times to get back into my activity. And, within a minute or two the notification comes back anyway and the cycle repeats. If I click save, it almost always takes longer than my run to actually save the activity. My screen is frozen with "Saving" and the circling green indicator around the edges. I am unable to see my running data panels. I'm unable to pause a run, hit a lap timer, anything. It's just stuck on Saving. Today, it gave me "Saving" for the last 3 miles of my run, for the 10 minutes I spent cooling down and drinking water, and now still for the time it's taken me to write this suggestion. Basically, if I forget to save my sleep activity, and ensure that I've fully dismissed the sleep activity before my run, then my watch is unusable. I assume these are both bugs. If so, please add them to your list to fix if they're not already there. If they're not bugs and they're intended workflow, I have a few suggestions. 1. Dismissing the notification should dismiss it until after the current in-progress activity ends. 2. Dismissing the notification should take you back to the current in-progress activity. 3. Click "Save Activity" shouldn't cause the watch to lock up for an excessive amount of time. It should either save in the background if it takes a while, or save faster. Or, if neither of those is possible, it shouldn't be an option at all until after the current activity ends. 4. Prompt to save the previous unsaved activity once, before the new activity starts. 5. If none of the above are impossible, just suppress the whole interaction until there are no other in-progress activities. Thanks!

Jon loves summertime! (@JonB65) reported@TechOperator I've been using @GarminFitness for years. Unfortunately I couldn't wear it at work. Pretty sure I didn't need it to tell me my poor sleep and high stress. If I had, I may well have quit.

Mark Dalman (@mdalman34) reported@GarminFitness my app is not updating any more from my Venu. Can someone contact me to help?

Tom McQuain 🌮❤️ (@runtommcquain) reported@Garmin @GarminFitness got a question about my forerunner 245 music. The heart rate is set and is on, the VO2 max recording is on, and for the last 6 days it hasn't recorded any sleep. I just did the power off by holding the power in for 15 seconds and rebooted how to fix this?

Omkar Pradhan (@Omkar_Pradhan7) reported@Garmin @Garmin_India @GarminFitness I always believed Garmin stood for reliability and quality. Sadly, my experience has been the complete opposite. I purchased an Instinct 3 (50mm) in May 2025. Within 5 months, it had a battery defect and was replaced (Sep 2025). Seven months later, in May 2026, the replacement unit started malfunctioning with pace tracking. I spent nearly a week without my watch while it was at the service center. Then, just a month later in June, the same replacement device developed a heart rate sensor issue. I’ve now been informed that this unit will also be replaced. That means I’ll be on my third device in just 14 months. I requested a simple exception: allow me to switch to a different Garmin model, and I’m happy to pay the price difference. This request has been declined. Can someone explain why? As a customer, I’ve repeatedly faced training disruptions because of defective hardware. Every issue has been verified by your own service team. At what point does customer experience become important enough to justify an exception? I’m not asking for a free upgrade. I’m only asking for a chance to move away from a model that has repeatedly failed me, while paying the difference myself. I expected better from a brand known for building products athletes can depend on.

Jeanette Smith (@jeanettemiami) reportedAnd on this day, @fitbit died. It was a slow death - first came the email, then came the #challenges & the last gasp of #groups. Then the pain as thousands upon thousands fled as fitbit died in ignominy, mourned by many & then simply forgotten as @apple & @GarminFitness rejoiced.

Trashatarian (@Trashatarian) reportedAbsolutely do NOT buy a @GarminFitness watch. The charging system is AWFUL. I have a Venu 2S and I'm on my 3rd charging cable in 3 yrs cause the pins keep breaking off. The best they offer is 50% off their garbage charging cable. I'll never buy another until they fix this tech
