By switching every light in the house to LED, installing a @googlenest thermostat, setting lights on a timer and dialing down the temp on our water heater, our household saved over $150 on @NIPSCO utilities over the last year. #bigthingshavesmallbeginnings

@googlenest so we bought a nest battery operated alert in 2019 and now it is telling us there is a sensor issue and it needs to be replaced? After 2 years?? Really?

@googlenesthelp Ok. Would help if you had that on your website to avoid the likes of me contacting you! I’ve found a universal adapter on Amazon thankfully, although would have preferred the Google branded version.

@googlenesthelp my nest thermostat lost WiFi connection today - I have gone through all steps nothing works. Other google devices in my house work fine - the thermostat finds no networks at all. It’s only a few months old. Help!

@ragusel @troyhunt @googlenest No air quality also because it detects CO (bad combustion, toxic emergency), not CO2 (exhaled by humans, indicator of air quality).

has anyone working @googlenest ever used the web UI for (multiple) cameras for any amount of time? It's truly a bad experience and performs really poor in all browsers even on some of the most performant machines, the recommendation is to open more browsers to see all of them too

@googlenesthelp seems I have the same issue with my Nest thermostat. Suddenly lost network connection and will not reconnect. There’s been no change on my network and all other devices connect as they should. Followed your online support by no joy.

@troyhunt @googlenest There was one thanksgiving when the turkey basin sprung a leak and the house filled with smoke but we had to keep cooking. The poor Protects couldn’t handle it. I had to take them all down and stick them in the beer fridge for a couple hours so they would stop yelling.

@googlenesthelp if you are truly in partnership to support the Matter standard for devices, this should not be an issue. You cannot be a steward for the planet with mandated obsolescence, increased eWaste and lingering user experience. Support your products. Fix the childish quarrel with Apple

@google @googlenest Literally the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. When the customer service rep says “I’m not just going to tell you something to make you happy” that’s when you realized it’s not about the customer.

@googlenesthelp This was a feature removed from the device with no notice. You’ve made it very difficult for those of us with elderly parents who cannot accommodate for any of your new device suggestions. And honestly, why would I buy an android or google device after this experience? Fix it.

@googlenesthelp Thanks. I have 2 Nest Learning Thermostats 2nd gen. The one downstairs works fine and is online. The upstairs one went offline yesterday and said “failure to connect”. I tried resetting the thermostat, reset the network, reset all nest WiFi routers and points.

Another horrible and unprofessional experience with @googlenesthelp who directed my wife to improperly wire our thermostat at the end of winter while troubleshooting. Told to call a 3rd party technician who identified the issue but charged a hefty fee. Google refuses to reimburse

@googlenesthelp (2) then I did a factory reset to the upstairs thermostat- and deleted it from the nest app and google home app. Then tried to reconnect it to the nest app and made it to connecting to the internet and then I got an m15 error: “Your thermostat couldn’t be added to your account”
