Is Google Nest down?

@BOBMCD1 @googlenest Same here. In Dublin. It’s been giving me an error message related to Apple Music not being enabled (irrelevant) and then “2fm from tunein” not found. It used to work with a simple, “play 2fm” then it worked with “play RTÉ 2fm from tunein” but now it’s unavailable. Very annoying

@Ndola19 @googlenest its NOT your device thats broken its googles system is down. Has been for the last few days. My google hub max is just white screen so getting screen burn with this outage. Hope they will replace it as its just white for 2 days now.

@googlenest So, that’s the issue. I’m in India. But, hey, I’m a customer too! When will Apple Music support roll out in India?

@hippielunatic @googlenest it was worldwide news 3 days ago and they are still blaming us, the end user for their fault. We dont need to reboot or reset or even update, they need to get off their asses and fix the problem.

@googlenest Thank you for the response. If you look at my Twitter history and Google support forums you'll see Google has made this claim several times. Is there a time frame for this issue being fixed?

@googlenest Hey both myself and a friend are having the same issue.... asking google assistant to set a timer is not working. A third friend has no issues. Google responds "I think you want to set a timer, is that correct"... saying "yes" results in "Sorry, I don't understand"

If anyone is thinking of getting a @GoogleNest audio speaker, my advice is don't. They're horrifically glitchy and can barely make it through two songs before announcing an error.

@tunein @googlenest @RTE2fm "Ok Google, Play 2FM" is currently broken on #GoogleHome. It replies "Apple Music isn't currently available in your country". Even "Ask TuneIn to play 2FM" says that it isn't available. Casting from the TuneIn app does work, but is defeats the purpose

@googlenesthelp @madebygoogle So you've decided to end the experiment with Home Max. Are you planning to fix the latency issue before you turn down support?

@googlenest I think there first time I noticed an issue was around 1 pm eastern today. All Homes and Minis (and I have, well, A LOT) say variation of "yo, there's a problem, try again soon."

@googlenesthelp did yall fix the problem with Bluetooth randomly disconnecting when paired with phones? Or is this still a on going issue?

@googlenesthelp Hey there - I’ve had my Nest about a year, and today it disconnected from my WiFi and will not find the network again. I went through all of the steps listed on the community, and I know my WiFi is fine - help!

Hey @Google, @googlenest when you update your Nest Hub Max and it disconnects Yale locks, your entire Nest security system and your Smoke detectors….you would think you might want to publicly acknowledge that instead telling us to reboot, yet again. Worst. Service. Ever.

@googlenest Other speakers in my house are doing the same issue, clipping sentences short, and repeatedly misunderstanding things despite me enunciating clearly and loudly. The word "six" sounds nothing like "two" for example. On and off sound totally different but they get this mixed up too

@googlenesthelp I cannot get a live stream from my external nest cameras. Is there a problem with live streaming at the moment?

@MICKYIMP @googlenesthelp They only show offline in the app. They are still connected to the nest secure. This is something on nests side that they caused from the firmware update in the Google WIFI

@googlenest @gmail Yup(@gmail). Requests to turn on /off lights (hue & non), plugs, on the hubs it seems to pick up the command but says I can’t help with that or power controls aren’t supported repeated tries of exact same commands eventually work. Household members get told can’t voice match rnd

@googlenest System of devices has been in place for at least a couple of years, I think. Never had an issue last this long, or past my basic troubleshooting before.

@googlenest Been the case since day 1, got two cameras but the rear garden one drops out constantly as its on the edge of the WiFi. Boosters don't help.

and if the argument is they're terrible looking as to be a deterrent, thats nonsense, you need up close hidden cameras that can actually identify perps. @LOREXTECHNOLOGY @ArloSmartHome @googlenest

@googlenesthelp Not an issue on my iPhone. The schedule goes full screen there.

@googlenest The problem isn't the Nest -- it recognizes children's voices just fine -- it's that @youtubemusic has age restrictions that @GooglePlayMusic didn't have.

@samanth28660481 @googlenesthelp I have the same issue. Tried to reset both thermostat and heatlink but got the same H71 error.

@googlenest I didn't issue a command to it. That's just the "Your evening" card it displays when you approach it.

One of the worst products I have bought for my home is a Google Nest camera. It has a badly designed, slow app, a subscription-only service to look back at your own camera recordings, and it frequently cuts out. @googlenest

The @googlenest mini speakers are the worst don’t waste your money ....... caveat emptor
