The amount of times that the so-called @googlenest “smart” thermostat has decided it’s ok to go outside the programmed temperature range is unreal. Easily the worst piece of tech I’ve ever owned. They’re too busy doing climate whacko **** to make a quality product.

@googlenesthelp I have a 3rd gen Nest learning thermostat and the heat link has failed. I have tried all the troubleshooting suggestions on your support site. It seems that this is a known issue and that replacements are being offered - can you help with this please? UK based.

@googlenesthelp This has been the issue since i bought them a week ago. It's never worked. I've removed all from Google home, did factory reset on hub AND doorbell. Still, no fees when the doorbell rings. If I ask the hub to show me the camera, it'll show me with no problems.

@googlenesthelp I have a 3rd generation Nest learning thermostat, only for four months now and still under warranty. I’m getting a w5 error code as it can’t pick up Wi-Fi signals and connect to the internet. I was told purchase new one and send old one back to get a refund

Where’s the setting to turn off responses on my @googlenest speakers? I never want to hear “ALRIGHT TURNING ON OFFICE LIGHT” blasting back at 2:30am. I can’t turn speaker volume down because it’s also our white noise machine. #dumbassistants

@googlenesthelp Stand behind your product and improve your warranties. A $300 thermostat shouldn’t die after 4 years. The base plate is the obvious problem yet you won’t send me a replacement because it’s out of the 2 year warranty? Be better!

@googlenesthelp hi. The app has been displaying error all day saying there was a problem when trying to connect to nest service. I can't setup my smoke alarms or control heat . Is this a known issue ?

One of the astounding and utterly useless things I own is @googlenest Protect, the CO/fire detector. Came with the house I bought It’s been offline for…20 hrs for no reason, and no notification. Can’t believe people think this **** is useful. It’s so dangerous.

Can someone explain why @GoogleNest/#GoogleHome is so terrible for home automation and even just basic home assistant stuff? The only thing they've got going for them over the Echo ecosystem is a better speaker on some of their video units. Otherwise, it's just fail fail fail.

@googlenesthelp seriously, who designed the battery compartment in the Nest 2. What a poor piece of work, impossible to replace the blinking batteries. #badlyDone

@ecobee app is having "technical difficulties" so you can't do what you probably bought a smart thermostat for. Then the app sends you to a status website... That is offline. I'm getting a @googlenest ASAP

@HuygensCassini1 @googlenest @Google I used to work at Google, so I literally know what building to tailgate someone into so I can walk up to the Nest team and say, "Hey, WTF?" but I would hope it would never have to come to that.

@googlenesthelp Confirmed, also happening with my partners device/login. Attempted on both wifi and cellular on a separate iPad too. Seems like something on the backend with our home settings/database. I got logged out when I removed the original nest thermostat from our home.

@googlenesthelp Yes. Make your devices and your home app stable and not go offline even though they are plugged in. 10 year old AirPort Express works better than your 2 year old device.

@googlenest just installed thermostat nearly 2 months ago. What is the point of having a device you can control from your phone for sole purpose of saving energy if it’s constantly going offline? We have troubleshooted everything - what gives?

@raining_bows @googlenesthelp Nope. Same message. Talked to their customer service department and they didn’t know and suggested internet problems. Still offline as of now.
