@googlenesthelp I’m using iOS. The same problem for YEARS. I’ve changed phones many times since I’ve first started to experience this. It’s simple: if you want to see a fresh footage by tapping on push notification, it DOES NOT LOAD.

@madebygoogle @googlenesthelp Not getting a discount for Nest Wifi outside US was already sad, but would really wish you stop rubbing it in repeatedly by resending the same email again and again! I want to buy Google products but this is just sad + bad planning.

@EngadgetDeals Just ended a 2yr + subscription with @googlenest due to a poor experience with account support. They assume transition costs are high enough to be able to force existing customers onto worse subscription plans over the years. Avoid this one.

@googlenesthelp The Nest app with both of my two cameras has the same issue. The google home app is a bit better but doesn’t allow (that I can see) seeking to specific times. I only see detected events. (And it doesn’t notice Myna birds flying inside my house as events).

@googlenest So we get an email inviting us to sign up for a new Nest subscription through the google store. We sign up & get billed $60, then a few days later get billed $100 for our old subscription. Called customer svc twice and they are not able to help. What scam is this?

@googlenesthelp Negative to other devices nearby. It’s in a hallway by itself. iPhone 13 Pro Max. I disconnected one of the other thermostats and re-added it without issue, I don’t believe it’s the phone. Software is updated on the therm. Turned off and back on multiple times.

TIP: When buying @googlenest devices you can't use them with G-Suite (Google) accounts. You're required to use Gmail (Google) accounts instead. So when you consider buying @google stock keep this in mind cause they bought Nest 8 years ago & still haven't figured this out #WTF

Nest cameras have to be the worst when you need them. Ring the doorbell and doorbell reboots. Try to use camera and all you get is a spinning circle, then app crash saying to sign in. Like why bother and why should I keep paying for it @googlenest

@googlenesthelp I am still having issue after a long time: 1) the new device that sent to me was even faultier than my own nest. ( they send refurbished devices without proper screening) and i had to put 200 dollars on hold for that.

@Saphod @googlenesthelp Googles home automation is a ******* joke, cloud API’s talking to cloud APIs, at least with HomeKit i can run stuff locally, it works 99% offline. I would go zigbee if HomeKit weren’t a proper api for such things.

@googlenest truly the worst customer support. I was hung up on for having a different problem then they called about - literally just said “Hi” & “Not quite” & disconnected. Went on chat instead - told them the nest is blinking orange & won’t charge. Kept getting “sure” answers.

@googlenest 3 months now since I reported a problem scrolling through the history timeline on your app. I think you need to refund everyone who is paying for Nest Aware if you can’t use one of the main features and it seems you have no intention of fixing it.

@googlenesthelp I’m really upset I’ve been paying for brinks home monitoring and I had to reset my guard - they won’t deactivate - paying 33 a month for service that doesn’t work! Help would be great. #whataletdown #commitedtosupport

@googlenest @Google when are u going to fix this? Seems like false advertising tbh. Nest Cam battery is not (currently) compatible with the Nest App and the Home App does not give access to 24/7 video even if you have purchased the $12/month nest aware subscription

try your luck on ebay. How is that fixing the problem @madebygoogle ? You're supposed to be able to fix a problem with your product or provide a reasonable solution and going to a 3rd party and paying 2x is not that #Customerservice #nest @googlenest

@thegino101 @googlenest The Timeline in the nest app is broken anyway. They are obviously forcing people to move away from Nest and look elsewhere.
