One of the astounding and utterly useless things I own is @googlenest Protect, the CO/fire detector. Came with the house I bought It’s been offline for…20 hrs for no reason, and no notification. Can’t believe people think this **** is useful. It’s so dangerous.

:54 min and counting with @googlenest to solve an issue I’m having with nest thermostat. It’s clearly defective as my other Nest thermal from downstairs works on this base. Ffs, just overnight me a new one and call it a day.

@googlenesthelp Thanks for reaching out - it just really unreliable. Waiting for the camera feed to load is super slow or displays an error message that it couldn’t load. I have to wait ages to move through recordings. doesn’t matter if I’m on Wi-fi or 5G.

@googlenesthelp I have a 3rd generation Nest learning thermostat, only for four months now and still under warranty. I’m getting a w5 error code as it can’t pick up Wi-Fi signals and connect to the internet. I was told purchase new one and send old one back to get a refund

@googlenesthelp I have a Nest Detect that's draining batteries *way* faster than the others. Is there any way to fix this? 3 new energizer lithium batteries in addition to original since late 06/22. Other Detects still on original batt. Restarted & Factory reset many times.

@ecobee app is having "technical difficulties" so you can't do what you probably bought a smart thermostat for. Then the app sends you to a status website... That is offline. I'm getting a @googlenest ASAP

@Google @googlenest Know that it's the same problem whichever TV's name you take. Assistant was perfect & a bliss but its been more than a year now that life with Assistant has become really difficult.🥵 Too many bugs that I have escalated individually since time - but alas! 😟🫣

@googlenesthelp When it has a fresh battery, we get the door open notifications; then when it drains the battery we get a "nest detect offline" notification. No LEDs on currently, but all worked as expected when I did the "check setup" after replacing the battery.
