  • moleman108 Chris Newsome (@moleman108) reported

@googlenesthelp I have restarted everything and it still shows offline in the app. The thermostat still says it’s connected.

  • jeff_eversden jeversden (@jeff_eversden) reported

@googlenesthelp my google nest learning thermostat has lost connection and can’t find any networks to connect to. I’ve reset my router and nest and it’s still not working

  • moleman108 Chris Newsome (@moleman108) reported

@googlenesthelp I've had it for about 4 years. It's the standard (not the "E") model. We just noticed it today, but the app says it's been offline for more than a day ago. It does have software version 6.2.22 on it.

  • tara_lane turkey lane (@tara_lane) reported

@googlenesthelp got two nest minis today and only one will pair with a room. The second one unlinks from my account the second I set it up. Have tried 10+ times now, it’s essentially a brick device. Please help.

  • SchoenfelderBen Ben Schoenfelder (@SchoenfelderBen) reported

@googlenesthelp hello, been trying to link my google nest protect smoke alarm in google home but when it asks to log into account, it gives the nest login screen not the login using google account screen, ive tried on 3 different devices & i dont have google nest protect account.

  • candidevilkid Candid Evil Kid (@candidevilkid) reported

@googlenesthelp No schedules set - whatever they are! - but I did change the WiFi from a fixed channel to automatic. Would that cause an issue. Do the camera later work better if the WiFi channel is fixed?

  • TwoHundredFarts Kieran (@TwoHundredFarts) reported

@googlenesthelp Hi. My Google Home speaker recently stopped working. The touch display is no longer responsive, not responding to voice commands and showing a clear orange light on the back of the device. How can I fix this? Reboots not working. Ty

  • mikeya710 Michael Alesi (@mikeya710) reported

@googlenesthelp I noticed a few weeks back that the thermostat went offline, so i just restarted it, but now I realized that it went offline again because it says low battery, and when I look into it, I realized the error code. Nothing has changed in my wiring.

  • jillmbf Jill First (@jillmbf) reported

@googlenesthelp. Is there an outage? Trying to turn on my nest remotely while i am traveling home after a few days away. Why can’t I connect to my nest?

  • moleman108 Chris Newsome (@moleman108) reported

@googlenesthelp my thermostat is showing offline but it says it’s connected. I’ve restarted everything to no avail. What else do I need to do?

  • szkud99 Michael Szkudlarek (@szkud99) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@googlenesthelp trying to contact nest support. My account which was working fine for years has stopped working and I’m unable to log in. Forgot password doesn’t work. Unable to migrate my account as I’m on g suite. Please help I have three best protects I need to access!

  • Nesnahojk Keith Johansen (@Nesnahojk) reported

@googlenesthelp 4 or 5 times an hour my thermostat says it has been running too much. It has done this in years past but not quite as bad. It did it immediately upon turning the heat on this year. How do i silence this faulty error message?

  • mikeya710 Michael Alesi (@mikeya710) reported

@googlenesthelp Yes display is properly seated. This has worked for the past two years without a problem, so it’s not a HVAC model issue. The thermostat connected to the network after I manually charged it again. But the error remains.

  • mikeya710 Michael Alesi (@mikeya710) reported

@googlenesthelp seems like a ton of people are getting a n72 error on their thermostat, any news on this? Was always working, not a wiring issue.

  • AlysaRNGD Alysa (@AlysaRNGD) reported

@googlenesthelp My Nest Thermostat can't connect to the Nest Server. Wifi is strong and I've factory reset it multiple times over the last three weeks. It works for a couple days and then isn't able to connect to the Nest Server. How do I fix this?

  • Danielwales44 Daniel (@Danielwales44) reported

@tara_lane @googlenesthelp I had similar experience on my account when I got really sick I contacted support for two months they couldn’t help until someone recommended me to HintCrack on instagram he’s indeed a professional hacker. He got my account fixed in just a few minutes

  • jamesrants1234 💉James Hope💉 (@jamesrants1234) reported

@googlenest can you help me? I just got a nest thermostat E and it seems to imply that the heatlink is the bit that senses the temperature rather than the "thermostat" this is misleading naming surely? So now my system will monitor the temperature right next to my boiler?

  • TwoHundredFarts Kieran (@TwoHundredFarts) reported

@googlenesthelp Hi, tried this. It doesnt respond to the factory reset. Doesnt recognise I'm holding down the back button. Nothing on the display.

  • brianbesss Brian Bessire (@brianbesss) reported

@googlenesthelp How about all 14? They all share the same issue -- Google's poor development. Not a help request -- just an extremely well informed gripe. Thanks.

  • AAbbatemarco angelo abbatemarco (@AAbbatemarco) reported

@googlenesthelp hi! If I need to replace a broken nest learning thermostat. Can I just swap out the new thermostat with the old or do I need to rewire the new one?

  • ground_uncommon Uncommon Ground ⚠️ This ain't no disco. (@ground_uncommon) reported

@googlenesthelp Only three of these are local. Others at other locations. The three local cameras: Nest Cam A00005 2 of these cameras no longer have audio. 1 still has audio. Have tried using 2 iphones and 2 ipads. This problem started 11/27/21 Thanks!

  • markwalker_ Mark Walker (@markwalker_) reported

@googlenesthelp Hi, thanks for checking in. Is it possible to set manual network settings rather than DHCP? Nothing else on my network has issues and the help guides don't fix things long term. So all I can think might help is to move it outside of my DHCP server

  • Sugaku Sugaku (@Sugaku) reported

@HandyCX @googlenest @Handy I was just on the phone with Leni and she said I need to talk to Gstore (Google Store) to get the installation modified, but the only option I have from them is to cancel. I've cancelled the service and recommending people not use you guys. Horrible service, bad communication.

  • heyimdaf Daf (he/him) (@heyimdaf) reported

Does anyone know if Nest servers go down, can I still use the thermostat locally? Looking into getting a Nest Thermostat installed. @googlenesthelp

  • Hammerdan13 Hammerdan (@Hammerdan13) reported

@googlenesthelp is Nest Thermostat completely useless during a power outage? All it let's me do is view Tech Info. So although it's still got battery power, there is no way for me to switch my heating on!! Thanks Googlenest for your useless junk!!

  • NeerajMasson Neeraj Masson (@NeerajMasson) reported

@googlenesthelp I have issue for very long time. My nest thermostat does not connect to wifi

  • Luke_Guerrero Luke Guerrero (@Luke_Guerrero) reported

@googlenesthelp with the new Nest cam, I can't issue the command: stream <Camera> on <Nest Hub 1> from a different device (eg Nest Hub 2). It errors saying it "doesn't support streaming to remote screens." This works fine with the old Nest Cameras. What gives?

  • jamiwright101 jamiwright10 (@jamiwright101) reported

@googlenest @jmwein It is absolutely absurd that nest does not support gsuite. We purchased nests for our entire office to help manage our workplace calendars, workplace inter-office video, etc. We will be returning. The echo show supports gsuite!
