For the love of god, we just want our @googlenest thermostat to hold the temperature at 80 F. But it keeps overruling me and turning itself down to 72 F. Does it work LADWP or for us?

@dsngiem @googlenest did the same to me a few weeks back - explanation was that it was "pre-cooling" in anticipation of shutting down completely during a heavier load later in the day. still stupid though

@googlenest Google nest cameras are inefficient. If you don't have immediate access to camera when internet connection is broken your camera is useless. Buy something more reliable

@googlenest The mgmt of subscriptions for Nest products sucks. How many times does a customer need to tap links and sign in before they can change something? It should be as simple as tapping the Account button in the app and then changing my subscription services. FIX IT.

@madebygoogle How do I reach someone in the United States GoogleNest customer support? Been trying to reach specialist for weeks for unresolved refund issue & every time I call, told only email possible. Emailed many times & response never addresses issue & never from specialist.

@googlenest has the absolute worst customer service . Wasting hours of my life yet again (3rd time) trying to get a refund for a defective nest I sent back . They said I had 21 days to send it back, they had it back in 6 and still charged me another $250 for a nest they got back

@googlenesthelp Yes, I've experienced with both mobile data and Wi-Fi, but still the same issue. I've tried from the website, and everything is OK ... It seems a real problem with the app 🤔

@googlenesthelp Webpage: I authenticate with my Google account, then get redirected back to the Sign In page. Same in the iOS app. I got an alert email telling me that the authentication was successful and that I'm sharing my data with Nest. This has been installed/working for 3 years.

Guess I'm going on a #SmartHome #rant. Figured out my @googlenest learning thermostat is reading 4 degrees warmer than the room is. There's no behind wall daft and is insulated. The soft reset didn't help. And there's no apparent calibration option. #fail

@googlenest is the worst . Bought a Nest a few more than ago and it stops connecting to wifi . 2 replacements later it works but they charged me for a replacement saying I didn’t return the old one in time. I had 21 days and the received it in 6 . Worst customer service

So of course I had to try and call my mother while he's wandering the junklot, and she's not answering, so I have to call my sister at work to call her Googlenest to get my mother's attention so she won't bring the dogs outside. I just can't think how he got the trash day wrong.

@googlenest / home integration will be a case study in bad product management and ux design - the entire thing is a disaster. I would say I expect more out of @Google, but at this point I don't. they're a 23 year old search ATM with six chat clients and a bunch of acquisitions.

Holy ****, there is nothing I can do to delete the video history from my @googlenest camera. What a seedy piece of ****. No matter how many times I hit the button, nothing, no matter if I remove the device entirely and reinstall. It won't delete it. This feels criminal.

@googlenesthelp help, my thermostat lost Wi-Fi and sees no other networks. I have followed the help screens reset nest and router and no success. I live in a condo with dozens of networks around me and Nest doesn’t see any of them. Online I see this is somewhat of a known issue.

@googlenesthelp I’ve had 2 calls about my Nest Doorbell. The call I just had today ended abruptly after ~45min. My issue did not get resolved again & I was expecting a callback (considering they confirmed my # at the beginning of the call, in case this happens) - never got one 😤

@BenPaulos @ohmconnect @googlenest Given the strident objections/obstruction drivers have launched against automated traffic cameras/tracking devices I am extremely skeptical they will allow utilities to put devices in their cars that "feel" like "privacy invasions." It's irrational, but ... *that's* the problem.
