Something bad is happening to google chromecasts after lastest update. I have seen 3 different devices that lost its capability to connect to 5GHz wifi. This happened in the last few days could be something that @googlenesthelp could help with?

@googlenesthelp your customer service is terrible. Gen 3 thermostat was working fine until forcing me to switch to google account now temp sensors do not stay connected. Forcing me to purchase a new gen 3 instead of exchanging. What crap service!!!!

@googlenesthelp Hi, thank you so much. Unfortunately, I got the TD023 error, and after 2 hours talking to customer support couldn't help; to be fair, he wasn't the most helpful, not knowing what a Google Nest router is, and then just saying take the item back, 😔🥺

@abhargava @googlenest Google wifi router and points are Garbage. Mine have not worked out of the box. I have spent dozens of hours on the phone trouble shooting still not working. GARBAGE!

@googlenesthelp The Google home app is poorly designed and does not send notifications for my other nest cameras. This is a terrible oversight and I’m more than disappointed. To have a best camera that can’t be used on the existing nest app is not acceptable.

@googlenesthelp I'm in the US. I've restarted the app, the Chromecast, and my Pixel. I can hear the audio while watching directly from my Pixel. Streaming other services from my Xbox work. My wife is able to cast from her Pixel without trouble.

@googlenesthelp I have two nest cams, one that I pay for Nest Aware on, and one that I don’t. The one that I don’t is offline at least once a day, and takes longer to connect. Seems like a shady way to get me to add Nest Aware to our other camera?

@googlenesthelp If I use my Google Home account, I have to REMOVE my already connected Nest Devices and then I would be unable to use them on my Nest HUB or any other devices. Seriously this is not cool. You screwed your most loyal customers - fix it. Support G-Suite Accounts!

@googlenesthelp Well this keeps happening, after i do the steps on the help page it starts working again with my phone however my pc hasnt been able to find it and they are all on the same wifi and it finds my brothers smart tv, I've had it for 5 maybe 6 years now...idk whats going on

@googlenesthelp Why is it soo hard to get to a tier 2 tech support who can help me with my Nest Thermostat? I recently had to reset the device. Need access to Pro Setup so I can configure w1 wire to run both furnace and activate FAN at the same time.

@The_Tim @googlenest I’m sorry to hear about the issue with the Nest Protect. Can I ask your process for making yours black. Did you spray it, PlastiDip the cover. Please sure if you’re willing. I like the look for a room with a dark ceiling.
