@googlenesthelp is Nest Thermostat completely useless during a power outage? All it let's me do is view Tech Info. So although it's still got battery power, there is no way for me to switch my heating on!! Thanks Googlenest for your useless junk!!

@googlenesthelp Hi, thanks for checking in. Is it possible to set manual network settings rather than DHCP? Nothing else on my network has issues and the help guides don't fix things long term. So all I can think might help is to move it outside of my DHCP server

@googlenesthelp I have a Nest Thermostat E Pro (8GWCXH / 15AA01AC39170FWA) which will not connect to WiFi. I have go through all the reset options multiple times and it still will not work. Please help!

@googlenesthelp with the new Nest cam, I can't issue the command: stream <Camera> on <Nest Hub 1> from a different device (eg Nest Hub 2). It errors saying it "doesn't support streaming to remote screens." This works fine with the old Nest Cameras. What gives?

@googlenesthelp No schedules set - whatever they are! - but I did change the WiFi from a fixed channel to automatic. Would that cause an issue. Do the camera later work better if the WiFi channel is fixed?

@googlenesthelp I noticed a few weeks back that the thermostat went offline, so i just restarted it, but now I realized that it went offline again because it says low battery, and when I look into it, I realized the error code. Nothing has changed in my wiring.

@googlenest can you help me? I just got a nest thermostat E and it seems to imply that the heatlink is the bit that senses the temperature rather than the "thermostat" this is misleading naming surely? So now my system will monitor the temperature right next to my boiler?

@googlenesthelp I’ve just returned home from a weekend away and have lost power to one of my 4 nest thermostats. I have checked the relevant heatlink which is getting 240v power but not sending 12v to the thermostat. I have power cycled the unit which hasn’t worked. Help

@googlenesthelp Only three of these are local. Others at other locations. The three local cameras: Nest Cam A00005 2 of these cameras no longer have audio. 1 still has audio. Have tried using 2 iphones and 2 ipads. This problem started 11/27/21 Thanks!

@googlenesthelp 4 or 5 times an hour my thermostat says it has been running too much. It has done this in years past but not quite as bad. It did it immediately upon turning the heat on this year. How do i silence this faulty error message?

@googlenesthelp It's not an ISP issue, it's simply the configuration of devices on my network. Devices should, ideally, have the option to manually define their network settings. Nest thermostats don't have that and in the years I've had one, they don't seem to get much development from google

@RichardIlderton @googlenest @HiveHelper Was in the same predicament as you a year ago. I chose Tado and I’m pleased I did. Reason for choice very bad reviews for Nest customer service and I follow Hive on Twitter and constantly see issues of connectivity. Honestly haven’t had an issue on Tado since I’ve had it.

@googlenesthelp My Nest Thermostat can't connect to the Nest Server. Wifi is strong and I've factory reset it multiple times over the last three weeks. It works for a couple days and then isn't able to connect to the Nest Server. How do I fix this?

@HandyCX @googlenest @Handy I was just on the phone with Leni and she said I need to talk to Gstore (Google Store) to get the installation modified, but the only option I have from them is to cancel. I've cancelled the service and recommending people not use you guys. Horrible service, bad communication.

@googlenesthelp Thanks. In my limited twitter reach, I've had a couple of other people reporting this same issue of the thermostat showing "offline" in the app despite being online. So I don't think it's caused by my network as I did previously.

@googlenesthelp Yes display is properly seated. This has worked for the past two years without a problem, so it’s not a HVAC model issue. The thermostat connected to the network after I manually charged it again. But the error remains.
