  • designedbyross rpg321《TYR》🟠 🍌 (@designedbyross) reported

@googlenesthelp Hi, we have a nest cam outdoor. I’m assuming the issue is with the app as it’s happening on multiple devices (two different iPhones) on both wifi and 4G. Tried updating and re-downloading the app, that’s all. Thanks

  • armentage armentage (@armentage) reported

@googlenest How is it that we're still struggling to have software with anywhere near the capabilities of the old Nest apps, multiple years into the Nest/Google merger? The Google Home app is garbage, and the incompatibility between the Nest app and the newer devices sucks.

  • klatoo304 Spend to Oblivion (@klatoo304) reported

@googlenesthelp I’ve done all this except full factory reset. While it could be heat related being that it’s on a doorstep (sun exposure early am <30min), this has never been an issue for 4 plus years. Still goes offline around same time

  • klatoo304 Spend to Oblivion (@klatoo304) reported from Memphis, Tennessee

@googlenesthelp Nest hello (wired) goes offline twice a day, around 11a cst and 2p cst (+/- 60min or so) for the past week. Nothing else network wise has changed. Offline lasts anywhere from 2-10 min. Have attempted reset without any change. Device is 4+ hrs old maybe?

  • yangtheman yangtheman (@yangtheman) reported

@googlenesthelp @googlenest My nest thermostat suddenly lost connection to wifi, won't find any wifi networks, and won't connect to the wifi network it connected prior when connecting manually. It's been working fine for 30 months. Online search shows many with the same issue.

@googlenesthelp I’ve just DM’d you, you’ve cancelled my subscription AGAIN due to “non payment” despite paying for a year in May!? I’m currently on holiday and neighbour just told me alarm is going off!? Can you fix as a matter of urgency and ensure this doesn’t happen again!!!

  • Him_Purush Chauhan Ashish (@Him_Purush) reported

  • TxPiPhi128 Andrew Hawkins (@TxPiPhi128) reported

@googlenesthelp I am having issues with the Nest not connecting to WiFi. I have tried resetting the nest and the router but it does not recognize any wifi even if very close to a mesh system. Please help.

  • Rhansell Rich Hansell (@Rhansell) reported

Poor Nest.. that google acquisition just ruined the products. The @googlenest cam and the super ****** set up process when it doesn’t work - even after hard resets - and the only error is “something went wrong”. F-U. Never again with this trash

  • iTarik tismo74 (@iTarik) reported

  • naresham NM (@naresham) reported

@Google @googlenest Can somebody please fix the bug urgently. Its irritating to keep saying OK GOOGLE-STOP after every alarm or timer goes off because the speaker now since some days ignores the STOP command. No Rocket Science here 😢

  • robcom99 Rob Commarota (@robcom99) reported

@googlenesthelp My Nest Display-3.7 (6.2-27) lost the wireless network and can’t see any wireless networks available. I have tried restarting my wireless router and the Nest unit several times also reset the Nest. Battery voltage is fine. Can you help?

  • KeyArchibald Archibald Key (@KeyArchibald) reported

@verge Why would anyone buy a overpriced @googlenest product with their poor record?

  • genre_practice Marianna Martin (@genre_practice) reported

I finally locate a number to talk to @googlenest about my ordeal a few days later. Dude I speak to is nice, but we are having trouble understanding each other. He recommends I throw out my stupidly expensive device that could have caused untold damage and replace. 4/6

  • albags_2002 Albags 🇬🇧🇺🇦 (@albags_2002) reported

@sfeld7 @googlenesthelp Does Nest display show WiFi networks it sees? Yours not in it? Of the WiFi in an issue I had, 2.4G in UK, the wireless channel number was too high. When I changed it, Nest saw it. Also, the router settings should include the normal (slow speed bands, not just the highest)

  • xA__Fx AF (@xA__Fx) reported

@ACakes20 @googlenesthelp It’s a known issue they refuse to fix. The 6.2-27 firmware update causes the issue. You can search the forums for other people with the same problem.

  • Suazo_PR Suazo (@Suazo_PR) reported

@googlenesthelp @rynterry1 You’ve been pretty much providing the same response for the past 2.5 years… are you going to work on a fix or not? this seems like a fairly straightforward problem to solve as all it requires is either an updated app with google sign in or some backend updates.

  • payytah Paytah (@payytah) reported

Hey @googlenest , your garbage speakers won't stay connected to a Wifi 6 Router. And before you even say it (like your other "tech" people ), it's not a range or interference thing. My 5 yr old router worked, your speakers don't like modern mesh networks.

  • NFT_Shooter McGavin (@NFT_Shooter) reported

@googlenest battery camera is trash U guys really made the newer product worse. Only works in the google home app which is terrible and the battery life sucks. I installed it literally 2 days ago and already at 80% Deff going to be replacing this soon
