  • geek3point0 🇺🇲 James Finstrom (the James) (@geek3point0) reported from San Tan Valley, Arizona

I guess I just need to toss this @googlenest thermostat in the trash. It won't control the heat and hundreds of online post with the same issues and same useless advice

  • BVPeezy Clark Griswold (@BVPeezy) reported

@googlenest @NoraEvents Having the same issue here, no visitor announcements when it’s turned on.

  • SkyWriterAz Sky Writer (@SkyWriterAz) reported

@googlenest Only issue is what device to get next 🙈

@googlenesthelp Is there an outage for Google Nest doorbells, mine has been offline since 1130 am this morning

  • perrinrobinson Perrin (@perrinrobinson) reported

@googlenest Thanks-casting from iPhone XR to 1st gen Chromecast. Although deleting/reinstalling the @dailyburn app appears to have fixed the problem! At least, so far.

  • dosmage Vex Mage (@dosmage) reported from Vandenberg Village, California

@googlenest This is a sudden change in Google Home's cloud logic. It started yesterday. Before yesterday she never reported Chromecasts as offline when they don't have power.

  • iambobmae iambobmae == ⚡🚗 + ⭐📡 + 🧢 (@iambobmae) reported from Stockton, California

@googlenesthelp I'm having issue with my nest thermostat. it's not able to connect to my wifi. i follow a couple trouble shoot steps and it still not connect to my router. I've reset my router and the nest. please advise

  • E2da2ndpower Erick Morris (@E2da2ndpower) reported

@googlenesthelp Hello Im having problems with my wifi on my nest thermostat e. I have tried all of the trouble suggestion and still nothing. My second Nest thermostat E works fine so I know its not the network. please help.

  • halfkxsquared Pete Lindgren (@halfkxsquared) reported

@googlenest thanks for replying. I've removed and replaced power, I've tried adding as a new device in Home app (it doesn't get found at all), I've tried all manner of ways of holding the button down but the orange-white-orange resumes as soon as I release so doesn't appear to factory reset.

  • iamfreshy2010 iamfreshy2010 (@iamfreshy2010) reported

@richproduce89 @googlenest I am having the same issue

  • kittali alison kitten (@kittali) reported

@googlenesthelp @kdrlwilliams This still appears to be an issue. What timeframe to resolve please

  • tidyboiler Alan Douglas (@tidyboiler) reported from Grimsby, England

@googlenest Answer is “it’s not available or not possible right now”! No problem with @MagicRadio though

  • halfkxsquared Pete Lindgren (@halfkxsquared) reported

@googlenest Sorry - I can see I was ambiguous above. I got a power supply from a chromecast audio that I knew to be working. I tried it in the chromecast that is not working, and it had no impact. Still orange-white-orange.

  • basicfolklore katie ✨ (@basicfolklore) reported

my @googlenest thermostat randomly broke, so that's the 4th appliance that's broken in the last 8 months (dishwasher, microwave, my entire AC unit, now the thermostat). Smart homes/appliances are a scam tbh.

  • Dustin_Dominiak Dustin Dominiak (@Dustin_Dominiak) reported

@googlenest Also @googlenest it's funny you mention wifi, as this thermostat can't find my wifi network. It says it can't find any wifi network, which is weird because the other 30 devices I have find/connect without any issue

  • dosmage Vex Mage (@dosmage) reported from Vandenberg Village, California

@googlenest You may be misunderstanding my problem. Google Home is the issue, the Chromecasts work fine. Suddenly Google Home is trying to power on my Chromecasts when I ask it to turn a room on. This is an impossible task and She should understand that. She cannot turn a Chromecast on.

  • whatupgangstas Adam (@whatupgangstas) reported

@googlenesthelp It says I’m online on the settings tab but when I’m back on the Home Screen it says internet disconnected - no error codes

  • halfkxsquared Pete Lindgren (@halfkxsquared) reported

@googlenest The only glimmer of any response is that the pace of flashing changes when I'm actually holding the button down. Usually, the rhythm is O (2sec), W (1sec), O(2sec). When I hold the button it is W (3sec), O (2sec), W(3sec). But as soon as I release, it resumes original rhythm.

  • MaureenDorsen Maureen D (@MaureenDorsen) reported

@googlenesthelp what is up with the e183 error on the Google nest thermostat?

  • Dustin_Dominiak Dustin Dominiak (@Dustin_Dominiak) reported

WOW now @googlenest customer service is hanging up on my wife after close to an hour on the phone. Really? This is how you run a company, selling products that don't work and then mistreating customers that are looking for resolution #terrible

  • whatupgangstas Adam (@whatupgangstas) reported

@googlenesthelp - nest gen 3 won’t connect to my Wi-fi for weather etc - been working fine for a year... no change to networking ,is this an issue your end ?

  • HARD2KN0CK Hard2knock (@HARD2KN0CK) reported

@Brooklynwatch @googlenesthelp Yeap not working on my end as well...

  • chinosupersized Canteen-o Heat (@chinosupersized) reported

@googlenest I am trying to connect my speaker to another Wi-Fi network but I keep getting a connection problem. How do I solve this?

  • dosmage Vex Mage (@dosmage) reported from Vandenberg Village, California

@googlenest Hi, they're 1st gen sticks. One of the TVs is a 2020 with built-in Chromecast. Another one is a 2015 built-in Chromecast. Google Home audibly reports them being offline when I ask to turn on a specific room, for example 'livingroom on' results in 6 lights turning on and 2 offline

  • Dustin_Dominiak Dustin Dominiak (@Dustin_Dominiak) reported

@googlenest so @googlenest your product is terrible. Just charged for 3 hours put back on wall and says it needs to be charged. Its winter, my house is freezing, why can't your product work?

  • Science_Anthony Anthony (@Science_Anthony) reported

@googlenesthelp Please help! It's January in New York and my Nest Thermostat will not talk to wifi. 🥶 I have another one downstairs and it seems a dozen hotspots. I think we're sleeping downstairs tonight. I've tried everything!

  • fleckd David Fleck (@fleckd) reported

@googlenest I have two Google WiFi mesh routers covering my house. The devices are directly between them. The issue is even after set up, I could control one bulb and not the other and then that would change. That's not a reliable enough experience.

  • Brooklynwatch I am a real human in Brooklyn (@Brooklynwatch) reported

@googlenesthelp Any problems in NYC? App not working.

  • delzhand Derek Adams (@delzhand) reported

@googlenest Well, they work most of the time, so I haven't had a chance to try the sync command yet. Sometimes if I have to unplug a device and move it I'll run into the issue but I haven't needed to do that recently.

  • BartRoozendaal Bart Roozendaal (@BartRoozendaal) reported

The first time I asked Twitter for help with my Nest thermostat E not setting up, @googlenest responded within 30 seconds. It was *almost* like they cared I now have *two* €200 bricks. They are silent since I told them I am in the Netherlands 🙄 #whatgives
