Google Nest Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • YamyamLad Yamyam (@YamyamLad) reported

@googlenesthelp yeah right. I'm not going to hold my breath. Your agents do not even consider the possibility the issue is with Google. They merely follow a script!

  • LilliAnnDavis Lilli Ann (@LilliAnnDavis) reported

@googlenesthelp when I try and login to nest on my android TV it says my username or password is incorrect?

  • jrronimo J.R. Raith (@jrronimo) reported

@andybrianx @googlenesthelp It's really frustrating. We got another one for free from some service and put it in the exact same place and it works flawlessly. It definitely seems like a hardware issue.

  • kikujiroK Piermaria (@kikujiroK) reported

@googlenesthelp It was just a notification with "you garden camera has been offline for 10 minutes". I did plug it/unplug it, didn't work for a while, then it did work, got disconnected again and now seems to be working.

  • jrronimo J.R. Raith (@jrronimo) reported

@googlenesthelp I mean, I've already talked in DMs with Google Nest Support, and there's a huge thread about this issue that I linked. How much more digging do you need from me?

  • jrronimo J.R. Raith (@jrronimo) reported

@omarhaimour @googlenesthelp We got a newer one for free from some service and put it in the exact same place and it works flawlessly. It definitely seems like a hardware issue with whatever version we have... So frustrating.

  • canadianjl jlm (@canadianjl) reported

@googlenesthelp my doorbell goes offline at least 10 times a day meanwhile my internet is working fine... what’s the deal? I bought this for safety purposes and if it keeps going offline when I need it.. what’s the point?

  • YamyamLad Yamyam (@YamyamLad) reported

@googlenesthelp my nest hub max camera was offline even though the unit was showing Google photos. After approximately 15 minutes the picture came back. However just after my nest hello went down. It was clear to me the issue was yours. I then left the chat. No email came from the agent.

  • ghinmo1 gh_in_mo (@ghinmo1) reported

@BrianfromSTL @googlenest Agreed. I LOVE my @ArloSmartHome setup. Have multiple wifi w 2way audio cams outside. Solar panel powered. Even have a very ancient gen1 of theirs STILL going like a champ. Was wooed by Google in the worst way to buy a Nest doorbell. Please don’t be a fool like me.

  • omarhaimour Omar Haimour (@omarhaimour) reported

@jrronimo @googlenesthelp This is why I only use first gen minis. Have a second gen in a box in the closet. I'll never buy Google hardware again. It's all buggy trash.

  • YamyamLad Yamyam (@YamyamLad) reported

@googlenesthelp maybe you should follow your product name nest aware, except sadly you were not. I spent wasted resources and time troubleshooting an issue which was your issue! I don't pay an annual subscription for this.

  • madebygoogle Made By Google (@madebygoogle) reported

@mrleeleencfc @googlenest Hey there, thanks for reaching out. We're sorry for the trouble. We've resolved the issue with Google Nest Camera devices and they should now work as expected. Could you try checking the Nest app and see if everything's good?

  • Stef_Walton Stef Walton (@Stef_Walton) reported

@googlenesthelp Yes, all back on thanks. Just could have done with a more informative email so I didn't spend my time rebooting devices trying to address a non-existent connectivity issue, maybe something to consider for any future issues?! 👍

  • byWilliamLeigh byWilliamLeigh (@byWilliamLeigh) reported

@googlenesthelp this was the worst process. You guys coaxed me into purchasing a new replacement unit and told me you would refund the money. I spent the money and I still haven’t gotten my refund back! This was in November. #RobbingSeason #donttrustgooglenesthelp

  • popology PoPology (@popology) reported

@googlenesthelp Wish I was notified earlier. Had to go down on all plugs in this order 1. Reboot nest hello 2. Reboot goggle mesh 3. Reboot router 4. Reboot modem 5. Scolded my kids for ringing the bell and it did work

  • richardterris Richard Terris (@richardterris) reported

@googlenesthelp nest thermostat has suddenly developed a WiFi error and can’t find the network. I have restarted the router and the thermostat a few times but still not working. Please advise
