@googlenesthelp I just reinstalled the app. Might as well, since I have to login at least once a week anyway. I wasn't aware I could use the Google Home app for Nest gear? Should I know that? Will I eventually have to?

@MiKeMcDnet @googlenesthelp Same here! I appreciate their troubleshooting but seems to be a much larger issue!

@googlenesthelp Nest app. Seems to be caught up now, maybe a slow queue on push?

Michael Grabois

@googlenesthelp It happened overnight, about 4am CDT (according to how long it's been offline), but it has happened occasionally before. So far: dropped/reconnected the hardware to the network, force-quit the app, went into/out of airplane mode on my iPhone, & logged out/in to the app.

My @ring Pro is about 5 mins behind with a press, no timeline, need to replace it each year due to poor heat design of front button which cracks and breaks. Time to go @googlenest and add to my outdoor IQ 🤔

@googlenesthelp Ok. Done. Doubt it will do a thing since this sounds like it is a wide spread problem that been going on for months and months. I'm actually mad at how you all destroyed a device i liked using by this and by the constant ads on music

@googlenesthelp I'm currently in Hyderabad, India and bought the device in USA 2 years ago. I tried unplugging the device for 5 mins and restarted but unfortunately the same issue. Please help further.

@googlenesthelp My Nest app keeps showing that my Nest thermostat is offline, but hardware itself says it's good. All of my other network stuff sees it except for the app. Any suggestions? I think I have a 2nd gen, the Model says "Display-3.4" in the app and it's running 6.2-22.

@googlenesthelp i am going crazy with my nest thermostat. I have a heat pump set up and currently at heat, and even if i stop heat, unless i change the temp to something very low it never stops. Another issue is it sets the temp to 90 out of the blue and we experience hell heat.

@googlenesthelp Hi yes it is on. I tried switching to another wifi and tested it out and still same issue of a delay. I tried also on our guest network and still a problem. Seeing others having the issue too perhaps it’s an odd glitch.

@googlenesthelp hi I’m having a major delay in notifications. Had a visitor at 7:59 and did not get the iPhone alert until 8:09. It’s been happening all day. Wifi is fine, everything looks to be updated. Any suggestions? Never had this issue until today…

@MyTradingHandle @egoebelbecker @googlenest Thing is it's 23:29 here in the UK. Nobody is trick or treating here after 9pm. This shouldn't be happening here. Are they really going to say America's Halloween trick or treating is bringing the entire network to a crawl? Is Amazon/ring having this problem?

@japersdizzle @egoebelbecker @googlenest My Ring sensors were also delays but only by like 5 seconds. It would depend on if their distributed services are regionalised. It’s not uncommon for services in parts of the US and Europe to go down at the same time if they share cloud space.

@BrianSullivan @googlenesthelp Having the same issue here. Doorbell rings and then I’ll get the alert ten minutes later on my phone then the same alert again three minutes after. Never had an issue until today.

@googlenesthelp wired. the only thing the app says is that the camera is offline and to make sure it is connected to wifi.

@googlenesthelp Just push - it seems to be around 3-4 minutes delayed. Doorbell is immediate, but the person/motion is slow.

WTF @ring, two-stop authentication is actually three steps, in that you have to call customer support, but the support number on your site is no longer working. Guess it's time to switch to @googlenesthelp.

For the avoidance of doubt, this isn't reliant on my broadband speed, I have gigabit internet and I'm also seeing 15-20 minute latency on notifications of events happening at my other property where I have a nest ecosystem. Fix. Yo. ****. @madebygoogle @googlenesthelp

@googlenesthelp Thanks for the attention but I’m pretty sure it’s not just me and I’m not going to waste my time with personal device debugging. I’m just going to wait it out what I presume is a technical/scaling issue on your end.
