Crashes. Lagging. Spinning wheels. Freezes. I have 9 cameras all unusable. Not just me. 1 stars!

Electronics depending on online services need to be open-sourced if that online service goes away. @googlenest is currently rendering tens of thousands of WORKING thermostats useless because they are discontinuing service.

Adrock (@Adrock318) reported@googlenesthelp The connection between Google Home and Xbox servers is down for everyone since yesterday. Google Home is showing Xbox as offline and when we try to reconnect the service it says it cannot connect to Xbox. When can we expect a fix?

Google repeatedly denied a Nest upgrade promo for 1 of the units since it was offline during a reno. If this is how they treat loyal users, I’m done. Audio Engineer (@aud_eng) reportedI was excited to install a new Nest 4th Gen learning thermostat to replace my ecobee which was working fine, @googlenest. The only reason I have one is remote sensors. THE NEST TEMP WAS SET TO 68 BUT IT'S STILL HEATING AT 77 DEGREES! WHY?? Do I need to have this unit replaced? I can't turn enough of this eco-garbage off. I'm smart enough to know exactly what I want to temp to stay at and not have my temperature change on it's own. Please advise, I thought we were over the frozen dead grandmas of 8 years ago.

Nethraxis (@nethraxis) reportedpurchased @Google @googlenest cameras and wanted to self host them but google throttles the feed and locks everything behind a ridiculously over priced paywall for the worst service you could imagine. crazy how a trillion dollar company who dominates the internet and ad space has to also scam with their products and lock them behind paywalls. I guess the shreholders are pretty happy and the CEO gets to fill his bank account with sub revenue.

And I'm home, walking past the firking thermostat every few minutes to warm up my coffee. It's a great product technically, but their company zealotry is offensively, aggressively bad.

Says I have no subscriptions yet I’m being billed for $240. I disputed it with my CC and requested a chargeback. Can someone please figure out wtf is going on?
