@peteskomoroch @googlenest Same experience, *insanely bad* customer service. After 6 months of efforts that completely failed and wasted time they told me the product was out of warranty anyway, and even though it never worked out of the box I was out of luck.

@googlenest “Something went wrong” “There was a glitch”. From the Google home app: “Cannot connect to Google” when trying to link a new device after the recommended resets: “Cannot link to Google account” Everything was fine 24 hours ago. No settings were changed in the meantime.

    Daniel H (@bakabreath) reported

@googlenest Also is this just a step to see what the issue is? If I link with a different Google account, won’t I lose all access to my Google photos and YouTube music account (on the smart devices)?

  • nlibby987
    Neil Libby (@nlibby987) reported

@googlenest I have reset my router and modem (shouldn't matter because on my phone it is not working either when on cellular data), my devices are no more than 10-15ft away from the wireless access point. The devices have been power cycled with no luck, they just load to the black screen.

@googlenest It only works on my wife's phone on or off wifi no problem, so I think it may have to do with my account .. any ideas ?

@googlenesthelp wifi speed drops to 10% of available speed. Even when disconnect and reconnect this is the issue

@googlenesthelp I was told days ago that I would receive a shipping label so I can send back a defective Google Home Max speaker and receive a replacement, but I've been put around what feels like an endless loop by support. Please help.

    Adam T (@AJBeaks) reported

@EkomAK @googlenesthelp @googlenest If it's of any use, the issue ended up being with the bridge. I had to reset to factory settings and reload everything. If you have a square bridge there is a tiny hole on the back to reset with a pin. Doing this worked, but it forgot everything!

  • garbageglamour

@googlenest Unfortunately, I don’t think it’s on your end. It only happens with the Crunchyroll app. Everything else is fine! It seems this has been an issue for years when I looked it up.

@googlenest Being unable to see the actual date of a reminder message seems... like bad design.

Hey @google @googlenesthelp @madebygoogle even with the bass turned down completely, my Nest Audio paired speakers still have WAY too much bass. Any way around this?

@googlenest It’s a Samsung TV and I’m using google chrome on Mac. YouTube connects fine to chromecast, but other sites including Netflix are not connecting, I get an error message of “source not supported”

  • bakabreath
    Daniel H (@bakabreath) reported

@googlenest Interesting. Different account. Factory reset hub is connected to the network but says “Problem connecting to cloud. Please try again later.” Same error I’m getting from my previous attempts with previous Gmail account. Brand new account. Everything works just fine. what’s next?

  • PsychicMoonSan
    QC Adventures (@PsychicMoonSan) reported

@RyanMcKeon1 @gmail @googlenest I created a new account. After either a day or two the new account will be broken as well. Do you have Hubs? I'm finding this appears to be an issue with the UI update being sent to the hubs. People who dont have hubs aren't having this issue.

Wow. @pureprotein has a minor issue and sends me a coupon to replace a couple bars and more. Cool! Made in America. @googlenest breaks under warranty and @google is too cheap to reimburse me $215. Made in China Too bad Pure Protein doesn't make thermostats.

    redpaperrose.com (@redpaperrosecom) reported

@googlenest I'm confident the issue isn't on the client side and would place my bets on an issue either with the software on the doorbell itself or on the nest server side - only thing i haven't tried is switching over from my virgin router to an alternative (I have no stable alternative)

  • SeanBob604
    Sean Bob (@SeanBob604) reported

@googlenest It's working for both of us now. The point was to let you know of an issue with your systems. It was not at our end.

  • redpaperrosecom
    redpaperrose.com (@redpaperrosecom) reported

@googlenest and then about 15 mins later, doorbell goes offline until a power cycle (power off, power on)... this happens every time after someone rings... offline after 15 mins (not immediately) - power supply is fine, no powerline devices - nest has no online connection issues otherwise.

    Pete Skomoroch (@peteskomoroch) reported

@JHanlon @googlenest Yes, I suspect that's the case as mine is a DropCam Pro from pre Google acquisition. In the last email exchange they told me to reset the wifi connection under settings, which has you type in the serial number for the DropCam. It doesn't recognize the camera so that's a bad sign.

@gmail Hi, I was told by the @googlenest account to contact you in regards to some issues I have with my account. Attempted to troubleshoot a loss of connectivity with all nest devices. Not a network problem as I could use a brand new account and get everything to work.
