My @googlenest thermostat has been offline on the app for 6 months. We've done every recommended troubleshooting, uninstalled the app and reinstalled and nothing. It's extremely frustrating and I'm about to get rid of it all together.

@googlenest It should absolutely NOT be allowed for a Chromecast, a wireless device, marketed as requiring the same base wireless network, to be accessible via the network OUTSIDE of the router generating the wireless LAN. Fix this.

@googlenest Google nest is black w/green light flashing. Rebooting steps: took off thermostat&placing it back no help, pressing down for 30 sec light turns to orange once&continues to blink green. Placed it charging to the outlet, green light continues with no help.

@googlenesthelp @weareboxt Hi can you help please? UK Nest constantly disconnecting from heat link several times a day. Wifi fine nothing else disconnects, nest in same room as router. Computer several rooms away on wifi never loses conection. Installed September with new boiler.

@googlenest nest thermostat is a nightmare lately. No matter what setting or troubleshooting I do my thermostat keeps spiking 10 degrees at night. Not safe when you have a baby you dress for the temperature at bedtime then it's horribly hot overnight.

Help. Need a reliable smoke alarm that talks to each other not @googlenest . We have had 4 false alarms since Christmas Day. Christmas Day we got one at 2am! Which I can only assume was due to santa creating a soot cloud when he came down the chimney.

@googlenest Don't buy! It worked great, but had a hardware issue that prevented it from connecting to the internet. Kept rebooting and wouldn't hold a temperature. I had to wake up every few hours to keep my family warm. Customer support was useless.

@bryanrbeal @googlenest I have an outdoor one that goes offline about once per day because it won’t give up on a weak 5Ghz and just connect to 2.4 permanently. Has me considering breaking them into separate SSIDs. Other than that no issues.

@googlenesthelp @weareboxt forgot to mention H71 error. Reset nest several times. Even wifi even though that isn't the issue. Still disconnects throughout the day.
