@googlenest You have one of the worst customer care practices I have had the misfortune to deal with. Over a week without any action. You obviously don't value lives enough to consider the implications of your products failing. Smoke detectors should be reliable. Yours are not.

@googlenesthelp Thermostat to the router is about 15 yards away through the floor and wall. Computer and cell phone further down the hall have no issues connecting. No devices, baby monitors or microwave in the vicinity.

@googlenest is the WORST. I had to call a HVAC technician to my house because my AC was not working. After trouble shooting the technician said it was the NEST thermostat. Mind you this thermostat was working until 2 days ago.

@googlenesthelp No error message. There's a spinning graphic around the edge of the dial and it never detects any networks at all. I have both 2.4 and 5 ghz networks here, too. Thanks!

@googlenesthelp my nest doorbell (wired) has been slowly dying this week. I've factory reset twice. And normal reset 5 times. Each time it came back. Now it's just a green led and doesn't work. It's about 4-6 months old. Please help. It needs a replacement as it's faulty.

So here I am with a $372 bill because I didn’t call @googlenest first for troubleshooting. I guess you’re suppose to call a plumber if your electricity goes out in a room. CLEARLY the plumbing is the PROBLEM!

@googlenesthelp Actually, I fixed the issue by turning off IPv6 on my router. So it seems nest thermostats aren't future ready because they can't handle this.

@googlenesthelp About 30 feet from router to Nest. I have 2 Deco mesh network units near it, one on either side. Nearest wireless device to it is a tankless water heater. Hasn't previously been an issue.

@googlenesthelp It's been happening for 3 years, getting progressively less reliable. I added more nest nodes as I was lead to believe it was an internet issue. Other nest items on the network work great including thermostats, smoke detectors, Yale lock, Phillips lights, kasa smart plugs.

@googlenest @jmwein This is rediculous! My family has a gsuite account so we have to create fake accounts to use nest? The nagging migration message needs to go away if this is the case. Also, my wife signed in and hit continue past the error so now it's an empty account not asking to migrate!
