@googlenesthelp Wow so impressed! 2+ hours on a call, and 45 minutes on support chat trying to get a refund for my Nest Hello that is peeling and cracking. No it’s not covered under warranty anymore. I just had the worst experience ever. You guys really hate your customers.

@googlenesthelp Sorry, but a converter is a converter. Little point in having a Nest if it can’t be used to it’s full potential. There does seem to be an industry aversion to this situation. Considering Open Therm was conceived in 1996 implementation is abysmally slow.

@adamnash @googlenest I have felt your pain. Home was not created with what the customer wanted in mind, but as a leap toward some PM’a vision. The awkward middle ground is terrible:

I hate that @googlenest subscriptions and services don't work with @GoogleWorkspace accounts. Many people use workspace for their family accounts. And for whatever reason we can't integrate into all of the consumer / residential products and services easily. Help!

@googlenest @jmwein So, Have known this was an issue for over a year. However having my nest forcefully disconnected from the account its been connected to for years is really poor experience. Used to be my recommendation for almost a decade. Part 1 of hopefully 2.

@googlenesthelp It has happened from the moment we set up. When we had the wired version we didn't have this issue. I added a zone to test out.

@googlenesthelp Hi, having to re link up my nest wifi router and point. Home app finds the router, I scan QR code but then get message 'modem isn't giving wifi point an internet connection'. My broadband provider says this is problem with my nest router not them. Is it? thanks.

@googlenesthelp It is extremely disappointing to see such a big company not be able to give a refund to a customer who has already had bad issues with chrome cast delivery, thermostat malfunctions, etc. That is not my focus and I don’t care about that right now. My doorbell is.

@googlenesthelp I'm in the UK, they work individually if I tap them, and they all give the same response. It works fine on two other speakers that I have which are not in a pair. Here are some forum threads of loads of people with the same issue:

@kaPOWed @googlenest @Intergasheating It’s a combi so will control it via the front on the boiler. Press the thermometer on the left and the green light will go to the tap, then press up and down for desired temp. Then on the right you have constant or eco mode options.

@googlenesthelp @googlenest this device not working with GSuite is literally absurd. you mean that every other Smart home product I own can be used with my google account, but not the product I actually bought from google. Never buying another google product. It’s not 2009, wtf?

If @googlenest support can go by business days, shouldn’t that apply to me and their return window? Tried to work with support in good faith and now they are refusing a return. Part of the delay was them and also waiting for shipment of replacement parts, that didn’t fix anything

@googlenesthelp Lol take money from your customers within minutes, but make the refund as painful as possible. And don’t tell me you're with me; nobody’s been updating me on anything for a whole MONTH. Seems like I'm not the only one with this issue either. Go check reddit. #scammers #liars #wtf

@googlenesthelp yes, the network name got changed, but the issue is however and whatever I am trying it is saying unable to find network. I tried to restart network, tried to connect using 2.4 or 5 ghz , resetting entire thermostat to factory setting, everything. no luck.

You only have to use @googlenest products to see how the company works. Broken out individual teams that have no communication among themselves. They find a way to continue to make the Nest experience worse and continue fragmenting it. What's up @sundarpichai ?
-
Salvador_Dalis_Atmospheric_Skull

So that's cool. When you order a Nest product and it breaks in two weeks, under warranty you get a refurb unit. Which is ****! @googlenest Why wouldn't we be getting a new unit?
