HostGator (@HostGator) reported@juhca @HGSupport @TitanEmail To assist you better, could you please send us a direct message with more details about the issue, including any relevant account or domain information?

Daniel Micovic (@DanMicovic) reported@Hostgator @HGSupport We are entering Week 2 without access to revenue producing websites and still no updates from "escalated support team". This is obviously beyond HG scope as no other hosts are still struggling with this issue. Unacceptable.
-
HostGator Support (@HGSupport) reported@ZennieAbraham62 @HostGator Thank you for the outreach. Support can assist with WP installs, login or admin access issues, installing, plugin and theme activation, plugin and theme errors conflicts and more. For other WP concerns beyond our scope try Pro Design Live subscriptions for personalized guidance.

Daniel Micovic (@DanMicovic) reported@HostGator @HGSupport entering day 6 without access to 3 revenue producing sites, and no one at HG has any answers, only cut-and-paste replies. Hearing nearly 50k sites still down and HG is recruiting help on Fiverr. Epic fail and clear signal that revenue producing sites cannot trust HG.

Sean Wyseman (@StressStopper) reported@HostGator @WamanyaPious There's another issue that's worse than that. Hostgator just totally changed their webmail interface in their hosting service & is telling me that I have to live with the new interface. Here's why that's a problem. I've used the same interface for >20 years. I've got daily work habits that depend on it. But what did Hostgator do? They decided that ALL of their clients that use Hostgator are getting a new interface that's a disaster. If you liked the fact that all your stuff was laid out in a way that made working in it a breeze - YOU CAN'T HAVE THAT ANYMORE. Why is that a problem? Hostgator NEVER CONSULTED THEIR USERS - NEVER gave them a chance to TRY the new interface & choose. NO. WITHOUT ANY WARNING WHATSOEVER - The changed it & when I call for support they claim there's nothing they can do. Since I have to change interfaces - which is a massive problem - I might as well switch providers because forcing changes on your customer base without warning & without any opportunity to even express an opinion - is the dumbes think I've seen in hosting services. Therefore if I have to change interfaces I might as well get a new hosting service - despite being >20 years with Hostgator - looks like they hired too many DEI supporters. Still can't believe they did this. Please, if you read this far, someone suggest a better hosting service if you can recommend on that interacts with it's customers before changing their lives forever.

Grok (@grok) reportedBased on recent reviews and reports (as of 2026), common issues with BigRock hosting in India include migration glitches from HostGator (e.g., downtime, domain-hosting disconnects in 2025), slow server speeds/high ping on shared plans, limited speed features like no built-in CDN, higher renewal rates, and mixed support (some quick resolutions, others unhelpful with refunds/upgrades). Positives: Indian servers for faster local access, reliable for many users. Check Trustpilot for latest feedback before deciding.

Ken (@angelsthinking) reportedURGENT! What’s wrong with HostGator? I need to contact my patient by email but HostGator just gives us the runaround. Anyone have similar problems?
-
Vrajesh Parekh (@yourwebcoders) reported@HGSupport @HostGator And even after deleting and cleaning everything on 29th Jul, they are not even replying to the email, and their support is unable to do anything, just playing from pillar to post (senior tier 1, higher admin, level 2 and whatnot). I am extremely disappointed and want to migrate,

Joseph Franco (@francojosephsd) reported@HGSupport When will you correct the VPS service? 96 hour is way out of good service.
-
Daniel Micovic (@DanMicovic) reported@HGsupport @HostGator now Google is taking down ads and organic ratings because the sties can't be reached. Thoughts? Compensation to regain rankings? Would love to hear any suggestions you may have as this disaster drags on.

Dr. Simon Taki Zaku, D.B.A (@realsimonzaku_) reportedGetting started with a website is actually quite easy. First step is to select a webhost & install your WordPress framework. I personally use and recommend @Hostgator because their customer support is phenomenal, ensuring you never wait hours to resolve tech problems.

Chris McElroy SEO (@seochrismcelroy) reportedI can't believe hostgator support has gotten this bad. I needed help with a domain transfer. Called them. Selected help with domain names in the menu. The people I got said since I don't have a hosting account with them they can't help me. I asked them to connect me with somebody that could. But the only thing you can do is chat when it comes to domain names. Never register your domain name at hostgator.

Joseph Franco (@francojosephsd) reported@HGSupport How many sites do @HostGator have down?
-
Sacrifice for the Future (@AdvDefConcepts) reported@HostGator @JanesErica49730 I completely agree, the new Roundcube sucks. To make it worse, they are completely tone deaf to why we don't like it. Their comment "You will get used to it". 😳

Eder (@Eder55164219) reported@HostGator That's the problem, there's no way to contact them. send DM with case number

Kishor K Sukumar (@kishorksukumar) reportedDay 9 of my server being completely DOWN with @HostGator. 📉 Provided all details via DM as requested, still nothing. Tickets ACOM-3138 & E-518989 haven't seen an email update in over 60 hours. What does it take to get an actual resolution? @HGSupport
-
Mehmet (@mettersoy) reportedAfter 14 years as a HostGator customer, I’m leaving. Not because of price. Not because of performance. But because they silently blocked all outbound traffic and took down my ecommerce business. 🧵👇
-
Chris (@ccpharrell) reportedI don't post often, but wanted to reiterate how terrible @HostGator is....down yet again with a 24 - 48 hour ETR....great stuff...
-
Daniel Micovic (@DanMicovic) reported@HostGator @HGSupport Today makes six days without access to my server and three revenue generating sites. No new sales, no access to email will lead to customer (revenue) loss. Zero updates and appears no progress being made. The class-action law firms are circling. Complete incompetence on display.

Joe Youngblood - SEO, Futurology, AI, Marketing (@YoungbloodJoe) reportedWe have a client hosted by @HostGator's shared hosting system and has been for around 20-years or so. They've hit the limit of 'inodes' on the highest shared hosting plan so were forced to upgrade either by leaving Host Gator or going to a VPS. After a discussion with Host Gator they decided to take a discounted offer and switch to an HG hosted VPS server, HG graciously tossed in free migration from the shared hosting to VPS for a smooth transition. It has been a nightmare since. The website's images are almost all no longer displaying. Host Gator's "migration" team is in India and has screwed up the migration twice now all while a USA based sales person keeps assuring our client that things are going to be fixed asap and it should be done any minute. At one point they took up ALL of the storage space on the VPS for this one site to be moved over. Then they were silent for a full 24-hours before sending a disclaimer and asking permission to delete the data on the VPS server. We are 5 full days into this ordeal without a successful server migration and client is now in a full blown panic. They decided to keep ads running, etc... after being told it would be done in less than 24-hours. They paid for a full year of this hosting up front saying HG's support had improved in recent years and are now getting completely wrecked. Client is worried they might accidentally delete the website or other websites they had built on the shared hosting (which they are keeping). GoDaddy often gets numerous (and extremely valid) complaints about being the worst hosting solution, but all of @NewfoldDigital is right behind them.

Maxitrol 🏝️✈️🥥 (@maxitrol_404) reported@NamecheapCEO Keep prices low! I switched to Namecheap from Hostgator because you are 3x cheaper at least. Also your support is great, don't replace it with AI
-
Zennie Abraham ZENNIE62 #NFL #NFLDRAFT #SDCC #OAK (@ZennieAbraham62) reported@HGSupport @NewfoldDigital I have emails from HostGator going back to 2010. I can show you many times HostGator Admins have done yeoman work in coding. I learned a lot from them. That should be your model, not this frankly lazy approach that HG has adopted. Make some coin and help your customers.
-
B2B2B2B? Nicky D (@nick_donellan) reported@HGSupport we are still having issues with our email servers. This is like the 8th or 9th day of issues. It takes about 45 seconds to pull up every email. We run a medical equipment supply company and emails are getting lost and accidentally deleted with important documents in

Satyam Gupta (@TheSatyamGupta) reportedOur website has been down for 6 hours and the server issue is not yet fixed. @BigRock @HostGator claims 99.9% uptime in spite of this we are facing this issue.
