    I am beginning to think that hackers are targeting servers at @HostGator it seems like every other day a site is targeted with malware or some type of malicious activity. I can never talk to someone at a higher level to discuss. So what are the better hosting provider options?

    @BronsonOQuinn @HGSupport Sorry. I didn’t see this till now. Says service maintenance. However, the non planned nature of it and the length of time probably says something blew up in their face

    I have the ability to track my emails to see when they are read. Hostgator has read support request emails that I have submitted and still has failed to respond to those emails. Support chat is useless, and phone support is no better.

    @HGSupport Hello. Is someone actually working on this? It has been ONE WEEK you can't fix something as simple as delisting an IP from Hotmail's blacklist. Is that such a hard task for your whole support team?

    @HGSupport How many times do we have to call or chat to get an issue resolved? Let’s see if you can help escalating and resolving. Case 44365764 opened 8 days ago. Mind you it was apparently escalated but who knows?

    @ImAnthonyDaniel As much as GoDaddy sucks, it's quite possible that HostGator sucks even more, they'd probably do the same thing or worse, get your site hacked and do nothing about it. Pick a better company, not ones pushed by affiliates or marketers.

    @josephmwood Any savvy WordPress guru would definitely tell you to stay far, far away from HostGator. They are horrible. If not long contracts, expect malware, downtime and minimal service. Don't listen to any affiliates or paid marketers. They just want commission. Buyer beware and be smart.

    @HostGator what's happening with chat customer support? The last three days, I login, select chat, the window opens, and says that I will be connected with an agent within 5 minutes. Nothing changes for several minute after - 10, 15, 30 minutes.

    I have been a @HostGator customer for 16 years and rarely need customer support. Lately, when I have needed tech support, I have been severely disappointed not only in response times but the level of support. The CSRs appear to lack basic comprehension of how hosting works.

    @eliffio @HGSupport Sometimes the support team is really frustrating, I had similar issue but it was later rectified by @hephaestuslock, I think you should hit him up on Instagram

    @HGSupport the WORST technical support ever. When you call them they disconnect and when you chat they give you the same run around. They opened a case 8 days ago and still no resolution. Probably contacted them 5 different times. Complete incompetence and aggravation.

    @HostGator I have been waiting for 5 days for an admin to delete a pending transfer. What a joke of a company 5 days!! No Email because I can't change name servers because of a pending transfer. I never received the acknowledged!!!! Admin do your job and fix the issue

    It also appears that HostGator's servers are prone to and targeted with Malware. I miss the days when their support was based out of the US in Texas and Florida. If they are cutting corners on the support, I can't imagine how they are when it comes to server security.

    @HGSupport Well, maybe live up to the "we'll call you back in 9 minutes" or say something that's more truthful, like "If you stay on the line you will get support in X minutes. Otherwise feel free to think we will call you back, but we won't."

    @HGSupport Good Morning, I’m having issues uploading files through my FTP and was running into issues uploading through the file manager but that seems to be working now. This is something that I run into with your server multiple times per month. It tells me that disk is full

    @yourlocalcinema @HGSupport Was your issue resolved? I'm looking for a new host, but it seems like ALL of them are having issues constantly. Do you recommend this hosting service?

    For example. The CSR told me that the DNS was not pointing to HostGator when in fact, the "A Record" was pointing to HG's IP address. This was not a one-time issue, as I have had to reach out for the same issue at least 5 times already for the same issue.

    Hostgator temporarily suspended my website because I didn't verify my damn email address in 15 days. Didn't know I was supposed to do that since your emails show up in my spam folder.
