Kishor K Sukumar (@kishorksukumar) reported@HostGator @HGSupport @HostGator You still haven't answered the only question that matters: WHEN? "Assigned to the best team" doesn't help me after 9 DAYS of a completely locked-out server. Stop asking for patience and give me an actual ETA for ACOM-3138 immediately!
-
Hephzibah Magazine TV (@Gabbybooks82) reported@HGSupport @HostGator What else do you need.D server has been down for 3 weeks. When it happened we immediately contacted you, and you recommended, we purchase a new dedicated server for migration, which we did but you never could fix the old server to migrate us to D new. *I-25506113 is the ref ID*

Josh Humble (@joshhumble) reportedLooks like @HostGator, @HGSupport's website installer is down (both attempting Wordpress install and blank site)? Freezing up on my account, can't proceed. Browser refreshes and multiple attempts don't work. Ugh - technology.

Zennie Abraham ZENNIE62 #SuperBowlLX #NFLDRAFT (@ZennieAbraham62) reportedHey @grok do you know why HostGator now closes its offices rather than give 24-hour support, unlike they sed to ?
-
INALEGWU (@tchaloyi) reportedThe whole automated stuff doesn't always cut it. Especially when it comes to customer service. I don't want to chat or speak with a bot. Connect me to a human. Blood and flesh. Reason I will always praise @HostGator. Those guys have one of the most responsive customer relations services out there, and no, this is not a PR.

Vrajesh Parekh (@yourwebcoders) reported@HostGator @ValeriaGadioli @HostGatorBrasil We have been using a VPS server and reseller hosting for the past 15 years, and recently one of our clients' domains was infected with malware. Instead of suspending that particular domain, they shut down the whole server. For the past 7 days, more than 50 sites are held hostage

Zennie Abraham ZENNIE62 #SuperBowlLX #NFLDRAFT (@ZennieAbraham62) reported@HGSupport @HostGator This was a back end, server-related Wordpress issue. Not every Wordpress problem has to do with theme or plugin, singularly. Also, there's an outstanding malware problem HostGator was supposed to solve and call me about, and did phone call.
-
Zennie Abraham ZENNIE62MEDIA #CES #NFLDRAFT #SDCC (@ZennieAbraham62) reportedHey @HGSupport Vinayak is playing games with me. HG admins know how to update the SSL Certificate, but he acts like he can't do it and will not get help. I asked him to get a supervisor. He will not.

Murder by Gaslight. (@GaslightMurder) reported@HGSupport Isn't this the most basic function of your company? What is going on? When will it be fixed? Why is it so hard to get anyone to respond to problems?
-
John Peterson (@johnpetersontx) reported@YoungbloodJoe @HostGator Instead, it's often better to put them on a managed hosting service of some sort. I found this out the hard way when I got hacked on a VPS because then I didn't keep up with package updates.

JK’s Case History (@KenMediated) reportedWhat’s wrong with HostGator? I need to contact my doctor but HostGator just gives me the runaround. Anyone have similar problems?
-
Misty Lake | Photographer (@Misty_Lake) reported@HGSupport I never had a free plan. The email address doesn't say HostGator or Gator in the domain.
-
Hephzibah Magazine TV (@Gabbybooks82) reported@HostGator @HGSupport I’m reaching out on behalf of my brother. His educational platform serving over 3000 schools in Nigeria has been down for over 2 weeks under case E-527097. We keep receiving only automated responses. Please we urgently need escalation to a senior engineer o

Sir Charles Cary (@SirCharlesCary) reported@NewfoldDigital @HostGator How is it that a customer of 15 yrs is treated w/ such little regard? I have not received any notice stating that your company's policy is not to refund customers on advanced hosting payments when svc is discontinued after 3 failures in 2 months

Laurus Travel (@laurustravel) reported@HostGator Our websites hosted by you have been down for 10+ hours. How much longer do we have to wait?
-
Daniel Micovic (@DanMicovic) reported@HGsupport @HostGator now Google is taking down ads and organic ratings because the sties can't be reached. Thoughts? Compensation to regain rankings? Would love to hear any suggestions you may have as this disaster drags on.

Sean Wyseman (@StressStopper) reported@HostGator @WamanyaPious There's another issue that's worse than that. Hostgator just totally changed their webmail interface in their hosting service & is telling me that I have to live with the new interface. Here's why that's a problem. I've used the same interface for >20 years. I've got daily work habits that depend on it. But what did Hostgator do? They decided that ALL of their clients that use Hostgator are getting a new interface that's a disaster. If you liked the fact that all your stuff was laid out in a way that made working in it a breeze - YOU CAN'T HAVE THAT ANYMORE. Why is that a problem? Hostgator NEVER CONSULTED THEIR USERS - NEVER gave them a chance to TRY the new interface & choose. NO. WITHOUT ANY WARNING WHATSOEVER - The changed it & when I call for support they claim there's nothing they can do. Since I have to change interfaces - which is a massive problem - I might as well switch providers because forcing changes on your customer base without warning & without any opportunity to even express an opinion - is the dumbes think I've seen in hosting services. Therefore if I have to change interfaces I might as well get a new hosting service - despite being >20 years with Hostgator - looks like they hired too many DEI supporters. Still can't believe they did this. Please, if you read this far, someone suggest a better hosting service if you can recommend on that interacts with it's customers before changing their lives forever.

Kishor K Sukumar (@kishorksukumar) reportedDay 9 of my server being completely DOWN with @HostGator. 📉 Provided all details via DM as requested, still nothing. Tickets ACOM-3138 & E-518989 haven't seen an email update in over 60 hours. What does it take to get an actual resolution? @HGSupport

Joe Youngblood - SEO, Futurology, AI, Marketing (@YoungbloodJoe) reportedWe have a client hosted by @HostGator's shared hosting system and has been for around 20-years or so. They've hit the limit of 'inodes' on the highest shared hosting plan so were forced to upgrade either by leaving Host Gator or going to a VPS. After a discussion with Host Gator they decided to take a discounted offer and switch to an HG hosted VPS server, HG graciously tossed in free migration from the shared hosting to VPS for a smooth transition. It has been a nightmare since. The website's images are almost all no longer displaying. Host Gator's "migration" team is in India and has screwed up the migration twice now all while a USA based sales person keeps assuring our client that things are going to be fixed asap and it should be done any minute. At one point they took up ALL of the storage space on the VPS for this one site to be moved over. Then they were silent for a full 24-hours before sending a disclaimer and asking permission to delete the data on the VPS server. We are 5 full days into this ordeal without a successful server migration and client is now in a full blown panic. They decided to keep ads running, etc... after being told it would be done in less than 24-hours. They paid for a full year of this hosting up front saying HG's support had improved in recent years and are now getting completely wrecked. Client is worried they might accidentally delete the website or other websites they had built on the shared hosting (which they are keeping). GoDaddy often gets numerous (and extremely valid) complaints about being the worst hosting solution, but all of @NewfoldDigital is right behind them.

Lucas Castro (@adiospipino) reported@HGSupport I have a production server down for more than 24 hours and still no solution or clear update. Please provide news regarding the maintenance/work you said would be performed today on the affected CentOS servers related to the known cPanel issue reported by your team.

Neumie Awards (@NeumieAwards) reported@HGSupport @HostGator my VPS has been up and down for almost five days now. Every chat session is "we know and we are working on it." Come on! What are you doing? I need this fixed
-
Joe (@JoeJavaJuice) reported@KenMediated Yep just ended a near 20 year relationship with HostGator. Changing terms of service, new tiers of disk usage limitations, 25% increased cost from last three year contract term and the latestest unethical billing practices. @HostGator is officially on the do not recommend list.
-
Daniel Micovic (@DanMicovic) reported@HGSupport @HostGator Nothing is connecting. No cPanel or WHM access, sites and email still down.
-
HADESNYC®️ (@HADESNYC) reported@HGSupport my site is down. I need help now
-
Brooke (Bates) Bilyj (@batesbn) reported@YoungbloodJoe @HostGator Out of all the shared hosting - I've had the least problems with Bluehost.
-
Karen Lakeman (@KarenLakeman) reportedterrible #CustomerService from @HGSupport today! @HostGator #CaveatEmptor if this organisation crashes your website they will blame you! #TheCustomerIsAlwaysWrong
-
Zennie Abraham ZENNIE62 #NFL #NFLDRAFT #SDCC #OAK (@ZennieAbraham62) reported@HGSupport But the old HostGator would simply charge a fee to fix a “custom config” because it had experts who knew how to code and who knew Wordpress. Why would @NewfoldDigital shy away from making money?
-
Sleak (@Sleaklight) reportedAny we host recommendations? @hostgator now is going to limit how many email boxes we have and I want to jump ship. I only use it for email anyway as the sites there all got hacked and got no help from support.

Chan Walrus (@chanwalrus) reportedI think you've done really well. As someone who hosts all my clients on Namecheap, yesterday was absolute chaos for me. :D Lots of phone calls. Woke up this morning and things were fixed. Thank you very much. I still trust Namecheap and I do have something that needs to be said: One of our customers is on wix, but their domain name is on Namecheap. To the people who were talking about hosting across platforms, their website lost connection. The more you split up your hosting information, the more problems can happen in a system. Let's say you host your site on Namecheap and your domain name is on Hostgator. If either go down for an outage like this, you still have the problem, there are just multiple risks. More potential points of failure.

DN (@danielnardicio) reportedWhen looking to replace the dreadful @GoDaddy @GoDaddyHelp with a better company with better customer service, try out Bluehost SiteGround DreamHost HostGator HostPapa InMotion Hosting. You dont have to accept terrible customer service.
