@HGSupport Your support staff keeps trying to charge me $25 to do a restoration of the site AFTER it went down. It is terrible @HostGator. The website was up on the 6th according to the internet archive, but the back ups are gone according to @HGSupport. It has not been repaired.

@skystracloud I set up the DNS myself. @Hostgator utterly failed by: (1) letting the site go down and not alerting me to it (2) seeming to also wipe our backups that we are paying for And no one at @HGSupport seems to know what to do.

So my Hostgator shared server doesn't have php 8 and one of their representatives is asking me to purchase another shared server with php 8 and migrate all my 6 sites. I'm so confused. Why there's old and new shared server with different service???

Time is money. Which is exactly why I don't do hosting business with GoDaddy. HostGator support wait time: <1 minute GoDaddy: Sometimes 5 minutes. Sometimes >8 hours. I need support now. not tomorrow. If you're thinking of hosting a site with GoDaddy, don't.

@HGSupport we just clean site with infinity360 from other service provider - they included that in cpanel #HostGator not giving this simple thing if Hostgator reseller having 200-300 websites and hit with malware he/she will be dead for sure LoL

@BigRock your server is too slow but the support team blaming me and saying my script has an issue, But the same scripts does not show any server response issues on my previous issue hostgator i am not sure why you are denying your fault rather than fix it

When you migrate a site with .@HostGator to an upgraded server, they leave both accounts open and don't migrate all your services automatically... and then your site breaks. LIKE WTF

@abyssdomainxprt @HostGator Surprised to see Sophos picked it up. Never had good results with it. Guessing it's doing it on combo: heuristics of "tiny encrypted ISO" plus possibly a hash? I intentionally D/L'd on a box with MalwareBytes just to see whether it picked it up - nope.

Do you know what is the worst hosting company? @HostGator . I am using it for 6 months already, and I regret it. 1) ****** customer support. Solve 1 issue out of 10. 2) When I upload app files to the Hostgator, the design becomes broken 3)Cannot edit CSS files, only inside HTML.

1) Support - The slowest support in work, it take 10-15 minute to connect, and 90% of the time does not resolve the problem 2) For example my reseller server got attacked with Malware - HostGator support chat suggesting me to try a third-party malware cleaner...

@HGSupport I know the prices - my you promoting SiteLock too much?? Don't you provide services like infinity360 for resellers? Even it can be an add-on you should provide - instead of giving a solution for the third party also, What do you say about Support? No Tickets, No Support Email?

They have unofficially discontinued ticket system. Making it hard to get help. And #hostgator chat only helps with basic issues. Asked chat guys for updates and the reply was: "Our team is working on the issue"

@skystracloud I can't believe it. @hostgator had an outage and it wiped out our wordpress database and our DNS records. They haven't fixed anything and everyone I speak to at @HGSupport is totally unable to help us. I will be switching to a far better service as soon as possible.

@HostGator Interesting, They deleted a previous identical post full of screaming (ex?-)customers - including me - last week. They've had us down three times in two weeks. And some imbecile "fixed" our site by deleting our carefully customised htaccess file! Move hosts. It's the only way.
