I REFUSE (@seanrogers8) reported@HostGator @HGSupport When will you fix your email hosting? You provide the worst service ever!
-
I REFUSE (@seanrogers8) reported@HGSupport @HostGator @spamhaus Your tech support sucks. They have been working on it for 2 days. My company email still doesn't work!! If your employees were competent your service would work
-
King Stanky (@TheKingOfStank) reported@MichaelFKane Time to set up your domain on a proxy that redirects traffic to a bunch of different services, 1 amazon, 1 hostgator, 1 idk something else. Then have them load distribute based on availability. You can never be too safe.
-
David Abram 🐊 (@devabram) reported@lucasMnts But you need to ship, you are riddle with skill issues and don't know linux. Also hostgator is dying from your ****** PHP code.
-
Shawn Brown (@shawnbb13827) reported@HostGator has been the worst hosting provider I’ve ever dealt with. They take your money, set up an account, and then suddenly cancel it without giving any explanation. Their customer service is almost impossible to understand and the entire experience has been nothing but awful
-
Zak Kann (Fractional CTO) (@zrkann) reported@FakeUncleNemo Agree generally, but not with Hostgator. EIG subsidiaries (Hostgator, Bluehost, etc) lure people in with cheap intro rates but they quickly raise the prices, their defaults are slow and often have security vulnerabilities, and their customer support, well, I'm not sure it exists.
-
coltswalker (@coltswalker) reportedThe worst web and email hosting provider is Hostgator. They suspend user accounts without warning. Their censorship policy is arbitrary allowing no clear definition of policy. Your opinion is not allowed on your own web site! #scam #HostGatorSux
-
Tawheed (@tawheedsofia) reported@BigRock one of the worst companies every -friends be careful - they dont ifnrom u anything - they migrated me from hostgator then blackmailed me into taking expensive VPS server and then now emailed me to change name servers - did it - BOOM full crash !!!!!

HostGator Support (@HGSupport) reported@dcodrea We know that popup looks sketchy, but it isn’t from your HostGator site; it’s a browser extension (Coupert) injecting coupon ads over your dashboard. Try incognito or another browser; if it’s gone, remove the extension. If not, support can help!
-
Annie 🍁 Freedom Enthusiast (@westcoastgirl1) reported@HGSupport my sites are down because of your poor service over 24hours now. I have moved on to another host and it has been night and day between the 2 providers... all I got from you is to be strung along, probably went through at least 5 of your chatbots and it deteriorated each time
-
Makarand Mane | Organising #WCAsia 2026 (@mkrndmane) reportedDear @HostGator I am using your reseller hosting for more than 9 year & your @HGSupport quality is now gone down to dumb level. Seating for 2 hours on chat & no resolution yet. Your novice agent is not able to understand issue even after 2 hours. @NewfoldDigital

Stan Vee (@Stan_VeeS) reported@FakeUncleNemo @zrkann I got out of @HostGator about 10 yrs ago. They sabotaged one of my servers and asked $250 for "emergency upgrade". Funny enough, the support engineer who I was on the phone with, fixed it without it but had to switch it off again so they could keep the scam going 🤡
-
Egerton Sinclair (@Eg_a_Sinclair) reported@skystracloud Hey, no it didn’t so I’ve moved to a new provider. Had enough of hostgator and their lack of customer service
-
Annie 🍁 Freedom Enthusiast (@westcoastgirl1) reported@HGSupport your team was not here to help! their response to me was to hire you instead of fixing my problem - I have requested my $$ back.
-
jigsaw kloud (@jigsawkloud) reported@ZKDID_ Never used Hostgator, so I have no point of reference. I switched from SiteGround as their renewal prices just kept increasing. Hoping to eventually switch to decentralised hosting. Keeping an eye on @IagonOfficial
-
Rad Web Hosting (@RadWebHosting) reported@ZennieAbraham62 @HGSupport A better question is why does this process even require support, or for you to request it, then escalate your request? Automated SSL installs, renewals and replacements at $0 for life or ****!!!

-
Zara_Schneider (@ZSchneider76107) reported@voytekbereza @HostGator Sounds like a deployment or script loading issue. This is where stable infrastructure and proper server setup really make a difference.
-
PixelsTech (@PixelstechNet) reportedIt seems our service provider @HostGator has some issue and our site is not able to access atm. Sorry for the inconvenience. Will try to get it back online soon. Thank you for your patience.
-
OkYall (@okyall55) reported@Hostgator, unbeknownst to me, no longer provide, free backups. Had I known this, I certainly would have moved my blog much, much sooner to @BlueHost who provides it DAILY for a free with a $0 restore fee. You have lost your customer service score but your bottom line may have increased TEMPORARILY. Now that I've been forced to review my choice of hosting services for all my blogs and websites, I also have learned that they have almost 10 points higher ratings than you and are a fraction of how much you charge. Why on earth would anybody pay more, get less, and risk loss? Since I have suffered from your lack of customer care, I will be moving my blogs. Do not touch them again until I have gotten all of my content removed

Feo Amante 🇺🇸 🇮🇱 🇺🇦 (@FeoAmante) reported@ethanjaack Day 6 of @HGSupport and they arbitrarily closed the ticket without checking to see if their fix worked. Which it did not. So after all these years, a random, easily solved glitch, ends my time with them. Turning a likely 15 min. Tech call into 3 emails over 6 days? Failure.

Shailesh B Shah Sapan (@shaileshbshah99) reported@BigRock @HostGator @hostgatorindia My website is down since last 4-5 days. The business is in trouble. What are you doing? Now please dont ask to DM my details... It is not only my problem... There are serveral other business, too. Answer here only...
-
Shamail Aijaz (@shamailaijaz) reported@HostGator's customer support is a huge disappointment! It's been 6 days and still no update on my ticket S-2195876. They don't seem to understand the issue and can't provide a solution. This is extremely unprofessional and their customer support is dead. @HGSupport
-
Rev. Wendy Silvers (@WendySilvers) reported@HGSupport I've been attempting to resolve an issue that stems from the Hostgator site for days. I've spent hours on the phone with various Hostgator support and no one has resolved the issue. It's unbelievably frustrating.

Joe Youngblood - SEO, Futurology, AI, Marketing (@YoungbloodJoe) reportedRocketship SEO Plugin: We have identified a memory handling issue with our plugin that appears to largely impact Yoast users on Bluehost (though not HostGator which is the same company) and could impact other shared hosting environments. in 100% of cases we've investigated the issue goes away in a few hours as memory used subsides. You might get an error immediately after activating the plugin that says there has been a critical error on the site. Your site and Admin area are fine though you may not be able to edit plugins / posts / pages, this is the memory issue manifesting itself. You might also get a report emailed by WordPress saying the issue was caused by @Yoast using too much memory, but it is our plugin causing the problem not Yoast. Our best guess at the moment is that this error is caused by our compatibility settings with Yoast which is performed automatically upon install and activation. We are looking at making this process more efficient and improving our compatibility so sites in shared environments like Bluehost do not encounter this issue.
