    Hey @HostGator — your “Live Chat” and “Support” links loop back to your own help page. I’ve got a valid SSL installed, DNS and Cloudflare set up correctly, but my site’s stuck in an HTTPS redirect loop (ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS). Your backend needs to resync the SSL vhost or restart Apache. Any chance someone competent can help me out today?

    @HostGator - their support staff has repeatedly displayed minimal to zero knowledge and are not much more than phone answering clerks. Numerous times we've been given false and varying info. as for the reason for issues #badwebhosting

    Rocketship SEO Plugin: We have identified a memory handling issue with our plugin that appears to largely impact Yoast users on Bluehost (though not HostGator which is the same company). in 100% of cases we've investigated the issue goes away in a few hours as memory used subsides. You might get an error immediately after activating the plugin that says there has been a critical error on the site. Your site and Admin area are fine, this is the memory issue manifesting itself. You might also get a report emailed by WordPress saying the issue was caused by @Yoast using too much memory, but it is our plugin causing the problem not Yoast. Our best guess at the moment is that this error is caused by our compatibility settings with Yoast which is performed automatically upon install and activation. We are looking at making this process more efficient and improving our compatibility so sites in shared environments like Bluehost do not encounter this issue.

    @HostGator It makes me very sad but I'm transitioning all of my domains away from HostGator as your customer support went from amazing to complete crap in the last two years

    HostGator and Network Solutions, both owned by Newfold Digital, are guilty of hostile censorship. Users report struggling to regain access to their sites after wrongful suspensions, with slow, unhelpful customer support failing to provide clear reasons for the lockout.

    @FakeUncleNemo @zrkann I got out of @HostGator about 10 yrs ago. They sabotaged one of my servers and asked $250 for "emergency upgrade". Funny enough, the support engineer who I was on the phone with, fixed it without it but had to switch it off again so they could keep the scam going 🤡

    @HostGator That's crazy, if we have some issues which we can't resolve through the online chat, then there is no way to contact a authoritative person ?. I guess I need to look in to other hosting options then..

    @HGSupport Why @HGSupport is ghosting it's customers? It's been 3 days since I raised an escalation and even after multiple emails I have not received any responses. HG Support used to be far more responsive earlier.

    After 23 years of being a customer of @HostGator they recently deleted/lost all database content for 4 sites during a hosting renewal. In an attempt to get a refund I got a runaround from with 3 different companies including #BlueHost and #Network Solutions. No refund yet.

    Later on I designed the theme for the control panel that all their customers used. Then I redesigned the website. The business started to boom. We started hiring a lot of employees so I went from customer support and website designer to build HostGator’s employee training

    @HGSupport @HostGator Your team did not. If they told you that, its false. I get a Hostgator email whenever I sign in. No problem. I got a Hostgator ad trying to sell me more stuff. No problem. Unfortunately your team of Escalated Techs have been unable to send a simple email since Friday, 9:14am

    HostGator is a terrible web hosting and email company. Even though I prepaid, they deactivated my account months ago. I have not used them since. Now I am getting invoices telling me I am past due! I cancelled months ago!!! #scam #HostGator #webhosting

    @HGsupport We operate a private opt-in discussion list on our mail server used to distribute messages only to subscribed members. The system is not used for spam or bulk commercial mail — it is a controlled discussion list serving legitimate clients-This appears to be a misclassification by your mail system or an IP-level restriction. Who can I contact, as you support number and AI chat doesn't understand

    Genuine question: how do you guys build waitlist websites for your projects? That includes terms and privacy links as well? I have a traditional setup of HostGator, WordPress and a simple theme and editing it is a pain all the time. Help me with this transformation. Any guides out there to modernize my setup with no code tools?
