HostGator is a terrible web hosting and email company. Even though I prepaid, they deactivated my account months ago. I have not used them since. Now I am getting invoices telling me I am past due! I cancelled months ago!!! #scam #HostGator #webhosting

@hgsupport Help. Every time I try to have support upload new wordpress site while backing up old html site, the new site continues to refer to the subdomain I created it in. Good grief...no one in support knows what to do.

@HostGator has been the worst hosting provider I’ve ever dealt with. They take your money, set up an account, and then suddenly cancel it without giving any explanation. Their customer service is almost impossible to understand and the entire experience has been nothing but awful

@HGSupport This is a cry for help. Since 7 days ago 2 Websites hosted on HG have been having outages for 20+ min on average. I already reported this many times to HG Support staff case id INC1132927. The say it will be fixed but still happens.

Google only started flagging the app with Play Protect after TechCrunch’s publication, and the spyware’s operators relaunched service within days. This cycle shows tech platforms can barely keep up when stalkerware pivots, and just about every stalkerware provider eventually leaks all their data.

@HGSupport One of your tech support people had me flush my DNS. It solved the initial problem, but created two others. One, I can't connect my text editor to the server, and it won't let me get to your website portal either. I'm getting an Edge IP Address notification.

@HostGator @WordPress Now it's created a whole new set of problems. At first, it kept directing me to some weird temporary domain. Then I logged in and updated the settings and now it's a 403 error page. Hours of my time is going down the drain for no reason.

@BigRock The migration has so many bugs that it is impossible for me to renew my hosting that I had on hostgator. If I didn't renew by tomorrow, my servers will go down, while bigrock support says they are helpless.

After 23 years of being a customer of @HostGator they recently deleted/lost all database content for 4 sites during a hosting renewal. In an attempt to get a refund I got a runaround from with 3 different companies including #BlueHost and #Network Solutions. No refund yet.
