sleep(86400); @HostGator dedicated server love this command because it sleeps 24 hours frequently and also their @hostgatorindia support. Do you need any other reason to go for AWS instead?

@0bi1Kan0bi @Huk06 @sadapaypk Hosting is a different topic. Hosting decision would depend on your audience and website requirements. I have used hostgator, bluehost, aws based on what was needed and where the users were based. I have never used local Hosting and hence cannot say.

@HGSupport @HostGator Ok, so if you guys do know what the issue is how come we cannot get an ETA. 1 reliable email day in 15 days is a death knell to most businesses nowadays.

@superconsuchan @shoaibhussain Good to hear. I (and many others) have had those issues with Hostgator for years though so it wasn't to do with the migration. Couldn't deal with the stress of my sites randomly going offline anymore so migrated everything away. I do hope it's resolved for you though! 🤞

@HGSupport @HostGator I have been on multiple chats with no help just that I need to wait on admin. After more than 24 hours I got a generic email that said it was ip address. When they are blocked on my phone (not on wifi) as well. More chat now says I need to wait 24 hours more. case #42283522

@HostGator It’s still a problem today July 13. I’ve called Customer support and was last told I’d get a call back in 18 minutes. That was an hour and 45 minutes ago. Just called back and now it’s telling me 99 minutes. Going to lose a lot of customers!

Just deleted about 25 gig of files on my hostgator space, because that's what brought down my shared hosting according to the tech support guy. I'm glad it's up again, but according to the plan description, the disk space is "unmetered", so would like to know the absolute limit

@HostGator The process of getting through to HostGator Support is horrible. First, you get a bot that wants you to say what you’re calling about, then it makes you spell-out your full email address letter-by-letter… A really crappy experience…

@spolandgaming @HostGator I doubt the issues will be resolved any time soon, they started during data center migration couple of weeks back and then things took a big U turn! I guess they have cheap offshore staff with little knowledge lately that’s why so many issues the last year!
