So, @mojomarketplace sold me a website theme that does not work. It took me 3 days and 10 calls to @HostGator tech support to figure out exactly what the problem was. I ended up buying a different theme elsewhere and now Mojo is refusing to refund my money. (1/3)

So @HostGator is down. Luckily I saved my content I wrote before it **** the bed. Took CSR 12 minutes to tell me, they are rebooting the server. Since I am in the industry, that should take 2-3 minutes. It's been over an hour. GRRRR. Oh well, guess I can watch #bills play.

Customer Support at @HostGator has always been amazing to me but I'm hoping that THIS is the call that finally solves whatever has kept my website down for the past two days because I've had more than enough of their frigging hold music. 🙄

@linziehunter @squarespace Easier than trying to get HostGator on the line, especially when the problem is basically my fault somehow. :) I am rebuilding site this week, so I am bitching the whole time... still like it better than Square.

@mirela_iepurela @HostGator just checked. they set it up btw always take a whole site backup every week in case the server went down you would have your data.

I just spent 4 hours in @hostgator online support chat about an urgent problem before they hung up on me. Take heed people, they're quick to bill but crap support. Had been with them about 15 years and this isn't the first occasional problem but is the first time they hung up

Parler will probably go down and maybe even Rumble. They will get control of big hosting companies like Hostgator, Blue Host, etc. and maybe even big registrars like Godaddy and Namecheap. So they will control the internet and all information. ...for 10 dark days.

@HGSupport We have temporarily disabled /home2/mindyj/public_html because it was causing performance issues on the server. Generally, we attempt to resolve these issues without disabling sites; however, this site began to affect the performance for all users on the system.

@gloriousgemma My website was *constantly* down with HostGator; their shared servers are not reliable. They do offer individual hosting but it'll cost you $120+/mo. That's the only way I'd recommend using them for anything lol

@gloriousgemma I bought my domain with namecheap and I do my hosting with hostgator. Then I used wordpress website builder, so my website isn't a wordpress website technically, I just use their software. ya dig? I link out to all my adult platforms, so I don't think I'll get shut down!

@hgsupport @hostgator unilaterally changed my Production Support Site without AUTH & scrambled DB. Tried to charge $25 fix THEIR screwup. Must wait up to 72 hours for fix. After 5+ hours & multiple disconnected calls no resolution. No Mgmt. response #286684394 #28690811.
