looks like @hostgator and @HGSupport has struck again. My student's newspaper site has been down for 12 hours and they can't seem to figure it out. I am now on 3rd support chat while waiting on hold on the phone.

With the financial difficulty concerning Hostgator out of the way - charging me every year about $100+ for a service they no longer provided me... I'm able to focus on my Wix website I started building several years ago; but walked away from when I turned to WordPress&Hostgator

Let's just recap. My emails to @HostGator can't get through. Emails from them don't get to me. I just called support and Mae couldn't hear me. Seems the only way I can contact HG is through Twitter (& they can't verify me, so it doesn't matter.)

@HGSupport I do not have a case number. I cannot communicate with anyone there other than through Twitter. I am so extremely frustrated that I can’t get my issues fixed and can’t communicate with you. I’ve sent a private message with my phone number on maybe you can call me.

@HostGator most incompetent group. My case is pending for over 5 days now. All is get is lies & stories from support. Their admin is not answerable 2 any1 & support is just parroting. My ticket 43326530 is pending for 5 days now. And I can’t get my emails for 5 days. Please don’t use them

@UndeadHeal HostGator is having an issue with all of its customer websites not just mine. If the **** accusations are a part of the title or there is a tag then yes. But if it is just banter in the discussion then no.

@HGSupport Apparently, this was a planned migration, but @hostgator forgot to tell those most impacted by the event. I received no notification. I am being told we'll be down for 48 hours. Lame.

@GalileoSats @ea4gpz @CillianGNSS Hostgator is falling down on the job. They're running SSH 5.3 with insecure signature algorithms that have been removed by default from the current version is 8.2. Very annoying. And all of my website files are missing.

Just contacted HostGator. It's not just Onionfarms, it is all customer websites being affected. Their engineers are working to resolve the issue. Onionfarms has not been taken down.

After 2 or 3 years, I was finally able to cancel my account with Hostgator. The website doesn't work, STILL; and they admit they are aware of this on their automated line; but the phone number on the website works. I spoke with a woman calling herself Nova, I think.
