@HGSupport @HostGator Actually, the problem was on your end. While on the phone with the CSR, everything started working. He said he rebooted the server. Thanks for pointing the finger at me though. Unless, of course, rebooting your server is something I should be doing?

Hey @DreamHostCare techs - would you ever do a migration of hundreds of websites during business hours with no warning at all? @HostGator did just that today! @NewfoldDigital just doesn't care about the customer any more. Leave us hanging in the wind

@HGSupport My name is Cendrine (no H). I finally managed to chat with a representative. Why would the company not update customers about what is going on? Since the outage is affecting thousands of people, @HostGator has a responsibility to communicate with us in a transparent way.

@WarpOneTravel @HostGator They have really gone down hill since being conglomerated by big corps. Support sucks now, uptime, no help at all. 132 sites and 10 years and this is what we get.

Did you know: current website hosts (godaddy, bluehost, hostgator, etc) have the power AND right to shut down your site at any time for any reason. That's not a risk when you host your website on a blockchain with a platform like @pinatacloud or @FleekHQ

@haiku_shack @HostGator Forgive me. I thought you were stating the conversation didn't lead to a solution. I'm happy to hear its resolved. In regards to transparency, when there is a large migration or serverwide issue, our admins send emails or forum posts like above to those impacted by this.

@HostGator All 132 of my websites are offline - what moron decided to do a server migration during business hours? According to YOUR techs, a migration is being done without notice, during PRIME business hours. Previous owner would have never done this
