@YoungbloodJoe I understand that HostGator is not the best choice for hosting, but it's not horrible, we have clients with sites hosted in HostGator that load in 1-2 secs on 3g network. Want to truly destroy your site try GoDaddy hosting.

Thanks for all the messages re. the website being down, trying to sort it. Hostgator fkd up my domain renewal and are trying to sort it. Hope to be up & running soon though. I won't be running a subscription service for the Tour though, don't have time and baby due in a month!

I’m facing an issue where the #unity desktop app doesn’t support #Firebase. So I’ll have to write REST APIs in WordPress. I haven’t done it yet, so I am trying it out and have to check with #hostgator. So depending on the solution I come up with, this might be a little delayed.

After over 13 years with @HostGator , I am strongly considering switching hosts, as my current host's customer service staff don't seem to understand my dismay over a 30% price increase, plus a ridiculous $10 monthly fee for cPanel, which other hosts provide at no extra cost.

@ionos_com @HostGator I ended up going with @HostGator. Although they were never able to tell me why I wasn't receiving their PIN reset emails, their phone support was excellent and I believe I've migrated everything successfully.

If all you do is one thing (in this case hosting servers) you should at least try and be good at it. I chose @HostGator precisely to not have to deal with problems like this, incredibly disappointed.

Follow up on my last post, I know its not Hostgator, just the process of needing to submit info to buy a domain and then for legal reasons that info is made public. Still, I've bought many domains and never had calls like this.
