Nes (@darthguero) reported@HGSupport @HostGator Absolutely horrible customer support. Gator AI told me a configuration was done and was not true. Tried email and it was rejected. Chats claimed my user ID was incorrect and unable to get it via email. Nothing ever came. Is this still a real company?

Don’t know who’s telling you to write what you wrote but it’s a really bad look.

Zero e-mails updating the situation, daily support chats (whose transcripts are emailed), multiple PM with you on this platform...and nothing. It is time for HG to begin providing real answers beyond cut-and-paste ones.

Their security is extremely weak, management is poor, and they consistently focus on charging extra fees instead of providing reliable service. Zombyboy (@zombyboy) reported@DanMicovic @HostGator Not a single email has been sent to me since last week to let me know what is going on. For me, it's been two days (2 chat sessions and 3 phone calls at various times). The only email I received was last week telling me that our server had been patched and I didn't need to take any action. Then, a few days later, I woke up to our sales guys and editors asking why all of our sites are down. Tomorrow I will be looking at migration options.

HostGator Support (@HGSupport) reported@dcodrea We know that popup looks sketchy, but it isn’t from your HostGator site; it’s a browser extension (Coupert) injecting coupon ads over your dashboard. Try incognito or another browser; if it’s gone, remove the extension. If not, support can help!

Hearing nearly 50k sites still down and HG is recruiting help on Fiverr. Epic fail and clear signal that revenue producing sites cannot trust HG.
