Just seen 212 is not allowing in new customers at the moment. I have stock in both GME and AMC with IG luckily I own it so no liquidity issues.

LovetheGOAT (@GLOATofGOAT) reported@TradesDemon @IGcom Basic membership is £9.99 a month and you get £7.99 credit back every month which valid for 3 months. Commission is £7.99 for share dealings. But if you pay £19.99 a month you still get £7..99 back and commission goes down 3.99 for UK & 4.99 for USA. SIPP is the same.

The number of brokerages doing this to help hedge funds out their shorts is clear market manipulation. There was a class action suit against robinhood because of this...

But basically my point is that this is cash issue for everyone. IG might fear a sharp drop on these stocks leading to massive margin calls.
