Anandhi Chetlur (@anandhichetlur) reported@LBC @IGClientHelp if the ig app and website doesn’t work and there is no help (20 minutes on the phone, WhatsApp), what do customers do? This happens os often. What happens if there is margin call? Is there any regulator looking at these provides or are they above the law?

Dave (@djp4976) reported@TheMoneySponge @IGcom US stocks have always been fine for orders, it’s always been poor U.K. side, especially the smaller more illiquid companies, even if stock is there and you place your order below that level it never seems to fill, I would have hoped if they at removing request for quote that orders would improve but after speaking to a few not sure it will. What’s the point having a trading account with @IGcom if you can’t trade through the platform, more like a holdco than anything else. Anyway, I’ll see how bad it is next week when migrated and go from there

Dave (@djp4976) reported@IGcom You’re going to lose a hell of a lot of investors from your platform shortly due to these changes coming in, looks like no more ‘Request for Quote’ orders, limit and market orders only, wouldn’t be so bad if your orders actually got filled, you’ve always been useless with those, seems like only US stocks get filled with U.K. stocks sat there being unfilled all day even when there’s plenty of stock available within that order price

Simple requests go through convoluted processes; I was promised a 3hr turnaround on a ‘ card verification’ that is still pending over 24hrs later? Shocking customer service!
