@JimSuncomm1 @FuturesOperat0r @IBKR My platform understands that if I am long a 15 Call and short a 25 Call then I have 0 risk - apart from premium loss. When I sell the 25 call (against a 15 call) there is 0 margin attached to it. I have been doing this strategy for more than 20 years without a problem.

@JamesMcClanahan @IBKR I tried to open a ticket but the system rejects. I went on the offenseive leaving dozens of tweets and feed back on Trust Pilot. Eventually, they contacted me (shock) and my problem was solved in 10 mins.

@IBKR The FCA in UK (Financial Conduct Authority) refuses to provide any comment or help with issues related to Interactive Brokers UK. My account is locked and only way to unlock is to call support but noone is answering since a week. I should have withdraw my money when I could.

@JimSuncomm1 @FuturesOperat0r @IBKR Yes. I understand what it means to be short calls. I traded options for a large Swiss bank so I understand what they do. When I trade call spreads I invariably trade out of them on expiry day. Never had a problem.

@resharmonica @IBKR Same here, you can only deal with security related issues by phone and noone answering since Tuesday. I think they block people becuase they want to prevent mass account closing and money withdrawal.

@IBKR stuck in a loop where I can't cancel the application because I've funded it, and I can't complete it because as a beneficiary to my parents I can offer no proof of residence. And your support is 2 hours of waiting. Worst experience I've personally had with any firm.
