@orrdavid @IBKR a lot of questions like AUM, structure (PA vs SMA vs Fund), what mkts do they trade, how often do they trade, do they short?, etc. And most importantly, where did they go? I'd love to find a better solution because IB is horrible.

@Anonymous7902 @IBKR They're kind of trying to do the right thing. They gave me access to special support once I got big enough. But that team needs more power to override the system, especially in spots where it makes no sense not to. $IBKR shouldn't try to automate everything for big customers.

@orrdavid @IBKR Alternatives are all bad in their own way and you'll probably end up staying at @IBKR. Dash Prime for any account size and you're ok with Apex but you need an EMS. Clear Street and StoneX both have lower touch prime offerings if you're in an LLC but cost more.

@TradeLightspeed We use both your service and Interactive Brokers @IBKR, no you can't beat their Margin rates and or their commissions but their service sucks, impossible to automate trading with their awful security requirements.

@Latrilife @IBKR I almost never ask for support but the few times I have, they've either been slow or rigidly said no way. This time they're actually responding now, after I posted this and emailed them saying they were losing a customer after the guy said "no exceptions".

@orrdavid @IBKR I am going to start an IB customer support group. My fave story is I was supposed to be part of a DE Appraisal Rights dissenting shareholder group, but IB sent the docs too late, and I got kicked out. I did everything on my end in a timely and correct fashion. IB: too bad

not able to trade on ibkr now, anyone else having that issue? @IBKR Tried the ibkr chat bot and it said "servers too busy" So I'm guessing others are having issues too.

@orrdavid @IBKR the key to a deep moat is not that you please customers but that you piss off customers but they do not leave. methinks you are about to go thru the same process many others have (including myself) and end up back at IB. But I hope I am wrong and you share the better solution.

I'm ready to upgrade brokers. Can anyone suggest a good one for a high gross leverage investor - fair short borrow costs and rebates? @IBKR's rigid and terrible support has pissed me off one time too many. They are just so shockingly bad.
