    @IBKR I had to deal with 3 separate customer care executives on 3 different instances and each of them gives conflicting reasons and advice for the delay and additional documentation. The customer care folks who handle the calls are not clear of your own process.

    @IBKR your service model is broken. I opened an account, got an account number, initiated funding it, and missed an email that the passport was grainy, was subsequently rejected and now can’t get in touch with a person.

    @IBKR your platform sucks and your customer service is as bad as Spirit Airlines. I have been on hold for 35 minutes calling from overseas so the cost will be extremely expensive. You suck, always have and the reason I hate using your platform

    @IBKR To clarify: the application has been stuck since March 23 due to a known wizard bug on IBKR's end. March 25 was when Live Chat confirmed the issue and promised same-day resolution, which never happened.

    @IBKR hey yo, settled DRS transfer not received after 10 business days, ticket system unresponsive. Phone call got hung up, all tickets are AI, no customer service. Like WTF, guys stay a mile from this broker if you can

    @IBKR @bclund Login to IBK - nothing but problems when using Portal for the Lap Top. Requires ID, Password, then an SMS Code (which always worked_ but now takes you to a page that requires scanning a QR Code on your phone using the phone APP. Nothing but HELL. Missed trades, timed put while trying to update information, and on and on. Tried talking to HELP but could not even understand the individual claiming to speak English (no offence to the person). If you cannot communicate, then what is the purpose of HELP? So now logging in through PORTAL requires both the lap top and a cell phone APP to use the lap top. RE: Response from IBCS at 24-Jul-2025 Dear Mr. ______, This is a follow up to our conversation from earlier today. Your request has been approved and your account can continue to use SMS text as the two factor authentication method. Please let me know if you have any additional questions. Kind regards, Michael M IBKR Client Services ****The result was it never worked, still doesn't, and have to use TWO pieces of hardware and two different software. Once I get to sell out of the shares I have through IBK I am gone!!

    @IBKR Thx for your reply, but this was a week ago. 😬 This was a first technical issue in a long time, so no hard feeling, but would have liked a much swifter response in the app,this took several hours and that is just too long.

    @IBKR @JoseTorresEcon Been waiting a whole month for your Transfer team to reach out to my current broker so they can transfer all of my positions to IBKR. How is this normal? The most rubbish customer service I have ever seen. If you dont help me asap I’m going to cancel my transfer request.

    @IBKR Unresolvable problem: blue "log in" button won't work for error "You are logged in without Trading/Market Data permissions You are not connected to the brokerage system (You may be logged in on another platform). The displayed portfolio and market data are delayed."

    @renatodelarento @Trading212 @IBKR IBKR: interesting info. But 4me, I can't digest all the incoming on the investment front for myself. That's why I'm willing to pay someone (they get a cut of my investment) who is more trained than myself. My training: fight fires, b a paramedic, fix auto body's, & not worry.
