We've been taking @IBKR for a test drive on their "institutional account" platform. Have interacted with their support people twice - downright awful - both times told me the completely wrong thing. Sometimes you get what you pay for I guess.

@Keubiko @IBKR They didn't impress me as a retail trading platform and I went back to TW. TW's mobile app is awful, and there's no phone support, but their chat people are decent.

@IBKR I traveled to another country & now I don't have access to IBKR because I don't receive sms authentication messages sent to my Canadian phone. Yesterday, I had partial access since I could use voice option but FSR those calls started to hang up on me today. IBKR support

@iv_technicals @IBKR Have had a couple issues with them myself lately. Bid higher than ask, laggy market order fills, order entry data not populating. TWS desktop is a laggy joke... Looks like it's from 2005

@Keubiko @IBKR My old firm got a big pitch from them ~10 years ago for an institutional build-out. They’d custom design some features. We spent many man hours working with them. In the end, it was so bad we moved the min $10M over there in illiquid positions to just sit idly.

@Keubiko @IBKR Unless something has recently changed radically, I can honestly say that I've always found their hedge fund "help" people to be terrific. They answer the phone on one ring, and if they don't know "the answer" they reach out within the company and get back to me quickly.

@IBKR literally has a naming issue for the $CLAQ Warrants. The name reads *CLAQ War Jun30'26 11.5 CALL (0.5)* where the '0.5' implies that you need 2 warrants for 1 common share -- AND THAT IS ABSOLUTELY INCORRECT! You only need 1 $CLAQW to get 1 common share! SEC Link below.

@IBKR Hi IB team, why are your modelgreeks calculations so wrong? It seems this problem goes back years. API consistently underbakes delta, IV etc for short dated options. Do you plan to look at your options greeks calculations?
