@IBKR @SteveSosnick Thomas is asking “why isn’t everybody on our platform? […] I don’t know”. Well let me answer that for you: other brokers offer better service for their clients for the same $$ eg provide a useable, FAST trading platform. TradingWorkStation is a GARBAGE.

@satcheluk @IBKR The Fed has rules to operate. The FDIC guarantees my money in banks. The SEC regulates stocks and other financial instruments. The Federal Government can legally issue Bonds & tax citizens. Crypto is regulated by no one. The value is moved by very few. It's NOT the same.

@LukeWolgram @puppyeh1 @IBKR Depends, when delisting occurs you are liable for the margin rate + cash consideration until shares are cancelled. In 'uncoverable' events margin rates can get to ridiculous 1000%+ levels, so people cover shorts, stock goes up above 'fair value' i.e. longs sell, so rates go down.
