  @IBKR I do not recommend IB, terrible costumer service. Just look how they answer people on the comment section here. I have a position for several years due to a short on a company that did a merger that they never close and refuse to allow a cashout.

  @IBKR trying to open an account, but the only ID option shown is an Australian driver’s licence, and submission always fails with invalid ID type. Support keeps telling me to upload a passport which isn’t even an available option or try again as it might be tech glitch. Is this a serious platform with tech or support team or just GPT-4 era vibe coded?

  @TheFlowHorse can i ask why when i trade on @IBKR i tried after hours etc and even if there is trade on nasdaq route at that bid price my bid orders is not execute even with 1% lower price or is like lagging sometimes to like that while hyperliquid/binance perps dont have this issue

  @IBKR Ur total garbage. I switched from schwab and swith back after one day. U dont tell people u have to have 100k to get best margin rate then at 1259. All margins go up to 50% and u sell some of my stocks. Customer service is trash also..u should be shut down

  @IBKR No I'm moving to another brokerage. It's 2026 I'm not submitting web tickets when I'm trading $100k positions. You guys can pick up a phone like every other normal brokerage. Take some tips from Schwab and you guys need better customer service, app UX and really everything.

  @ALBACapMgmt @IBKR do you save before logging out? (File > Save Layout) is local JTS folder read-only? uncheck that so settings are saved also File > Global Configuration > Lock and Exit "Use/store settings on server" checked for backing up to IBKR servers

  I lost about $5k yesterday due to liquidation. I tried moving $5k to @IBKR, but it failed despite having cash in my checking account. I don’t blame anyone; this is part of the game. Losing $5k after locking in $65k gains last month is insignificant. I always ensure I have enough buying power and SMA. My mistake was opening a large $HIVE.NE short put that eroded most of my buying power as collateral. Even though it will only use half of that collateral for margin maintenance, it used full cost as requirement until assignment. Was it risky? Maybe I was set to lock in $5k from that play yesterday if the price didn’t drop. The lesson is to avoid selling short puts that erode buying power. Buying shares is better on margin. Next week, I’ll have more buying power to buy back $EOSE, average down on $HIVE, and buy $KEEL (hopefully below $5 when Asia gets crushed Sunday and overnight due to leverage). I optimized my tax lot for $EOSE to ensure as part of that liquidation, it took out shares that had gains instead of FiFO or LILO. This way I work around wash sale if I buy back shares within the next 30 days. DONT FRET, sill on track to $1M this year. I’m buying next week 😈
