@MicrosoftTeams - why, when briefing analysts, do you use Event Builder, a third-party solution? Every time I use it I have problems! I have fiber to the home and have no problems with any other platform. Its not a great advertisement for you and frustrates the heck out of me.

@martinemonks @MicrosoftTeams I found out today from my manager! If you click on the 3 dots next to person’s name & list of options pop down, it should be there along with pin option. Select ‘fit to frame’. Now the videos are similar to Zoom layout & not squashed up!

I support hundreds of users, plenty of people will have no problems. But enough happen on the whole that there is a deeper issue...and as far as changing...

@griffplaysgames @dennyishung @MicrosoftTeams Well I do have some issues with my dock disconnecting recently making the laptop switch from the ethernet in the dock to the WiFi, Teams always reconnects me even during calls. So even on my failing hardware, it reacts appropriately.

@CrzyCreoleMommy @MicrosoftTeams Like every few mins since 8am today bad quality. Rebooted WiFi and called ISP and zero network issues. Changed to my hotspot midday - same issues. It's @MicrosoftTeams! And that's all we have at work it's grinding my gears girl

@MicrosoftTeams Fix the problems at Datacenters in Dublin & London first. Poor performance shouldn't be made the problem of the end user and slow everyone down. 4weeks of useless service and experts can't find the problem as they couldn't 2yrs ago for 3months. (Load balancing & proxy server off)

@janvanhumbeek @dennyishung @MicrosoftTeams You're missing the point though. Teams is intrusive, without good reason. A simple messaging app also shouldn't suck memory like it does. The drops and quality have happened on a number of devices and networks, both wired and wireless. It's a teams issue, not a network one.

@deafdragongirl @AlisonHendry16 @MicrosoftTeams I am the same - had no issues either. Recently ran several events on teams with 2 interpreters and no issues at all. We can’t use zoom at work anyway due to security concerns but I do love teams, the captions on the other hand is a story for another day!

A problem with MS Teams is that if I'm adding a poll to a teams meeting and then someone messages me, I check the message and have to then redo the poll. No autosave feature. Endless frustration. Thanks @MicrosoftTeams

@griffplaysgames @dennyishung @MicrosoftTeams Can confirm that with Aruba VPN it doesn't interfere. Or maybe the routing is handled differently? Traffic to MS Teams servers is not routed over the VPN gateway here. If yours is, then that explains why VPN connectivity is an issue.

But if you are one user. Our experience will not be the same. I see the problems that only happen once in a while a lot due to sample size

@janvanhumbeek @dennyishung @MicrosoftTeams Actually yes. Particularly their thunderbolt is their worst connection type. They've always had issues with their docking connectors for years but the thunderbolt ones, the cables generally are just really shite. They're hit and miss out the box

I hate @MicrosoftTeams so much. App is slow, user unfriendly, and is sometimes CPU and memory intensive. I can't even directly save an image that was sent on a channel. I have to copy and paste it elsewhere to be able to download it. #weird
