@AkashaThorne @MicrosoftTeams It uses way too much memory. Corporate computers usually have a lot of background processes already using lots of cpu/RAM, combine that with low end computers and you have a slow machine. Also, the renderer it's painfully slow on integrated graphics.

@AkashaThorne @MicrosoftTeams It's slow in our virtual machine environment. It seems to hog a lot of resources. I've disabled hardware acceleration which seems to help. But is still slow and unstable.

@MicrosoftTeams what's happening there? You got got any security issues or bugs? Members are getting kicked randomly, then they are not able to join the call anymore. Strangers are suddenly joining the call.. Do i need to worry about safety?

@Balinde24445013 @MicrosoftTeams We spent ages trying to figure it out at our school. It's not a glitch. Microsoft have changed the licenses so that Live Events are no longer available unless you upgrade to a more expensive license...

@AkashaThorne @MicrosoftTeams It works well on a mobile device, but most in my team refuse to use it on desktop. When working remotely it's especially unstable (this is most likely an issue in our side. Under specd VMs). We use VMWare for our VMs.

@MrHigginsMods @MicrosoftTeams Good point. I've used the return / revise / resubmit feedback loop thing but you're right it still shows in Insights as completed. I know nothing about tech but it doesn't seem like a complicated thing to fix....!

@AkashaThorne @MicrosoftTeams I do have some specific issues with audio/video part. When sharing there's a popup that places itself over what I'm sharing. I try to move it out of the way but it has a tendency to just pop back where I don't want it.

@pddring @MrAColley I've seen that too, some don't have a problem talking in that chat but would never talk in the classroom. What's odd is some students I can't get to stop talking in a classroom but won't say a thing in @MicrosoftTeams #caschat

@MicrosoftTeams That is not the same issue; that's an request for Ctrl-. to toggle showing keyboard shortcuts. But seriously, do you need my voice for something so obvious? Is there ANY Microsoft application besides Teams that has a keyboard shortcut to open a file and not one to close it?

Hi @MicrosoftTeams Yesterday I launched you for the first time after two months. After five minutes, you’re app was already eating 10Gb of RAM. Come on, why on hell your app has to be that way? Fix it please! (My machine: Mac OSx Catalina with 16Gb of RAM on a 1Tb SSD)

@MicrosoftTeams It's not chat functionality. Teams regularly (and feels like most often on Monday) refuses to connect. Browser and Outlook are connected to the internet, but Teams won't. Restarting teams doesn't help, restarting network connection doesn't help, have to reboot Windows to fix it.

@AkashaThorne @MicrosoftTeams It's the death of a thousand cuts. Setting aside stability issues, the two that immediately come to mind: 1) Unwillingness to use MacOS's built in notification functionality. That means that I have to silence notifications in teams, independently of everything else.

@DudleyDan2 @MicrosoftTeams How did you get round the issue of elevated login not being supported ? And it showing a blank screen, we ended up with different options like TeamViewer or sccm if domain joined. Also used the quick support option but that sadly has the same issues.
