@MorningBrew "It's not working!" IT support... filled with random emails of "It's not working!" with absolutely no details of what isn't working to where I have to ask questions and wait for an answer. Or @microsoftteams chat with "hi", you respond, and wait for them to type the question

@billyhollis @MicrosoftTeams The quick fix that works for me all the time is: choco uninstall teams -y choco install teams -y Yes, you need to waste a few minutes signing into the accounts, but it is faster than trying to debug the mercurial behaviour of Teams. Once logged in, it does work great!!!

@john_moore @MicrosoftTeams Well it was your comments, I think, that inspired me to write this up. Then I spent far more time than I thought scripting it. The only thing I didn't finish (yet) was making it auto-join. AutoIT v PA Desktop, latter felt more pure but was more error-prone.. I'll finish it!

@tysons941 @jdscher @MicrosoftTeams Yes. Teams allows you to login and authenticate the device on v6 or less which doesn’t fail if Intune enrolment fails for the device. In v7 they fixed it so it fails logon if Intune enrolment fails. This is only if the Intune license is applied to the user. 1/2

For about 2 months now @MicrosoftTeams microphone and video do not work on my @Dell Latitude E5570 laptop. Supposedly there is a Microsoft fix but, despite a lot of updates installed, nothing. Teams works fine on my iPhone and @Apple Mac. Make of that what you will.

@tysons941 @jdscher @MicrosoftTeams It’s not a fix for now to get by, you need to enable Android enrolment in Intune for these devices going forward or remove Intune licenses from the users trying to login. This isn’t going to be removed as it’s technically not a bug.

(@scepticos1) reported
@MicrosoftTeams Please fix the bug where chats display older messages instead of the latest ones, even though in the preview it shows the latest one. This doesn't happen in the mobile version, only on the desktop app and the web (Edge) app.

Chris Lange
(@crslng) reported
@tysons941 @jdscher @MicrosoftTeams Fix is to remove the Intune license from the user or allow Android enrolment in Intune. 2/2

Is there a simple @MicrosoftTeams app that allows my team to quickly view each other's photos and what they're working on (and let them provide periodic updates)? I've gone down a frustrating rabbit hole trying to find one and have come up empty...

PSA: the @MicrosoftTeams folks have chosen to hide "Sign out" in the menus. On Android, look under settings (why?) and scroll down because it's under the fold. That was five minutes of my vacation, wasted. 🙄

@danieldlugos @MicrosoftTeams Teams comes built into Windows 11. It just that Windows 11 isn't officially supported on computers that are more than two years old even though they can readily run Win11 without issue.

If you’re unfortunately in an organisation that chose @MicrosoftTeams over @Zoom and you’re fed up with how slow the desktop app runs (particularly a problem for Mac users?) then try the web app instead. Much more responsive & doesn’t cycle my Mac’s CPU through the roof.
