Ajay Sudame (@Pakodewallah) reported from Nāgpur, Maharashtra.@NeerajCNBC says BSNL/MTNL are dead companies. Hence decision by them to not procure 4G Equipments from China is inconsequential. Neeraj ji, BSNL may not have much retail business,but it provides backbone to all the mobile companies. Hence biggest customer of switches etc.

I personally transverse through all these, like a mute spectator stand alone when RED and experience blatant violation. People look at me as if I am foolish to stand.

MTNL and BSNL had a head start of decades, infrastructure across the entire country, and zero debt initially. Jio launched in 2016. BSNL was already struggling long before that. The real killers were delayed decisions (4G came years late), bureaucratic deadweight, and a workforce that grew without accountability.
