Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL) is a state-owned telecommunications service provider in the metro cities of Mumbai and New Delhi that offers landline and mobile phone and internet service. Landline internet service is available as dial-up, DSL and fiber. MTNL also offers television over internet (IPTV).

Earlier atleast mtnl network was working 3G over here network is not there at all also indoor homes and offices also no network. JIO has 100% much better network private company network are best.

Within 24hrs my phone was working and MTNL zonal manager called to inquire if phone was working fine.

MTNL retains its legal entity solely for asset monetization (prime land, towers, e.g., BKC sale) to service debts. MTNL staff bridge both during transition, creating overlap and unclear reporting until DoT finalizes absorption/redeployment. HR issues (promotions, benefits) pending; unions pushing for options like BSNL integration or DoT return. Direction should improve post-resolution.
