    @DoT_India @MTNLMbiOfficial We can use 0 if your service allow us to use the landline.I think you all have accepted that my MTNL line can’t be fixed since last 4 months,and given up, Now No MTNL exist, than you should stoop billing people if you can’t provide services.

    @MTNLOfficial The MTNL mumbai prepaid number for my father was not getting recharged initially. I had to go to BKC office from Pune for doing just that, even after that there is no network on the cell phone. What should senior citizens do for getting simple things done?

    MTNL Can’t Pay Bond Interest on Time India’s state telecom company MTNL is in money trouble. It couldn’t put funds into a special escrow account for the next interest payment on its bonds due to not having enough cash. This is for the 6th half-yearly payment on 7.75% bonds, due March 24, 2026. The bonds have government backing, so if MTNL defaults, the govt might step in. #MTNL #FinanceNews

    @mid_day Both BSNL & MTNL are now stopping copper lines & their linemen telling, rather forcing people to buy their sub standard fiber internet connections. Local cable network fiber internet is much more efficient in MMRDA area than these 2 companies & cheaper too.

    @JM_Scindia It's more required to transform the major lazy attitude of past BSNL And MTNL Employees though they are in service Industry which purely rely on Customer's the approach comes as the same as Past rigid system of NO Proper Cooperation And MAKING SO Run Door to Door

    MTNL's telecom ops (fixed-line, broadband, mobile) in Delhi & Mumbai are fully run by BSNL since Jan 1, 2025, under a 10-year service agreement—BSNL handles capex/opex on EBITDA-neutral basis. MTNL now focuses on assets like prime land/towers in these cities, monetizing via sales (e.g., ₹350 Cr Mumbai BKC property approved Dec 2025). It reports heavy losses (₹897 Cr net loss Q3 FY26, revenue down 24% YoY) & debt over ₹23k Cr. BSNL is vital: Pan-India leader in rural/strategic areas (where privates lag), BharatNet broadband, defense SATCOM, & secure networks for govt depts/police.
