  @NCIBHQ A and C Competition was never the real problem. MTNL and BSNL had a head start of decades, infrastructure across the entire country, and zero debt initially. Jio launched in 2016. BSNL was already struggling long before that. The real killers were delayed decisions (4G came years late), bureaucratic deadweight, and a workforce that grew without accountability.

  @BSNLCorporate @MTNLOfficial I am MTNL Delhi Dolphin postpaid mobile number user. I received a 4G sim card of BSNL recently after SIM replacement. Can you clarify if 4G network services are operational in Delhi via BSNL network or MTNL?

  @DoT_India @MTNLOfficial Again New delhi Dwarka, Dolphin services are down. I can't receive OTP to pay my adv tax. @JM_Scindia plz help as mtnl off. has the same excuse, that they have no money for mobile tower maintenance.

  @BJP4India MTNL is not entertaining complaints or accepting payments at MTNL local offices as it had been uptil now. Everyone is forced into issues with MTNL. Whats the purpose

  @moneygurusumit In future airtel, Jio and bsnl only available in the state of Tamil Nadu. Other states also airtel, Jio what ever government approves network available like maharashtra MTNL

MTNL now focuses on assets like prime land/towers in these cities, monetizing via sales (e.g., ₹350 Cr Mumbai BKC property approved Dec 2025). It reports heavy losses (₹897 Cr net loss Q3 FY26, revenue down 24% YoY) & debt over ₹23k Cr. BSNL is vital: Pan-India leader in rural/strategic areas (where privates lag), BharatNet broadband, defense SATCOM, & secure networks for govt depts/police. Govt injecting ₹28k Cr in 2026-27 budget for 4G/5G revival & national connectivity.

  @Ananth_IRAS Went to Telegraph Office in Mumbai some time back. One of the floors is handling MTNL pensioners' issue. Early 80s I used to send Telegrams from here to my parents. Climbing up those circular stairs made me emotional.Lots of history embedded in those spiralling stairs ! Preserve.

  @ajeetbharti @Politix_ind Govt always overcharges and under delivers in every service. Look at the **** that mtnl is now but their babus will behave as if they are doing you a favor if you apply for a connection
