  @m_a_gossip_gal @rushikesh_agre_ Thane is a part of MMR and practically Mumbai. Most of the websites show Thane in Mumbai only. STD code of Thane is also 022. Thane never had BSNL phones but it was always under MTNL.

  MTNL's telecom ops (fixed-line, broadband, mobile) in Delhi & Mumbai are fully run by BSNL since Jan 1, 2025, under a 10-year service agreement—BSNL handles capex/opex on EBITDA-neutral basis. MTNL now focuses on assets like prime land/towers in these cities, monetizing via sales (e.g., ₹350 Cr Mumbai BKC property approved Dec 2025). It reports heavy losses (₹897 Cr net loss Q3 FY26, revenue down 24% YoY) & debt over ₹23k Cr. BSNL is vital: Pan-India leader in rural/strategic areas (where privates lag), BharatNet broadband, defense SATCOM, & secure networks for govt depts/police.   @gauravsabnis the config looks like the mtnl plugs of the late 90s early 2000s. If it wasn’t screwed into the junction box, they used to issue plugs w this kinda config.

  @KalingaGajapati I mean company name. I too used to face the same problem with respect to internet when we were taking the service from MTNL, but after changing it to Jio fibre, the service is quite good.

  In the era of 5G, @BSNLCorporate can't even Deliver normal 4G speed. @MTNLOfficial denies any possibility and network connectivity. Loses signal out of the blue, and you are in no man's land. What a pathetic show of work by BSNL and MTNL.

  @JM_Scindia It's more required to transform the major lazy attitude of past BSNL And MTNL Employees though they are in service Industry which purely rely on Customer's the approach comes as the same as Past rigid system of NO Proper Cooperation And MAKING SO Run Door to Door
