To further improve mobile network coverage and service quality in the area, additional sites are planned under the ongoing 4G expansion programme.   @theamitkpaul Without going into what you said, the origin of the discussion was the space sector. That is what I commented on to begin with. I stand by what I said about Space sector start ups doing good work. Likewise, service standards, costs, and technology in telecom has improved leaps and bounds. I do not mourn the demise of MTNL and BSNL at all. I see no reason to do so, other than ideological nostalgia. The other thing you said about the chaebols is a discussion by itself. But the bogey of Adani cannot be used as a veto to perpetuate public sector inefficiencies which didn't cause growth or innovation, but were somehow acceptable because a govt servant making unaccounted money didn't seem as bad. It's a long discussion. And I'm out for now.

  @bsnl_care The status of this docket is showing as closed !. IT is saying "MTNL team examined the issue and confirmed that all existing nearby 3G and 4G sites are working satisfactorily." even when there is no network in my area.
