  @theamitkpaul Without going into what you said, the origin of the discussion was the space sector. That is what I commented on to begin with. I stand by what I said about Space sector start ups doing good work. Likewise, service standards, costs, and technology in telecom has improved leaps and bounds. I do not mourn the demise of MTNL and BSNL at all. I see no reason to do so, other than ideological nostalgia. The other thing you said about the chaebols is a discussion by itself. But the bogey of Adani cannot be used as a veto to perpetuate public sector inefficiencies which didn't cause growth or innovation, but were somehow acceptable because a govt servant making unaccounted money didn't seem as bad. It's a long discussion. And I'm out for now.

  @reliancejio Jio connection air Fiber and Internet in Ghatkopar is worst then MTNL Hopeless staff , no communication, Advance payment made but no connection on promise time and no service , no call back. No one should take new connection in such pathetic service by local team.

  @miprathu Dear Customer, BSNL SIM cards and porting services are available at MTNL offices and authorized retail outlets in Mumbai and Thane. You can visit the nearest MTNL office with a valid ID proof and UPC code (for porting) to get a new SIM or complete the port-in process.   @my_musings_ind @India_from_2014 Dear 6 years r very less compare to my case. My father applied for MTNL landline connection in 1993 when he retired from MbPT and never got connection till 2002. In year 2002, my again applied freshly for MTNL Landline connection in new scheme i.e. only incoming facility, we got.
