Residence: Amber 067, Ground Floor, Emerald Estates, Sector 65, Gurgaon, Haryana 122101. This is a three-storey building and surrounding houses are also only three storeys. My BSNL number is currently in roaming here and should be getting connectivity through MTNL. However, the network strength is extremely weak — even in the back bedroom signals are barely usable and calls frequently drop. BSNL Service Number: 94157758957 @BSNLCorporate @MTNLOfficial @AshwiniVaishnaw Such poor basic connectivity in the national capital region is quite concerning. Request BSNL/MTNL to kindly review the network situation in this area and improve coverage urgently.

MTNL retains its legal entity solely for asset monetization (prime land, towers, e.g., BKC sale) to service debts. MTNL staff bridge both during transition, creating overlap and unclear reporting until DoT finalizes absorption/redeployment. HR issues (promotions, benefits) pending; unions pushing for options like BSNL integration or DoT return. Direction should improve post-resolution.

I was young and naive. MTNL guy was corrupted and I had no help from family. He took our one line to transfer the other one. India has come a long way looking at those days.
