  @Brezzy_Drive @HT_Mumbai Its because there is no enough staff to monitor and inspect.... Back in 90s or early 2000 there used to be heavy petroling by MTNL throughout Mumbai,,,, forget about theft, even person couldn't even start excavation without permission of MTNL along with BMC.... what a poor state..

To further improve network coverage in the area, additional sites will be planned under the ongoing 4G expansion programme.   @Indian_Analyzer Problem is they have no outlets like the other mobile operators, and no easy access offices. I would have transferred my MTNL number to BSNL when I moved out of Mumbai, but absolutely no outlets to go to @BSNLCorporate

  @Ajaykumaarji @bsnl_care Tried myself sometimes back was getting cellone and mtnl signal for calling at random times, no internet. This situation is in Tikri, Gurgaon. Thankfully the test paid off as I didn't want to take chances on my main number with porting.
