@alva_margaret The MTNL message seems like a phishing attempt some hacker sent from a non English speaking country. It's loaded with grammatical errors.

@alva_margaret (1) There is no MTNL Ltd. Its Mahanagar Telphone Nigam Ltd. (2) The English is totally broken, unlikely from a govt source, but these days you can't really say. (3) The customer care number given is "SCAM", according to Truecaller.

@Madhuri40366321 MTNL never ask for the e-KYC on WhatsApp/SMS/Call etc. ,MTNL Alert by sending messages to all GSM customers to avoid such type of EKYC messages as it may lead to some kind of fraud , hence you are requested to ignore such E-KYC messages.

@alva_margaret Mam, with All due respect , it's a Scam. #MTNL is sending communication to it's esteemed customers not to entertain such Messages. MTNL'S CUSTOMER CARE NUMBER IS 1130 There are so many red flags ,like spelling mistake, wrong org name, a different operator mobile number etc.

@Amitkum37728169 @alva_margaret The number mentioned in her screenshot as MTNL customer care number is a Jio number from WB. Most spam numbers originate from WB & Assam border districts.

@alva_margaret Are you still using the MTNL, you should be honoured with "Padam Shri" award.. My landline of MTNL Delhi is not working from last 5 years. There office in Delhi just look like haunted place with 1 or 2 staff and that too outsourced !!!
