The reason Jet is going through the phase of bankruptcy is because of poor decisions by the chairman. BSNL and MTNL are working fine. At least check the tweet of BSNL CEO for your satisfaction.

We have forced Entire customer base to switch loyalty from BSNL which is still struggling launch of 4G. Sadly it is heading the airindia way

amishmm (@amishmm) reported@bsnl_care I dont have MTNL SIM. I have BSNL 4G SIM. Handset is Realme Narzo 90x 5G, launched just recently. Jio and Airtel VOLTE is working fine in same handset. Why is BSNL VOLTE not working?

You can visit the nearest MTNL office with a valid ID proof and UPC code (for porting) to get a new SIM or complete the port-in process. You getting passport in a week is correct, and the normal...you should say, our time , olden time was bad...Newer time, today is OK...it's not heaven...ITS NORMAL... nothing more..

Hope that incidental govt investment in Vodafone works out something soon to become an alternative to poor service giants Jio / Airtel. Govt must truly revive BSNL to competitive level and let Vodafone give some jitters to duopolistic companies.

Your customer care informed me to use MTNL Network. They don't even know about the new 4G service arrangement by launching 4G as a service in mumbai.
