    Govt of India directs BSNL & MTNL not to use Chinese spares and call for new tenders.Congtas GOI. Such orders should be given to all the industries including Pharmas. Most of them use cheaper Chinese raw material to keep mfg costs down.#ChinaVIndia

    @VikashS28 @InvesysCapital They never gave any problems so long as you guys are paying taxes. Air India bhit oh chal raha hai, bank/mtnl/hmt...so many examples. BHEL is profitable btw..

    Why does @PMOIndia @BJP4India has to inject tens of thousands of crores in a wasteful company like BSNL MTNL who are never going to be profitable.. it's probably just government that uses their services so shut it down and don't waste our tax money

    @credofly Well, I beg to disagree. ICICI Bank and Credit Cards are good starting point but as a bank the strategy is very apparent that they want to go the volume route than value. They would offer Sapphiro branded as premium as LTF to everyone but there isnโ€™t anything premium there. EPM which is premium is frequently facing operation issues with vouchers taking as long as 48 hours at times. Not that there is anything wrong with it but in my mind they are getting closer to being a MTNL to BSNL (BSNL here being SBI and the reference because MTNL used to be a lesser evil of the two when compared to BSNL)!

    MTNL โ€” โ‚น17,571 Cr NCD Rating Still On Watch India Ratings has maintained MTNLโ€™s โ‚น17,571 Cr NCDs at IND AAA(CE), but the Rating Watch with Negative Implications continues. The key concern: delays in funding the designated account meant for bond servicing. The rating is supported by an unconditional GoI guarantee and the structured payment mechanism. MTNL had just โ‚น115 Cr of cash as of March 31, 2026, which is being used for interest payments until asset monetisation proceeds are exhausted. India Ratings expects continued GoI support, but any non-adherence to the payment mechanism could increase the risk of delays in servicing the bonds.

    @bsnl_care Latest update when I went to mtnl office they told me they don't have any idea about the online sim booking so i buyed a new sim from them worth rs157 but it's been more then 4 hours but sim isn't showing any network. Rebooted phone and reinstalled the sim multiple time no use.

    @bsnl_care You need to tell 1. When will network be restored Already since many days, there is network outage 2. Since so many days, what has been done by BSNL Team - I spoke with Mr. Garg, local BSNL chief. He said that "He is forwarding this to MTNL" - This is a deflection, unacceptable

    @bsnl_care Shared the details via DM, but let me tell you that I have also been wasting my time doing this exercise, as for the last three years, both BSNL and MTNL have failed to restore even basic 2G network services, let alone 4G or 5G
